Living Epistles Ministries is a teaching ministry in Port Jefferson Station, New York, led by the pastor, teacher, and founder Sheila R. Vitale. Pastor Vitale uses the Living Epistles Ministries platform to share writings, including a series of alternate translations of scripture.

The Alternate Translation of The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John provides readers with an alternate, spiritual-based interpretation of Biblical scripture. The translation comes from the Doctrine of Christ and in no way functions to replace traditional translations.

Pastor Vitale drew on a wide range of resources for her translation, including Brown Driver and Briggs’ Hebrew Lexicon, Gesenius’ Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament, and Nelson’s Bible Dictionary. The book begins with an extensive preface describing the purpose of an alternate translation, followed by 22 chapters of the Book of Revelation.

Pastor Vitale has produced similar translations of the Old and New Testament, which students can use to develop a more comprehensive understanding of Godly spirituality through Living Epistles Ministries.
