A BRIEF HISTORY OF LIVING EPISTLES MINISTRIES

 Article #108 (10/22/2022)

Living Epistles Ministries is a New-York based ministry that provides Christian teachings in various regions of the world through free literature. The organization offers various Christian audio and video materials as well as transcripts of audio messages. It also delivers alternate translations of the Bible and art illustrations that embody spiritual principles. Living Epistles Ministries donates to organizations that embody Judeo-Christian principles.

Sheila Vitale formed Living Epistles Ministries in 1988. Born to secular Jewish parents, Vitale attended an Orthodox Hebrew school, where her spiritual journey began. She started to study the Hebrew Scripture and soon began to teach her understanding of the Torah and the New Testament. Her teachings stemmed from her brand of Judeo-Christian spiritual philosophy, which she refers to as The Doctrine of Christ.

In 1987, Sheila Vitale began her ministry and delivered her first message in January 1988. Over time, meetings in the Ministry increased from once a week to three times a week. Since its formation, Living Epistles Ministries has created lending libraries worldwide. It also continues to give a significant percentage of its income to support the poor with food, medical treatment, and clothing, as well as other organizations that support Judeo-Christian Values.
