The Limits Of Romantic Love

Living Epistles Ministries was created in 1987 when founder, teacher, and pastor Sheila Vitale received a sign from Jesus. Her first oration in the ministry, whose goal is to teach and dispense Christian literature, was in 1988 when she preached The Truth About Witchcraft. Living Epistles Ministries offers a wide variety of resources including videos, recordings, and books based upon its founder’s teachings.

In some of her messages, Pastor Vitale showcases the importance of certain life situations, and gives examples found in literature. She has delivered messages based on several famous novels such as Scott Fitzgerald's "Tender Is the Night" and "Anna Karenina" by Tolstoy. In her address titled "Romantic Love, " she reveals through the story of Anna Karenina, how romantic love that falls outside the boundaries of society can lead to destruction, in comparison to the love of God. which always leads to spiritual growth and fulfillment.

Only by certain guidelines and parameters can true love be achieved, that is, with responsibility toward one another and only through marriage. Without creating a safe environment, a stable home for children and family, one cannot hope to maintain that love. A focus on romantic love alone will likely lead to disaster and destruction, which is what happened to Anna Karenina.
