In her website posting "Introduction to Dream Interpretation," Sheila Vitale reveals that the nature of dreams is spiritual and that all spiritual events come out of the unconscious mind. According to James, those that possess the mind of Christ have a double mind, as they also have the carnal mind. The publication then explains the unconscious, subconscious, and conscious parts of the mind and who they represent.

Jesus represents the unconscious and subconscious parts of the Christ mind while Abel is the conscious part. On the other hand, in the carnal mind, Satan is the unconscious part, and Leviathan is the subconscious while Cain represents the conscious. The book of Job reveals that all dreams are affected by Leviathan, the pride of man, and even if Jesus talks to us in a dream, the message will be distorted by that pride, which makes it difficult to understand.
