A Christian teaching ministry with headquarters in Port Jefferson Station, New York, Living Epistles Ministries publishes and distributes educational materials on a range of religious subjects. In addition to carrying dozens of hardcopy and electronic books, the organization offers multimedia products that range from online videos and recorded DVDs to more than 1,000 audio lectures on tape. Living Epistles Ministries (LEM) offers a unique take on the Christian tradition with in-depth examinations of traditional Biblical values and esoteric translations of both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

Sheila R. Vitale founded LEM in 1988, answering a direct call to service from God. At the time, she had been training as a pastor for six years. Her first prepared message was entitled The Truth About Witchcraft. She quickly followed this up with a second prepared message, The Seduction Of Eve. An effective writer and orator, Ms. Vitale has authored books that range from A Study In Unconscious Mind Control, to About Marriage - A Spiritual View of Divorce, Marriage & Remarriage.
