Founded by Pastor Sheila R. Vitale, Living Epistles Ministries is a Christian teaching ministry that produces and dispenses free Christian literature and content. Living Epistles Ministries allocates part of its income to programs and organizations that uphold Christian principles, support the needy, and defend the Constitution. Living Epistles Ministries teaches a brand of Christ-Centered Kabbalah wherein tattoos are expressly forbidden, as evidenced in several passages in scripture.
There are many reasons why tattoos have to be avoided. Some pertain to the physical, such as needles being used previously on other people and participating in a blood oath displeases the lord, but there are also spiritual reasons. Chief among these is that our bodies don’t belong to us. From Corinthians: Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
In Exodus, God warns: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Tattoos clearly fall under this injunction and so clearly displease the Lord.
