For more than three decades, Living Epistles Ministries has published content to help Christians rightly understand the Bible. Recently, Living Epistles Ministries posted an article encouraging Christians to be cautious when contradictions present themselves, especially those that lead to ungodly actions.
Contradictions present themselves in many ways. One of them is when an understandable dilemma tempts a person to react in an ungodly manner. For example, a wife may be concerned that her husband is leaving her and her children. Should she want to save her marriage, she would be wise to do so in a reasonable way. However, should she resort to forcing her husband into her solution, this becomes ungodly control.
Antichrist statements usually follow a similar pattern. They begin with a truth and then follow up with a lie. Many average people will accept the follow-up lie as truth because they have been led to such a conclusion. The first statement leads them into a trap.
When contradictions present themselves in life, caution is imperative. Know where a path leads before following it.
