Based in Port Jefferson Station, New York, Living Epistles Ministries is a teaching ministry that also publishes the Christian materials they teach. Founded by Pastor Sheila Vitale, who heard and responded to a calling from the Lord to teach the ways and practices of the Christian faith, Living Epistles Ministries supports numerous non-profits, such as Family Radio.
Through its network of FM and AM radio stations across the United States and the Internet, Family Radio is dedicated to spreading the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ. The radio station has various programs broadcasted in scheduled time slots. Their programming includes Community Bridge hosted by Jenny Burkhiser and radio staff who interview people from various ministries and secular community organizations who are spreading God’s message in their communities.
Another Family Radio program is a captivating one-hour show for children called Good News Express, where children can tag along with the character Mr. Conductor and meet interesting friends along five entertaining train stops. There is also the Life’s Questions, God’s Answers program, where often-asked, difficult questions about life are posed by radio listeners and answered by the radio station with passages from the Bible.
