CONTROLLING THE CARNAL MIND

 Article #131 (12/30/2022)

Led by pastor, teacher, and author, Sheila R. Vitale, Living Epistles Ministries is a teaching ministry that provides free literature and audio recordings and teachings. Among these resources, Living Epistles Ministries provides religious teachings on carnality and spirituality.

The carnal mind is a mind led by the world and earthly desires. Christians are involved in Armageddon, a battle of Christ against the carnal mind. The will of God is that all men get rid of it and instead let Christ invade it. While it can be a battle, the word of God has constantly laid steps one can take.

The first phase of your mind's ability to move in Christ is to be quiet when he's not manifesting to you and instead result in prayer. As God is not an author of confusion, opening our hearts to him will let Him reveal the truth. Hebrews 4:14-16 makes them understand that when people lack direction, they can draw confidence in the throne of grace.

Secondly, they can achieve a spiritually led mind by reading the Bible. When they find themselves rainwashed by worldly ways, they can count on the Bible to expose Satan’s lies. It remains the main source of direction for our spiritual development. It provides the framework for separating what the Lord is saying from the devil.
