 Article #119 (11/24/2022)

Based in Port Jefferson, New York, Living Epistles Ministries offers religious teachings by applying the tenets of Jewish spirituality to Christian doctrine. Founded by pastor and educator Sheila Vitale, the organization provides a variety of free resources such as transcribed messages and succinct YouTube videos introducing visitors to its Judeo-Christian approach and Christ-Centered Kabbalah. In addition to leading Living Epistles Ministries, Sheila Vitale has authored numerous religious texts, including “Judah, The Church Today.”

“Judah, The Church Today” is a book that discusses the struggles of the natural and spiritual man by likening it to the conflict of Judah and Israel. The old testament’s account of Judah is a nation separated from Israel comprising two tribes, Judah and Benjamin. Despite being descendants of the same heritage, Israel, the northern kingdom, which comprised ten tribes, is in constant war with the southern nation of Judah. The story uses this as an analogy of the conflict between the natural man, who is carnal in nature, and the spiritual man, who is led by the spirit.

“Judah, The Church Today” discusses themes like cleansing and deliverance, the love of God, putting away evil, and the categories of believers. The 85-page book was published in December 2018 and can be accessed on the Living Epistles Ministries website.
