Praise the Lord! The Lord has given me a very rough understanding of the account of Jacob's flight from Laban's household. We will read the King James translation. If anyone listening to this message does n't know what I'm talking about; I just want to put on this tape that this is going to be a supernatural message because the Lord gave me no time to make any notes, at all, on the alternate meanings of the specific words. He just gave me about twenty minutes in there and I scanned this whole account with the interlinear text on my bible software, clicking on each word to see the potential alternate translation. I now have a word in my heart as to the truth of what happened in this encounter of Jacob's flight. You may recall the King James says that Rachel stole Laban's god and, of course, that's not true. I'm sure you knew that already. I have a word in my heart as to what really happened here. But the Lord didn't give me any time to make any notes on specific alternate translations of specific words. So it's going to be sort of a very similar message to what we did in the message called What Really Happened At Gibeah?
We'll be covering a lot of territory, half of Genesis 30 and probably all of Genesis 31. I'm going to do the best I can to deliver to you what the Lord has shown me here. I want to tell you that the King James account of these two chapters has never ever set right with me. I'm very excited to hear the truth. Whenever the Lord does something like this, when He sends me into my computer at the last minute and gives me a deep revelation like this that I've been asking about for years, it is very exciting. Also, a part of this message tonight is the account of Jacob saying to Laban; let me take what's mine. I'll take the speckled and the spotted cattle and you take the other cattle. The King James Translation says, Jacob took branches from a tree and he put them in the water drought. Now this is the King James Translation; every time that he saw cattle that he wanted for himself, he put the branches from physical trees in the water drought and all of the cattle were born spotted so he could apprehend them. That's just not it, brethren. It just couldn't be it.
So this whole account of Jacob's desire to separate from Laban is misleading. First, he's separating the cattle from Laban. Then he's separating Laban's daughters from Laban. Then they're fleeing from Laban. This whole account, including Rachel supposedly sitting on the household god called the teraphim and her father, Laban, being angry enough to pack up his whole household is a wrong translation. Laban was the head of a tribe in those days. The men that served him were totally dependent upon Laban; they served him; they took care of his flocks. They couldn't quit and go down to Wall Street and get another job. This was their whole life and probably their fathers before them served Laban and their children after them. It's sort of like in feudal times where the serfs lived on the estate and farmed for the feudal lords. I mean, where were Laban's men going to go? They may have been free men, but they had no other jobs to go to. So this man, Laban, was a powerful lord. He had all of these men and their wives and their families serving in his household and he provided for them. Do you really think that a man like this, who was also a military leader, would gather up all his men and go after Jacob to wage war against him? The heads of tribes in those days were also military leaders. Do you think this tough military leader, who was the head of all of these possibly hundreds of families, was looking for something that was stolen from him? Then after traveling a long distance chasing after the man who he thought stole his household god, would let his little daughter send him away because she said to him, Father, I'm after the custom of women and he just put his head between his knees and walked away without examining the rest of her belongings? Think about it, brethren.
This was a war lord. There's not a chance this happened. I will try to present to you what the Lord has shown me. As I was scanning the interlinear text, I said, Lord, what's going on here? This is a last minute thing and I know that the Lord usually gives me time to study. When He doesn't give me time to study, frequently, the message that He's giving me has a meaning. He's not just giving us this revelation and this word because it sounds like a nice topic for tonight's message. It's timely. It has to do with something that's going on in the world today; that's going on in the church world; that's going on in our life. I said to the Lord, what is all this about? The perception came to me that there is a judgment coming down. Now this is not the first time that this ministry has preached a message that has been the execution of a judgment. Does anyone not know what I'm talking about? This account that we will be talking about tonight, there has to be some people in the church world that are playing out the roles of this account; someone is Jacob; someone is Laban. What I think is happening is that this is an account of the two factions in the church today. There are two major factions in the church today. Baptist, Methodist, etc. doesn't have anything to do with it. Spiritually speaking, there are two spiritual factions in the church today, unless you want to say three. The third element would be people who are absolutely blinded; they have faith in Jesus Christ, but they have no idea what's going on. If you want to call that a third element, there are three elements in the church today. There are the people who are ascending in the timeline of Christ Jesus. They're ascending in spiritual power. Then there are people who are ascending in the power of the serpent. Those are the two main factions in the church today. That's what this account is about. Laban represents the establishment in the church.
Brethren, almost every believer that I have met who has come as far as studying on the level that we're studying here, has experienced being a part of a fellowship where Christ is being formed in them, but Christ is not being formed in the pastor. The pastors or the elders of that church are exercising an ungodly authority over the believer in whom Christ is being formed. In the exercise of that authority, they are trying to turn them away from doing what the indwelling Christ is directing the believer to do. We, who have ministries, especially pastors, the responsibility is great. The responsibility is awesome. We are nursemaids, you see. Pastors in the flesh are spiritual nursemaids. We have the Lord's children in our hands and we are suppose to be training you to be sons of God. We're suppose to be training you to hear from Christ Jesus for yourself. We're suppose to be training you to recognize Him and to be able to distinguish between Christ Jesus and your carnal mind. We're here to help you to understand the wisdom of God and how to apply the wisdom of God so that you can walk in a total bubble of educated power based on the wisdom of God. Then we're suppose to set you free, you see. It's very similar to raising your own children. We don't own our own physical children. Children belong to God. Even parents; we're just nursemaids. We're suppose to train them up and give them every skill of this world to survive and live a positive life. We're suppose to teach them about God. We're suppose to teach them about honor and respect and the ten commandments. We're suppose to educate them in the wisdom and the righteous path of this world. We're suppose to help them to the best of our ability to get an education in this world so that they can get a decent job and then we have to let them go.
Now if our children come to us, whether physical children or spiritual children; if they come to us and want our opinion or our advice, there's nothing wrong with that. We've lived many more years than they have, even if they're thirty or forty years old and we're sixty or seventy years old. We'll always have some experiences that they have not had. If they want to come and drink of our well, that's a great honor to us as parents; that they have enough faith in us and that they trust us enough that we will not try to dominate them, that they come to us for our opinion and for our help. It's the same thing with pastors, you see. You can be a very mature person in Christ Jesus and whether or not the Lord keeps you in a fellowship like this or gives you your own group depends on what He's doing in your life. The fact that you're sitting in a fellowship doesn't necessarily mean that you're here because you're so immature. Everybody is different and the Lord has a different plan for you. But as long as you are sitting under a pastor, it's our job to help you to grow and to resist every ungodly effort coming out of your unconscious and subconscious mind to be dependent here. We're suppose to be raising you up. Whether the Lord never moves you out of here, you're suppose to be ready and able to go, if He moves you, like combat troops.
Laban represents the establishment church. I think Isaac's mother and father sent him to Laban and I don't think the King James Translation is very clear, spiritually, as to why they sent Jacob to Laban. It's clear on the surface that it was Rebekah and Isaac who sent Jacob to Laban to flee from the potential wrath of Esau. The King James Translation says Jacob stole Esau's birthright, but it's not true. Jacob did not steal Esau's birthright. Jacob took what was his and if you want to pursue that line of thought, you can get the tapes on Jacob and Esau. So Jacob fled to Laban to get out of the area because the righteous seed is always weaker than the man who has the energy or the inheritance of the first born. Jacob had the righteous seed and Esau had the energy and Jacob fled. Well, what does that mean? Do you think that Jacob fled to hide forever from his brother? No, brethren, those of us who have the righteous seed, we just flee and hide from our brothers with the energy, from our brothers who have the power to hurt us, because they have the power and not the righteousness. We just hide from them long enough to gather our strength together and become strong enough to meet them. When those of us with the righteous seed are strong enough to meet our brothers who have the energy, but are lacking the righteous seed, do we go to them to defeat them? It's just human nature that our brothers who have the energy without the righteous seed, desire to defeat the men with the righteous seed. They desire to dominate them and control them and defeat them.
But those who really have the righteous seed, those who are really living as Christ; we do not go to defeat our brothers who have the energy. Does anybody know what we do? What are we looking for when we finally face them, through our meeting with them? Does anybody know? Yes, exactly! We are looking to give them the seed, but that's really just part of it. It's a good answer. I just want to elaborate on it a little more. We are seeking to join with them so that the whole tree of life can rise from the dead because the righteous seed without the energy is the root system of the tree of life. That root system has to join with the branch, which is the energy to raise the whole tree of life. The whole tree of life is raised, both in the individual and collectively. So you see, it's possible for a man to have the whole tree of life in him and go to his brethren, who just have the branch, and give the seed of Christ so that the whole tree rises in his brethren and then we become a collective tree. Ezekiel said, he saw many trees on both sides of the river.
So the men with the righteous seed are the men with the wisdom; are the men with the understanding, are the men who understand the doctrine of Christ, the men who are living out of Christ Jesus. In the hour that they're strong enough, they will confront their brothers who have the branch of the tree. Who makes that decision, that the men with the righteous seed are strong enough to confront their brother with the branch of the tree? Only Christ Jesus can make that decision. We must be very careful not to go before the time, because those of us who have the righteous seed, but lack spiritual power, if we go before the time, we can really get hurt. If it's Christ Jesus sending you, you know that He's going before you and He's with you. Now I have already preached this. When Jacob got to the point where he saw that his brother Esau was coming out to meet him with a great army, Jacob was absolutely terrified. He was absolutely terrified thinking that his brother was about to wage war unto death against him. Then we find out that Jacob has his experience with the angel, which angel is Christ Jesus within him or in the Old Testament, it is the regenerated Adam within him. When Jacob wakes up in the morning, Esau welcomes him as the long lost brother. The carnal mind is inclined to say, well, you see, Jacob had nothing to worry about. But Jacob had a lot to worry about.
But the regenerated Adam in Jacob rose up and fought the warfare in the spirit and changed Esau's heart. Esau was coming to kill him, absolutely coming to kill him, in my educated opinion. So on the surface, Jacob fled to Laban to avoid being killed by Esau. Well that's true; I don't deny that's true. But also, I'm sure that Laban had a lot to teach Jacob. It's very common to see young sons who do have the young tree of life beginning to grow in them, that the Lord frequently puts them in fellowships where the pastor does not have Christ Jesus growing in him. But the man is solid in other areas. He's mature as an individual. He's mature as a man. He's mature as a business man. You have to be a business man to run a church. Usually he has a wife and children. He has the maturity of a husband and a father. Very frequently, believers who have Christ being formed in them are unstable in their personalities. It's very common that they're unstable in their personality. So it's not at all unusual for the Lord to send a young believer where Christ is conceived and put that believer under a man who does not have Christ grafted to him, but has the stability of this world. It's not enough to have Christ grafted to you. You must have the stability of this world. Christ Jesus rising or regenerating in you, Christ Jesus maturing in you, is limited to the degree that you can function as a mature person in this world. Christ Jesus in the individual is limited when He is rising in a personality who cannot get along with other people. He's limited when the personality that He's dwelling in fights with everybody, everywhere. He's limited when the person that He's maturing in has a problem forgiving people. He's limited when the personality that He's maturing in cannot submit to authority. He's limited when the person that He's dwelling in is so rebellious that they just outwardly don't do what He tells them. He's limited. So it's very very common that the Lord will send the person where Christ Jesus is being formed and matured and put them in submission to a man who has less spiritual authority than they do.
It's the same principle as a young king, seven, eight, nine, ten years old, who is king because his father died. They don't let him rule; he's under a regent. He has the authority, but he just doesn't have the maturity or the knowledge or the experience. So Jacob was sent to Laban and I believe that he was not sent there only because he was fleeing from Esau. He was sent there to mature and to learn whatever he could learn from Laban because he wasn't learning it from his own father. His own father preferred Esau and was training Esau to be the head. Isaac was deceived as to which one of his sons had inherited the promise. We covered this on the messages on Jacob and Esau. Isaac thought because Esau had the spiritual power, that he was the son that was going to carry forth the name of the Lord, but Isaac was wrong. Isaac got involved in some measure of witchcraft, as shocking as that may sound to all the pharisaical minds. It is still true. Now, I've seen this happen. Someone doesn't get the training, like a young person who doesn't get the training they need from their parents, for whatever reason, and the Lord sends them to someone in God to train them up. So Jacob went and he had to learn how to submit to Laban. Jacob had overridden the authority of Isaac. Isaac was deceived. He was engaged in spiritual activities with Esau which were ungodly and Jacob had to rise up and override his father. So that broke the relationship and broke Isaac's authority over Jacob.
To really get the best training that you could possibly get, either in your physical or spiritual family, there really has to be a true submission with respect. It's a relationship, a solid relationship. When Jacob rose up and overrode the authority of Isaac, even though I believe the Lord told him to do it, it damaged that relationship to the point that he could not get adequate training from his father. Plus the fact that his brother wanted to kill him. So Jacob was sent to another father figure to teach him how to be a man; to teach him how to rule over an army of men; how to rule over this big household; how to be a father; how to be a leader. But the day came that the regenerated Adam within Jacob said, it's time to depart. It's time to separate because Laban was not an honest man. He cheated Jacob and took advantage of him. But Jacob submitted and he learned everything he had to learn until Adam stirred in him and said, it's time for you to leave. Now the King James Translation makes it sound like the only reason that he wanted to go was because he wasn't getting along with Laban. But no, it was much more than that. It was time for the righteous seed to be restored to the branch. Jacob and Esau had to have a meeting. Jacob had to fulfill his experience. The regenerated Adam had to come forth in him. That was the account of the angel with Jacob. Jacob's personality and carnal mind came under the authority of the indwelling regenerated Adam. Adam rose up and completely possessed him and gave him the victory over the men with the spiritual energy. Jacob would have never won that encounter, would have never survived that encounter if he wasn't completely in submission to the indwelling regenerated Adam. Jacob would have been destroyed and his whole household. You see, our strength is in submission to the indwelling Christ Jesus. Our strength is in dying to our own strength. Those of us who are in Christ Jesus, we have the strength to overcome everything through complete submission to the indwelling Christ Jesus.
So it wasn't just that Jacob was tired of being cheated. The regenerated Adam stirred in Jacob and said, it's time to go. I have other things for you to do. You have to meet with your brother. Now remember, Jacob's name was changed. Why was his name changed? He became a spiritual man. His name was changed from Jacob to Israel. What does that mean? It means that at that time Jacob entered into his spiritual ministry, that he was being prepared for all of these years. Jacob entered into his spiritual ministry and he received a new name; Israel. As I've told you many times, nothing happens in this world without a reason. This world is the stage. This visible world is the world where the thoughts and the ideas and the desires of the entities in the invisible world are played out. This world is the stage where the desires of Christ Jesus is played out. It's also the stage where the desires of Satan are played out. These desires of Satan and of Christ Jesus are played out through the same people; us, the ox. We, the present day manifestation of the primordial ox; that's who we are. In our physical bodies and in our personalities, we are the specific channel in this whole world of scenery and animals and buildings and everything that we see. Humanity, human beings, men are the specific channel through which the ideas, thoughts and desires of both Christ Jesus and Satan and Leviathan are played out.
Satan and Leviathan are in an eternal struggle with Christ Jesus which will last for the life of this age. As soon as that struggle between Satan and Leviathan and Christ Jesus ceases, that's the end of this age. The struggle is over who will express their thoughts, ideas and desires through humanity. That's the struggle. So Laban represents the preachers, the pastors, the head of the church today, that are ruling over the sons of God who have been sent to them to develop their personality. The sons of God who are submitted to a carnal church or to a pastor or a church that is operating through the influence of the Holy Spirit upon the carnal mind; these sons or the Christ that is being formed in these sons is not subject to these pastors. These young sons are not sent to fellowships that are being run by the carnal mind, even if the carnal mind is under the influence of the Holy Ghost. They're not sent there to have the Christ in them developed because a carnally minded man cannot nurture Christ in another man. Only Christ Jesus can nurture Christ in another man. But the nurturing of Christ requires a disciplined believer.
Just as in this physical world, we cannot send our children to school until they're mature enough to sit in their seat and obey the teachers; we see that the maturing of Christ in the individual is a very disciplined walk. That's what we do here. It's a walk that requires long hours of study and submission and the maturity to be able to admit that a sin has been revealed in you. So the young sons are under the carnally minded preachers until their skills of submission and study and commitment and faithfulness are developed. When these human skills are developed; ability to pay attention for long periods of time, abilities of concentration, faithfulness, commitment, submission and respect. All that can be developed in the young son in a church run by a preacher who is living out of his carnal mind, even though he's influenced by the Holy Spirit. But those carnally minded preachers are not there to train up Christ in that young son. So the day comes when the young sons in the carnal churches perceive the stirring of Christ Jesus within them. They perceive that it's time to move on. They perceive that it's time to enter into a new phase of their life, a spiritual phase of their life where the Christ that's being formed in them is going to be nourished and fed. They're now disciplined enough to sit in such a ministry. You can't do the same things in a ministry where Christ is being nurtured that you can do in the ministry where you're just being trained to have faith; hopefully. I don't know how much the churches train you these days to have good character, but that's what they're suppose to be doing, anyway.
So Jacob heard the call. We see that there were two camps within the one camp. Laban was the head of a camp. But there was another camp in the midst. The tribe of people or the camp of people that Laban was the ruler over was divided in two. Does anybody know what distinguished one group from the other? The group that were under Jacob had Abel, at least, revived in them. They were hearing from the Spirit of God. Laban and the people who were on his side were in their carnal mind. Laban had some character flaws. The King James Translation says that Jacob is the usurper and the thief. But Jacob is not the thief. Jacob is the one who laid hold of his brother's heel. That word, heel, means reflection. The reflection of the righteous seed appears in the waters of the energy of the creation. So Jacob laying hold of his brother's heel was the righteous seed laying hold of the waters of energy. As soon as the righteous seed, whose name is Abel, lays hold of those waters of energy of his brother, and secures him, Adam regenerates, because that is the definition of Adam; the righteous seed plus the energy waters of the creation. So Jacob is not a thief. Jacob served God. So the carnal mind just gets it backwards. But this is the conflict here. This is the reason Jacob left Laban because Christ Jesus stirred him up and Jacob wanted to take with him all of the people that had Abel revived in them. Jacob wanted to take with him all of the people that had Abel revived in them because they were going on this journey to meet Esau where they were going to touch the branch of the tree and there was going to be a collective regeneration of Adam. I'm not sure whether it was Abel or Adam in Jacob at this point. The Lord just told me it was the regenerated Adam, but it was imputed. It was imputed, which means Jacob was not possessing the waters for himself, but Michael from above was joining with the revived Abel in Jacob.
So for all intents and purposes, Jacob had a lot of authority, but Laban wouldn't recognize it. Laban looked at the worldly things. He looked at his money; he looked at his cattle; he looked at his sheep; he looked at his goat; he looked at all the people who served him; and he said to Jacob, you're no match for me, you just work for me. He was blinded to the fact that Adam was regenerated, that spiritual authority was on Jacob, and that that spiritual authority desired to revive Abel and regenerate Adam in all of Laban's household. Look, God is good. He wants to raise Christ from the dead in everyone He comes in contact with. So the resurrected Adam in Jacob wanted to expand himself throughout all of Laban's property and people. But Laban was hindering the move of the Spirit. I have to tell you, that in my opinion, the regenerated Adam did everything he could to bring Laban and his whole household into this blessing. But one of the things that you have to do to come into the blessing is to come under the authority. I've been praying for a long time, if the day ever should come, that the Lord should bring someone in here and the Lord should witness to me, that I be in submission. Now I can't be just listening to anything anybody says. I have to get the witness from the Lord that this person has a greater authority than I do and that the Lord is requiring me to submit to them. I pray if I ever face that test, that I take the victory, because you can only go so far until you submit to the authority that the Lord has placed you under. This is so common, that people have authority in the church. They have authority as the Holy Ghost influences their carnal mind and when Christ Jesus rises up in the younger son, the person or the preacher or the pastor or whoever it is, they cannot see it. The reason they cannot recognize the authority of Christ Jesus in the younger son is because their pride will not give up the power that they have enjoyed up until this time. They won't give it up.
It is at this point that a division takes place, that Christ Jesus says, okay, I've suffered long, I've given it as much as I'm going to give it. The man in the pulpit will not recognize the authority of the man and his congregation. They will not recognize that the man that He nurtured all of these years is now greater than he is. He will not recognize it. So it's time for a division. You know, I don't even know that it would be necessary when this happens in the natural; I don't even know that it would be necessary for that pastor to turn his church over to the young son. I don't even think that would be required. It's merely an acknowledgment of authority in the son. Then you have to ask the Lord what He wants you to do. I wouldn't go jumping to any conclusions in a situation like that, that the Lord wants the pastor to step down out of the pulpit and give the young son the pulpit. I wouldn't go drawing any conclusions like that. You have to take it a step at a time. You have to be willing in your heart, that if the Lord says, I want you to step down and I want you to give this church to that young son. You know that all you want is a strong witness from God that it's Him and you're willing to do it. But you see, you have to have faith in God that He's not going to waste you. You've been a pastor and you've served faithfully all of these years, the Lord is not going to leave you without some substance in your life. God is good. His ways are perfect. He's not a respecter of persons. He wants to mature you. But you must recognize that one greater than you has arrived; which I have never yet seen anybody do. I've never yet seen anybody do it. Their pride won't let them do it.
Laban wouldn't do it. He wouldn't even recognize the anointing on Jacob. Now Laban had to be capable of recognizing the anointing on Jacob because in one of these verses, Jacob says to Laban, after Laban has pursued Jacob and catches him and is threatening towards him because Jacob has stolen his gods, (we will talk about that when we get to it). Jacob says to Laban, look at me and recognize that it's Elohim in me. Recognize that it's Elohim in me and lay hold of your own fiery serpent and join us. That's what he said. Now we found out, just jumping to the New Testament for a minute, for another example, that John the Baptist, who was the one who baptized Jesus, said, I must decrease that He should increase. I believe that the Lord has told us in this ministry that John the Baptist was not physically beheaded by Herod and we do have some alternate translations on that. I don't know if I put it in the book or not, but as far as I'm concerned, the Lord has told me and I've had this revelation for a year now. The Lord has not corrected me in any way. That John, St. John the apostle, that the scripture says that Jesus loved, was John the Baptist. So John the Baptist gave up his whole ministry to follow Jesus, the Christ.
Maybe the Lord would ask you to give up your church. I don't know. The whole thing is the issue of your heart. Will you give up your power to follow God? Maybe you have to give up your source of income. Will you give up your source of income to follow God, if the Lord tells you to? Well, if you won't do it, maybe He'll shut your church down and you'll have to get a job anyway. I don't know. It doesn't pay to fight with God. Your whole warfare should be doing everything that you could do to have it confirmed to you that it is actually the Lord Jesus Christ who is requiring this of you; that you're not deceived and that you're not being subjected to an unholy spirit. But once you find out what the Lord wants from you, if you don't do it, you're only cheating yourself because you cannot lose with God. You cannot lose. It's just these carnal minds; they are just our worst worst worst enemy. We don't want to give up what we have and we deprive ourselves of something much greater because our carnal mind cannot even conceive of the greatness that the Lord has in store for us. Lack of faith, lack of trust, and disobedience.
So that's the bottom line of this account of Jacob and Laban. The anointing broke forth in Laban's camp and Laban was trying to kill it. After a season of reasoning with Laban, the regenerated Adam said to Jacob, it's time to depart, to go back to the land of your father and to live a spiritual life. This is what happened. The reason the Lord is giving us this message today is because this is what's happening in the church right now. There are many people in the church that Christ is being formed in, who are being held in bondage by carnal preachers who are holding on to them, who are exercising authority over them, who are lying to them, so that they can have their church or whatever their reason is.
The hour is at hand, says the Lord, that I will free my sons. That I will speak to them, that they will hear my voice and that they will depart from the Laban company. That's the message.
I'm going to start reading in the King James Translation in Genesis, chapter 30. I'll start with verse 25; And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban; send me away, that I may go unto my own place, and to my country. Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee. And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for your sake. And he said, appoint me thy wages, and I will give it. And he said unto him, thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me. For it was little which thou hast before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord has blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for my own house also? And he said, what shall I give thee? And Jacob said, thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou will do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock. I will pass through all thy flock today, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and the speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire. So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come from my hire before thy face: everyone that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me. And Laban said, behold, I would it might be according to thy word. And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons. And he set three days' journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban's flocks. And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chestnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted. And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle. And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's. And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.
Chapter 31; And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this glory. And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before. And the Lord said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee. And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field unto his flock. And said unto them, I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me. And ye know that with all my power I have served your father. And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me. If he said thus, the speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, the ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked. Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me. And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled. And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.
And he said, lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee. Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. I am the God of Bethel where thou anointedest the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred. And Rachel and Leah answered and said unto him, is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father's house? Are we not counted of him strangers? For he hath sold us, and hath quite devoured also our money. For all the riches which God hath taken from our father, that is our's, and our children's: now then, whatsoever God hath said unto thee, do. Then Jacob rose up, and set his sons and his wives upon camels; And he carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which he had gotten, the cattle of his getting, which he had gotten in Padanaram, for to go to Isaac his father in the land of Canaan. And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father's. And Jacob stole away unawares to Laban the Syrian, in that he told him not that he fled. And he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the river, and set his face toward the mount Gilead. And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob was fled.
And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days' journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead. And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad. Then Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead. And Laban said to Jacob, what hast thou done, that thou hast stolen away unawares to me, and carried away my daughters, as captives taken with the sword? Wherefore didst thou flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp? And hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters? Thou hast now done foolishly in so doing. It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad. And now, though thou wouldest needs be gone, because thou sore longedst after thy father's house, yet wherefore hast thou stolen my gods? And Jacob answered and said to Laban, because I was afraid: for I said, peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me.
With whomsoever thou findest thy gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern thou what is thine with me, and take it to thee. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them. And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found them not. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent. Now Rachel had taken the images, and put them in the camel's furniture, and sat upon them. And Laban searched all the tent, but found them not. And she said to her father, let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images. And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, what is my trespass? What is my sin, that thou hast so boldly pursued after me? Whereas thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? Set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both. This twenty years have I been with thee; thy ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and the rams of thy flock have I not eaten. That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.
Well, I don't think we're going to be going this far in our account. I will tell you this. I don't know how the Lord will have me end this account, but these images that Rachel stole; of course, she really didn't steal anything. I have been asking the Lord for a very long time what this word, teraphim, is. We also find this word, teraphim, in the book of Judges in the account of the Levite priest who is stealing the teraphim from some other household. The only definition that I can find of teraphim in the lexicons is that they're some kind of household god. Years ago when I first read this account in the book of Judges, I said what kind of household gods? Did the Hebrews have idols in their houses? I just came to the conclusion that they were reprobate Hebrews. But the Lord has told me today that the teraphim is the idol in the heart, brethren. We have idols in our heart center. What Laban was looking for in Rachel, and in Leah, and in all of the people caused Jacob to say to him, if you can find this teraphim, take the people; they're yours. What Jacob was saying was, you look in everybody's heart and that's the image of the regenerated Adam in there. It's either Adam or Abel. Let's stay with Abel. Abel is the image in their heart. The only ones that belong to you are the ones who have the image of the serpent in their heart.
This was way beyond Jacob and Laban. This is an allegory and whether it happened or not in the natural, I don't know. But this account between Jacob and Laban is an allegory of the conflict between Satan and Leviathan, saying to Christ Jesus, how dare you take my people. These are my people. And Christ Jesus is saying, so you think they're your people? Look at the idols in their heart. Whose image is engraved in their heart center? If you can find any one of my people that have an idol in their heart center that is in your image, you can have them; they're yours. Rachel sitting on the furniture of the camel or however it comes in the King James Translation; she was sitting on her carnal mind, brethren. She was high in Christ Jesus and her father entered into her tent. Tent is (if you're getting spiritual) tent is the skins of this body. He entered into Leah's tent. He entered into Rachel's tent. This typified Satan and Leviathan, looking for the image of jealousy; the image of the carnal mind in their heart center. And he couldn't find it in any one of them because everyone that ran with Jacob had the image of the Almighty in their heart center.
That's what this is about. I mean, do you really think that the bible is talking about Rachel stealing a household idol? I tell you all the time, I thank God for the King James Translation. It's a miracle what God has accomplished with the King James Translation. But it frequently does make the heroes of Christ look evil. Rachel was in Christ. Rachel had a personal relationship with the Lord. Rachel had a miracle. Rachel was barren and the Lord gave her children. Rachel was a servant of the Most High God. She didn't steal any household stone idol from her father. Why in the world would she do that? You see, it's not enough to read this King James Translation. You must think for yourself. It is not a lack of faith to think for yourself. It is not a lack of faith to say Rachel had this intense relationship with the Lord. She cried out to Jehovah and said, I'm barren and my heart is breaking. The Lord gave her children. Why would she steal a stone idol? Something is wrong with this picture.
So there's nothing wrong with questioning what you read in this bible. If you're in the right spirit and if you take it before Jesus Christ and say, Lord, this doesn't sound right to me. He will explain it to you. Rachel had an intense relationship with God Almighty and Laban, typifying Satan and Leviathan, wanted her back. But he couldn't touch her because the revived Abel was within her. She had an imputed Adam and I can't get into these details now. She had the personage of God in her. The idol, the engraving in her heart center was the nature of Almighty God and she was sitting upon or married: I've told you many times that Hebrew word translated, sitting upon, means married to. That's one of its legitimate translations. The power of God in her was married to her fiery serpent. The fiery serpent; her subconscious mind, her spiritual virginity, her very nature, was engraved in the image of the Most High. The image of the teraphim, the image of Satan and Leviathan, the serpent's image, could not be seen and he was forced to depart from her. Satan and Leviathan are forced to depart from you if they can find no sign of relationship in you. Every bone must be buried. You read in Ezekiel about the bones showing. They were marked until they could be buried. Every bone of the serpent's image of jealousy in us must be buried under Christ Jesus and we will be untouchable. Rachel was untouchable. Her father, Satan and Leviathan, found no legal ground to take her home.
Brethren, we are ascending and Satan and Leviathan wants to take us home. This is grow up time. If you think, whoever this message is for, if you think that you're going to live after the ways of the world and partake of a ministry like this and you think that when Satan and Leviathan comes for you, Jesus is going to do exploits to save you, you're believing a lie. You are absolutely mistaken. You are absolutely mistaken. The only exception being, that you are acknowledging sins that you have not yet overcome; that you are acknowledging them and that you are willing to change as the Lord helps you. That is the only exception. He'll fight for you on that basis. We see this in chapter 3 of the book of Zechariah. Joshua, the high priest saw Satan. Satan was standing on the right hand of Joshua. Joshua was filthy and dressed in rags. The Lord said, this is a brand pulled out of the fire; you must depart from him. This brethren, is the ministry of the sons of God. We, who have the strength to sit on our carnal minds, will go to those who have faith in Jesus Christ, who have done the best that they can, but are not strong enough to bury their carnal minds. We are about to actually challenge Satan and Leviathan on behalf of these people.
There's been some heavy preaching going on here about the manifestation of the sons, brethren. I don't know whether it's coming to pass tomorrow or next week or next month, but I have a lot of trouble believing it's going to be five or ten years from now. Whatever the Lord preaches in a ministry, that's what comes to pass, certainly within a couple of years, if not sooner. We will fight for the believers who do not have the strength to fight for themselves. The reason they don't have the strength to fight for themselves is that they have not adequately dealt with their sins, but for whatever reason, the Lord has had mercy on them. Either they didn't have the education, they didn't understand or they were ignorant. The Lord has to make that judgment because we only defend the people that the Lord sends us to. The intercession is in the spirit. The intercession is in the spirit. The deliverance of the people who aren't strong enough to help themselves comes forth as sons of God sit in a private house discussing the issue in Christ without condemnation; discussing the issue in righteousness and prays for that person and lends their strength to that person in the spirit. The person who's being helped may never even know what was done for them. It's a spiritual ministry. It's a supernatural ministry. It takes place through the spoken word and the activity and the manifestation of the Spirit that engraves us.
Praise the Lord. The Lord has told me that I'm not going to go any further on this message. He's going to give me time to look up the individual words. The true translation is really exciting. I don't know what's happened to Samson and Delilah, but I hope some day we'll get back to it. This is where the Lord is leading me now. Something is happening in the Spirit. As I research it, as I meditate on it, as I pray about it, as I preach it, as you hear it, as you meditate on this word, something is happening in the Spirit. You have to believe, that even though we're helping some people at this time, the main thrust of the work of the Lord is to raise up the people who will be the intercessors. He's building up and raising up the people who are going to be strong enough to sit on their carnal mind so that they can help the rest of the church, in accordance with Revelation, chapter 12. Because the woman is about to flee into the wilderness. There has to come an event or a series of events that are going to catapult the move of the Spirit into public view. There has to be an unveiling. There has to be a revelation, a separation of the people who are truly in the image of Christ Jesus.
The division must come. You see, right now it doesn't exist. There's no acknowledgment in the church world that there's a division at all. As a matter of fact, one of the ministries that the Lord sends me to, from time to time, insists we're preaching the same thing. I could be saying the exact opposite of what he's saying and he insists that we're preaching the same thing. So there has to be a public separation and a public identification between the doctrine of Christ and the false doctrine in the church and between the Spirit of Christ and the false spirit in the church. Why? Why does this have to come to pass? So the people who don't have the strength to sit on their own carnal mind, but may have enough recognition in Christ Jesus to choose the right choice if they could only see the choices. The people have got to see the choices, so that they can at least pray and say, Lord, which one? The average person in the church today does not see the choices.
Praise the Lord! What an exciting message. That whole account of the cattle with the branches from the trees; it's not the branches from the trees, from these trees out there. It's the branches of the tree of life as opposed to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. These rods; I had a revelation several years ago and I've been wondering about this for years now. I did get a word a couple of years ago that it had something to do with genetics, but I still didn't get it. It still didn't make any sense to me. This is a scripture that will go along with the teaching that came forth in a recent on-line meeting where the energy force of Christ Jesus, which is linear, pierces through the energy force of the carnal mind, which is spiralline and that the openings of the carnal mind are all clogged up with dirt. Believe it or not, that's what that whole account is about. It's about the linear pattern of the mind of the regenerated Adam in Jacob penetrating the people of Laban's tribe and seeding them and reviving Abel and bringing forth the life of God in them.
That's what it's all about. Who do you think the cattle are; the goats and the lambs and the cattle? Who do you think all these herds are? Brethren, humanity is a herd. It's talking about the people. It's talking about the people. Spiritually speaking, humanity is a herd of animals. The mind that we're seeded with is the mind that grows up in us and possesses us, unless there's an interference by another spirit. That's the war that's going on; the Spirit of Christ and Christ Jesus opposing Satan and Leviathan. They're both trying to seed the herd of humanity with their mind; the cattle. I know it's not very flattering, but the truth will set us free. Every time Jacob came in contact with the members of Laban's household, the linear pattern of the energy of the regenerated Adam in his mind, pierced into them and seeded them with the Spirit of Christ. Everyone who came near to him was seeded and everyone who came near to Laban stayed in their carnal mind. Laban said to Jacob, well, I know that I'm blessed because of you. That's what that's all about. So I'm just going to chat with you until the end of the tape. We won't go anymore on this message, but Lord willing, if I've heard Him correctly, I will have the translations of several verses for you on Sunday and we'll do this exciting translation. Are there any questions or comments on this message tonight which is really an introduction to this exciting study that we're about to do.
The conflict that is occurring is because the sons of God are separating from the nurse church which refuses to give up its authority over the sons. I've experienced this. I've had somebody say to me, Laban's own words, I know that this fellowship has been blessed because of you. I know there was one fellowship the Lord sent me to and it was dead. The Lord sent me there and the Spirit moved in that church. The pastor said, I know it's because of you, but he imputed evil motives to me for leaving. He said, I know that this anointing will not go when you leave. I was shocked when he said that to me because those thoughts had never even entered my mind, that the anointing would leave when I left. I was leaving because he had restricted the operation of the Spirit in me in his church. He must have had a word of knowledge because when I left, the anointing left with me. Praise the Lord!
Congregation: When you said teraphim, I got a quick image of the medical profession symbol, where they have the pole and two snakes wrapped around it. It made me think also of Moses when he was out in the wilderness.
Sheila: That's very interesting because for many years now, I've wanted to know the difference between the seraphim and the teraphim. They sound so much alike. Now can anybody tell us who the seraphim are? Can anybody give that definition?
Congregation: They're the fiery serpents.
Sheila: They're the fiery serpents that's married to Christ Jesus and ascended and surrounding the throne of God; surrounding the Spirit of Christ. The fiery serpent married to Christ Jesus, who is married to the Lord Jesus Christ and the fiery serpent, who is now a righteous woman. She's the woman of the scripture and she's righteous. Does anybody know why she's become righteous? She's righteous because she has entered into eternal judgment through union with Christ Jesus and the Spirit of judgment. The Spirit of judgment is an administration of the Spirit of Christ. The fiery serpent is perpetually in the lake of fire which keeps her holy, which keeps her from sin. So she's now a righteous woman, crying, holy, holy, holy, around the throne of God, because she is joined to the Spirit of judgment, which is the lake of fire. Eternal judgment; that's the truth of eternal judgment. So the seraphim is the fiery serpent married to Christ Jesus and glorified. I don't know if she's glorified or not. The teraphim is the fiery serpent who's married to Leviathan. The teraphim is the fiery serpent who's married to Leviathan, who's in the image of the serpent. I've looked that word up in every lexicon that I have, including Gesenius, who has some pretty deep understandings and the only thing I can get out of it is that it's some kind of a household idol. The teraphim is a mystery, you see. Well actually, the seraphim are a mystery, too. Not many of the lexicons can tell you much about the seraphim either. Both the seraphim and the teraphim are the fiery serpent in different conditions and in different timelines. The teraphim; the fiery serpent married to Leviathan. The seraphim; the fiery serpent married to Christ Jesus. Isn't that interesting? The scripture is just like one big puzzle and it just keeps unraveling and unraveling and unraveling. It's marvelous.
As I said earlier, Rachel was sitting upon the teraphim. That word, sitting, meaning married to. She was married to the teraphim. So the regenerated Adam in Rachel married the fiery serpent that was married to Leviathan. That's how she sat on the teraphim. The fiery serpent is the household of Leviathan. These mysterious scriptures in the New Testament, of Jesus saying, how can you enter into a strongman's house and steal his goods. The goods; that word means household. It means wife. The goods of the strongman is the fiery serpent. The strongman is Leviathan. It's Satan and Leviathan. You have to enter into his house, into the strongman's house, into Leviathan's house, so that you can marry his wife. So the seraphim swallows up the teraphim and forever we shall be with the Lord. Very very exciting. Praise the Lord! (End of Tape)
