XXX,
There were two deposits made to my personal account:
$A
$B
I assume that the $B is the tithe to LEM that you told me you were sending, so we will transfer that amount to the LEM account.
Is the $A a love offering for me? If not, please let XXX know how you want this amount applied.
God bless you.

Hi Pastor Vitale,
I intended the 2 payments to be for you, they are tithes and offering this is what I believe that the Lord wanted me to do. Is there any reason why you transferred it to Lem?
Regards,
XXX

XXX,
Tithes are $10% of your gross income (before taxes). All tithes go to the Ministry.
Offerings go to the Ministry also, unless they are specifically marked as a love offering for pastor.
It is not lawful to give me a part of the 10% tithe of your gross income as a love offering.
All offerings, free-will offerings (no particular reason), first-fruits offerings (the first tithe on a new venture - this is in addition to the general tithe. So, the first tithe on the profit of a new venture should be 20% total) and love offerings are sums that are over and above your tithe.
I transferred the money you wired to me to the Ministry because I found an email from you that said they were tithes.
If in view of the above information, you still want some of these funds to go to me as a love offering, the only way to do this, would be to cancel the October automatic payment to LEM and send your love offering to my personal account.
I am sorry for the confusion, and sincerely appreciate your good intentions towards me.
God bless you.
Love, Pastor Vitale
