When we left here on Wednesday night, I thought that the Lord had told me to speak to the congregation about the reality of the spirit dwelling within the flesh of a man. However, as I was driving here this morning, I did not have a strong feeling to speak about it so I asked the Lord if He still wanted me to do it.
When I came in, this sister told me that she received phone calls from two people that had heard the tape, and were attacking me personally. The first woman could not seem to even get to listen to the tape. She claimed that she did not like my voice. She is the second person that does not like my voice, but Jesus likes my voice. Actually, this is the voice of Jesus, and if you cannot get past the voice of His flesh, brethren, you are not going to hear what He has to say.
We have had messages (as early as maybe three or four months ago) which say that if God has something for you, and He leads you to that place, and you cannot receive it because there is something that offends you, the chances that He is going to manifest it in an area where you will not be offended is highly unlikely.
If God leads you to a place, and He says, Drink, and you say that you do not like the form of the cup and you leave, you have lost it, brethren. God could do anything because He is sovereign, but the general rule that I know of is that you have lost it. If you cannot drink because you do not like the cup, then you have been barred from the Garden of Eden by the flaming sword that God has put up to stop you.
If you cannot drink because you do not like the cup, it means that there is something wrong with your thinking. If God says to you, drink, and you say, I cannot, because I do not like the cup, God is right and you are wrong.
As we have been speaking about in these services, God is never wrong. God is always right, and if you are not in agreement with God, automatically you are wrong. I do not even care what the issue is, if you are not in agreement with God, you are wrong. We have found out in this ministry a long time ago that when it comes to the things of God, deep spiritual truths or a deep move of the spirit, that God will put up flaming swords in front of you to try you.
You do not move on in God without paying the price, brethren, and the price is what God wants from you. What He wants from you is all of your unrighteousness. He wants it from you. He wants you to give it up, He wants you to lay it down, and He wants you to say, I am going to do it your way Lord. That is what he wants.
If God leads you to a place, and you have any reason at all to believe that it is God, and there is something there that you cannot deal with, God will permit a flaming sword to be set up in front of you.
I really hope this gets into your spirit because this is really important as we move on in God. Some of us have known this for at least two, if not three years. This is what will happen time, and time, and time again. God will permit a flaming sword to be set up in front of you. Recall, the Cherubim had flaming swords blocking the return of the fallen adam to the Garden of Eden.
If there is a flaming sword in front of something that God calls you to, and you cannot get past it, it is because something in your fallen nature is keeping you out. God is not keeping you out. Something in your fallen nature is keeping you out. Do you understand this principle of the flaming swords?
Let me get back to what I started to say at the beginning. What the Lord wanted me to emphasize to you is this spiritual principle of the invisible spirit manifesting in the soul life and the physical flesh of a man. I remind you that the Scripture tells us that the Pharisees stumbled because they could not perceive the Lord Jesus Christ was the Son of God.
All they saw was a man who was born of a natural woman and a natural man (Jesus was not born of a natural man but that is how it appeared to them). His father was Joseph, His mother was Mary and, to boot, He was illegitimate. Not only was He illegitimate, but He came from Galilee and What good thing comes from Galilee? If they had just stopped to study it out a little further, they would have found out that He really came from Nazareth. He was born in Nazareth, He was raised in Galilee.
What I am trying to say to you, brethren, is that as we get closer and closer to the promises of God, this walk becomes an obstacle course.
The original salvation experience is open to everybody. It is out there, anybody can hear the message. Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross; He shed His blood for all mankind. Salvation is open to you, come and drink of the water. That message is available to the world, but once you get past that, it is no longer available to the world.
Paul said, Let us go on to perfection if the Lord permit. If the Lord permit.... You need a special dispensation from God to go on to perfection. It is not for the masses. I am sorry if you do not like that, but it is not for the masses. It is with permission and a special dispensation of God, and He is going to try you every step of the way.
If God is speaking through me, and you do not like my voice, the loss is yours. You have not hurt me, and you have not hurt God, but you have lost, because something is manifesting in your mind that is blocking the truth of the word of God.
You are manifesting against the truth of the word of God. You think the issue is my voice. It is not my voice, neither is it because I am a woman, or because you do not believe the message. You are just manifesting against the truth of the word of God.
We had a word in the last service or the service before. The Lord said to us, Remember the Pharisees!
The Pharisees were the house of God in the world at the time that the Son manifested, and they did not recognize Him. They were so caught up in their religious rituals that they could not perceive the Son of God. He fulfilled every Scripture, every promise that would identify Him and yet they denied that it was Him.
The same thing is happening to you today. It is happening today. The Son has returned to the earth in many members. I am not saying it is just me. He has returned to the earth in many members, and you have to discern Him. This sister and I were in a fellowship over a year ago, and a prophecy came forth to the whole congregation, Pray that the Lord give you the ability to discern the Son when He manifests, that you do not fall away.
I tell you, not one person in that congregation perceived the Son. I am not telling you that I am the Son. I am telling you that He is inside of me, and when He feels like it, He manifests through me. When He does not feel like it, I am a natural woman, just like you. But when He feels like it, He comes forth and you people have to obtain in your understanding and lay hold of the ability to discern whether it is me or whether it is the Son.
If I say something that you do not like, and it is the Son and you reject it, you have rejected God. You have to discern the Son spiritually. I am not suggesting to you that this is easy. This is very hard, but if you ask, He will give it to you, but you have to lay down all of your manifestations.
You cannot say, It is God, when you like what I say, and, when you do not like what I say, It is not God. It does not work that way. When He manifests as God through me, it is Him speaking, and when He does not, it is me. God manifests through me at will, but in particular, when I am sitting up here.
Seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, I never know when it is coming. You better think twice before you draw a conclusion that this is not God speaking to you, especially when I am sitting in a position of spiritual authority, You better pray seriously about it. I am not telling you that I cannot manifest a natural manifestation while I am in this position. I can, it is possible, I am not perfect.
The Son has not joined himself to me yet, but it is a very fine line, and if you want to go on with God, you better not make any quick decisions about who is talking to you when I am sitting up here. It is dangerous, this is no game.
Do you people know what you are called to? Do you know what you are called to? You are called to spiritual authority and power to deliver the weak, and the humble, and the afflicted of the earth. You are not going to get it if you cannot tell whether this is the natural me or God. Forget it.
This is one of the basic lessons in your training. The question is, Who is talking? Will the real God please stand up? You have to learn how to do it; you have to learn how to do it. This is not kindergarten, and the word to you is, Pray and ask God who is talking through me, before you criticize me. This is the word of the Lord to you.
I am going to cut it because I really do not want to offend you or push you too hard, but this is very serious. I do not know how to emphasize to you how serious it is. This is the word of the Lord to you. Before you criticize me, you had better pray.
There is nothing special about me, I am just me, but for some reason God decided to give me spiritual authority. I tell you all the time that He said He was going to use the weak things of the world, and He was going to use the unwise of the world, and He was going to use the things of the world that would make a mockery of all the wisdom of the world.
Well, here I am. I am female, I have a squeaky voice, I never graduated college, I did not go to Bible school, I do not belong to a denomination, and I am preaching some crazy message about the Son of God being birthed in you.
However, before you start criticizing me in all of my weaknesses you had better pray. I have all kinds of infirmities, all kinds of infirmities. Those of you that know me know that I have been suffering from infirmities for thirty years, but before you decide to reject what I say up here, you better pray, brethren, and I do not mean one quick prayer that you get the answer in five minutes.
You better hold on to your tongues, and you better hold on to your decisions. This has nothing to do with me. This is for you. If you reject what God says, you lose. I do not lose. I am up here serving God, Lord willing, until the end of my days if He lets me. Maybe we are moving into the age where our days will not end, I do not know, but I have found out a secret, brethren.
I have found out a secret and it is this. Nothing on this earth, or nothing in this world, matters except that God says that this is my beloved Son who has done well. That is all that matters to me.
If I am manifesting God and you conflict with me, and you leave, or you are mad at me, I am sorry, but I am telling you right now, that by the grace of God I am immovable. I do not care what you do. If I have got it in my head that this is what God told me, forget it, I will not bend.
That is the word of the Lord to you, and by the time I was driving over here, I did not even know if I was going to deliver it. That is it. I just pray that you are all make it. I just pray that you all make it.
I do not know if you really understand what is waiting for you, brethren, but nothing in this world is worth it. Nothing is worth it. If I have offended you, and it was really my fault, and you cannot forgive me, and therefore leave, you are going to lose this opportunity to receive what God has for you, and it is not worth it. I am telling you nothing is worth it.
We can enjoy life; we can enjoy our family life. The key is, when God brings you to a place where you have to choose, nothing matters. It is all right to like clothes and to go out to dinner; and all that is fine until God says, It is interfering with your walk with Me.
Right now, God has called everybody here to this ministry so that you could be trained up to manifest the power of God, and the person that He sent to teach you is this weak person. I do not tell you that I am anything else, but if you do not get what God has for you here, because I offend you, I really doubt that you are going to get it anywhere.
I really doubt it, because I have some knowledge of my God. I have been through hell with men that have taught me. Some of you know that I have been to hell and back with men that have taught me, and I did not pull out until God released me. I respected them every step of the way to the best of my ability and, if I could not, I threw myself on the mercy of God, and He helped me.
This is all for you, this is not for me. You cannot hurt me. I just bless you, I love you all, and I am doing the very best that I can for you, to teach you everything that God has shown me, and to impart to you what you need, by His spirit, to rise to this high calling.
Pray about it. Just be careful, because our own carnal mind will destroy us. It will destroy us, and it will lie to us. We have to pray about everything. That is our safety, to pray about everything.
Sometimes I think the answers to things are so obvious, and I say, Lord, I am just putting it before you, I just cannot risk making mistakes anymore. I am just too far gone along the path that I cannot risk being set back from here, just because I did not say four words, Lord is it you? It is not worth it. I love you all, God bless you.
PROPHECY
Thus saith the Spirit of the living God unto my church, unto my called out ones, indeed as I have spoken to you this day, I shall repeat myself again, and I am calling you to a high place. Indeed, great and mighty works will be wrought by your hand, saith the living God. You need to submit unto Me and to my son as I revealed him to you. I am faithful, saith God, I will reveal my son unto you. Place everything at my feet, place every manifestation at my feet.
Capture it in your minds and present it unto me, and I am sure to deliver you, saith God, for indeed eye hath not seen, ear hath not heard, neither has entered into the heart of man the things that I have prepared for those who love Me. It is not easy to love Me. It is not a carnal love. It is a love that says you must give your entire being unto Me, body, soul, and spirit, saith God. I shall help thee. It is waiting for you, saith God, it is waiting. Indeed, many are kept away by My flaming sword, saith God, but it need not be so in your case. Present your manifestations unto me, and I am sure to deliver thee.
At the last service, God gave us a second witness to some of the concepts of creation that he has shown us from Genesis 2:19-20.
That second witness was in Psalm 139:13-16, and I am going to read you the Alternate Translation of Psalm 139:13-16.
Psalm 139:13, For God has established me with all provision in the eternal realm of the spirit by joining Himself to my inmost soul or mind, He has interwoven me with the fertile parts of the earth.
14, He cast His son out of heavens, stripped Him of all spiritual authority and power and made a natural man out of Him so that He would be in a spiritual condition where He could be molded and changed so that the seed of God within Him, who were as yet undeveloped and had never experienced being joined to God, could come forth and be formed into distinguished individuals with their own name. In the fullness of time he would deliver them from fear, which is nothing more than separation from God, and He would do that by joining Himself to each and every one of them at the end of the age. Indeed, His children were separated out from Him in accordance with the manner which would provide their immature fearful souls with prosperity, blessings and all good things until the fulfillment of the promise to restore them to the eternal realm of God.
15, God gave His reproductive strength to me (this is Adam speaking) from his unlimited source of supply when He formed me under the cover of His spirit, and my spiritual life was then separated into many parts and interwoven with the realm of death.
I remind you that, at first, Adam was interwoven with the fertile parts of the earth, which was that part of the spirit given to the soul as a gift from God to prepare it to receive the seed of the Lord, which would bring forth the Christ.
First, Adam was interwoven with the fertile parts of the earth with the spirit of God that was given to be his reproductive parts, and then the two together were woven together with the realm of death, or Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, and that the entire creation was called cattle.
You may recall from Genesis 2:20, they were called cattle. The soul, spirit, and Satanic realm (the unconscious part of the carnal mind) woven together are referred to as Cattle.
16, God's eyes saw my unformed mass and the bill of sale that He gave to Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, which was a witness that He sold me to him, had the names of all my members written in it who were formed within me in the time period called day, or lust, or passion, before anyone of them experienced the life of God. The Lord told me that He wanted me to re-emphasize to you a little more deeply this point of being sold, so I have two Scriptures for you, Judges 4:2,3 and Judges 10:7.
The Lord God sold Israel into the hand of Jabin, king of Canaan, and for twenty years He mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
Judges 4:2, And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
3, And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel. (KJV)
When God sells you, He sells you into captivity. The implication of being sold by God is that you are sent into captivity.
Judges 10:7. And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and He sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon. (KJV)
Although God's sons committed no crime, He nevertheless sold them into captivity. We know that His purpose was to give life to the earth. I know when I was a new Christian, I read in Isaiah 53 that it pleased God to bruise His son, and I was very frustrated by that. How can it please anyone to bruise their son?
I could see that Jesus needed to be crucified, but could not see how it pleased God to do so. In my immature mind, I think I was angry at God. I certainly held my opinion up against God's. How could you do such a thing like that? Well, it pleased God to sell His son into captivity, to strip him of all spiritual power so that we might have life.
John 15:13, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (KJV)
Greater love hath no man.... Hallelujah. Then God gave His only begotten son.... Hallelujah, Glory to God!
John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. (KJV)
We are still going on with a basic review. Genesis 2, I will read in the Alternate Translation Verses 19 and 20.
Genesis 2:19, And the Lord God propelled the spiritual life known as plants and herbs into the ground which was already forming the man, and the pressure caused by their entrance into the earth caused the earth to rise up and cleave unto them, and God changed their names when the earth covered them. He called the plants, covered with earth, beasts of the field, and He called the herbs, covered with earth, the fowl of heaven, and God brought them into their proper place within Adam, and watched as Adam performed the work that the Lord God had given him to do. And this was the work. He divided himself into many parts, so that each plant and each herb would no longer be lumped together with him, but would have an individuality of its own, and Adam, the whole of the creation, marked each plant and herb which were now called beasts of the field and fowl of heaven and gave a mark of identification to each human soul, beast, and each human spirit, fowl. And Adam wove each living soul together with the human spirit, and then wove the soul and spirit together with the Satanic realm, the unconscious part of the carnal mind.
He is doing the same thing to each part of him that he did with himself. Each one of us, each member, is going through everything that the whole Adam is going through. Adam wove himself with the spirit and then with the Satanic realm, the unconscious part of the carnal mind.
Each member in his body was woven together with a spirit and with the Satanic realm, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. We have everything that the whole Adam had.
When you are pregnant, the seed in your body has every potential to be a grown man. When your baby was in your womb, he had everything that he has now. He had a heart, he had a brain, he had a liver, but it was immature, and that was the situation at this time.
God was forming the creation. This body is not the creation. The creation is the mind of man, the personality, the soul. The body is just a house, and every member of the whole creation had the potential to be a fully mature spiritual man, but it was immature. It could not sustain itself at this point.
Genesis 2:20, And Adam called the living creature made of soul, spirit, and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, cattle. The term cattle indicates there is a third element there. Why does he not just call it soul, or why does he not just call it spirit, or why does he not call it a living beast, or why does he not just call it the fowl of the air? He changed the name to indicate that there is something different about the cattle than from the beast of the field or the living creature.
We determined last week that since the cattle was never formed of the ground, it was indicating, by injecting a new name for all these parts of the creation, that he had woven the soul and the spirit together with the Satanic realm, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, but he did not want the name Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, because Satan is not in the memory of God.
Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is a basic underlying foundation which we need to appear in the realm of appearance, but he is not in the memory of God. He will not be glorified, he will not be redeemed.
God does not even acknowledge him as having any personality or anything to say. He is hidden; he is the realm of hidden things. He is Hades. That is what he is. He is necessary when he is in his proper place. In his proper place, he is not only harmless, he is beneficial to the creation, but God does not call him by name. God does not give him an identity.
Nevertheless, to indicate that he is present, he no longer says, beasts of the field and fowls of heaven. He changes the name to cattle, to indicate a change, but He is still addressing His creation. He does not openly acknowledge the Satanic realm, the unconscious part of the carnal mind.
The spiritual life previously known as plants and herbs were now mute beasts because they were buried in the earth. When they were buried in the earth, they lost their spiritual authority to merely speak and have their needs met. Adam marked them clearly so that when it came time for God to call them back from the depths of the earth, He would be able to find them.
Adam, who was now pregnant with many fetuses, had no mechanism within him to pass these fetuses out from him so that their total separation and individuality could be accomplished. We all know that, that mechanism that he needed to become a many-membered soul was Eve.
Eve was not a woman like you or me. She was a part of the spiritual entity known as the living soul which enabled Adam to separate out his many members that they might be individuals.
I have been asking everybody for information on reproduction in the last few meetings, and we really have not had that much of it. However, the Lord has blessed us today. He gave a brother a technical study on reproduction and this is what he gave us.
There are two kinds of reproduction. There is asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction takes place within one entity. You do not need a male and a female. The sexual reproduction requires a male and female element.
Here are some examples of asexual reproduction. Some plants and animals bud and grow new individuals out of their sides. Yeast, a one-celled plant reproduces this way. It just pops a bud out of its side, and all of a sudden there are two of it. Mushrooms produce a single cell which grows into a new plant called a spore, and it has only one parent. One parent produces one child.
Many jelly fish produce egg and sperm which grows into a polyp which attaches to the ocean bottom, and when it is mature it buds and forms a jelly fish. I put that into the wrong category; that is sexual.
We have some examples of sexual reproduction. We are going to apply these methods of reproduction to the creation, and we are going to see that God used more than one form of reproduction when He was forming a creation. Some plants and animals have more than one method of reproduction.
For example, a rose produces seeds which come from both egg and sperm. It may also send out small branches which root into the ground, thus forming new rose bushes. It depends on the place and condition. A rose bush can reproduce in either one of these two ways.
We are going to see that God used more than one method of reproduction in forming the creation. Other organisms used two kinds of reproduction, but they wind up with different kinds of offspring.
The rose bush whether it uses the egg and the sperm or the branch that shoots out, still gives you a rose, but there are other kinds of organisms that produce two different kinds of offspring. Other organisms use two kinds of reproduction, and each kind reproduces a different kind of offspring. This is called alteration of generations.
I guess what that must mean in a plant is that in one growing season you will get one form of the fruit, or the flower, or the offspring, and in the alternate growing season, you get a different kind of offspring. There is no example here so I do not know what that is, but that is very interesting, I did not know that.
From this point forward, I cut out the notes that we are going to apply to God's creation.
Some plants reproduce from themselves by stolon which, like the rose bush, puts out a little shoot or branch, as it crawls along the ground and roots into the ground and just grows a new bush. As the branch touches the ground, it forms roots and becomes a new plant.
That spoke to me of the son of God within Adam. We know that the sons of God were spiritual entities in the heavenlies. God led them into Adam, and as they touched the soul of the earth of Adam, the ground rose up and clave unto them. It is just like a little branch coming out.
We know that Jesus Christ is the Branch so a branch is a type of spiritual reproduction. When it hit the earth of Adam's soul, new groups rose up, new plants rose up. It is not exact, but that was what I saw in it when I read it.
A one-celled plant.... this is the formation of Eve; I am relating this to the formation of Eve. A one-celled plant or animal that reproduces asexually grows to a certain size and then divides in two, each half exactly like the other. Neither half can be called parent or child. They are simply two individuals instead of one.
Some many-celled organisms also reproduce asexually; for example, a flat worm. I am suggesting that, that is what happened to Adam when God wanted to make half of him into a part that would accommodate reproduction. This is an organism that has only one cell, he just split it in two. He made one male, and He made one female, and I believe that is what happened in the case of Adam and Eve.
I believe there was a change of the method of reproduction after the flood. This was before the flood, the formation of Cain, Abel, Seth and others before the flood.
There is a bug called an Aphid. During the summer, Aphid females give birth to the young without mating. There are no males. This is called parthenogenesis.
Adam was one entity, and all of a sudden he was filled with fetuses. We established that last week. He did not mate; they just spontaneously came forth from within him. We know that God led the sons of God into the living soul, but for purposes of this study, He did not mate with anybody. He was one entity, and then there were many. There was no mating.
We see God forming his creation in accordance with the reproductive processes of the aphid. We see this type of reproduction in a bug called an Aphid. This is very humiliating, brethren. If you have any pride, this should kick it.
There is another cycle to the aphid reproduction. I just told you that in the summer there are no males, and the females reproduce without mating. After the summer, the males appear. The implication of after the summer is this. As time moves on and the creation progresses, males appear, and that is what I suggest happened after the flood. All of a sudden, males appeared.
Up until the flood, there was one entity. We do not really know what he looked like. I believe he was in the flesh at that point, but we do not know what he looked like. There were no men and women. There was just one kind of person, and he was bringing forth life. He was reproducing himself without the kind of mating that we have today. There were no males.
The person that lived on the face of the earth before the flood had both male and female organs in the flesh. (This is my opinion, and you do not have to agree with me if you do not want to.) It was not until after the flood that, as the creation continued to descend, males appeared on the earth.
In accordance with our type, the aphid, males appeared after the summer. In the fall, males appear. Then the male and females mate, and the females lay eggs. Obviously, we do not lay eggs. This is not exact, but the concept is that there is a female type in the natural that reproduces without mating, and later on, as time goes by, males appear.
It is not important whether you agree with me or not. I just happen to believe that.
I think we have one more here, and this is also a witness to reproduction after the flood.
A fern is a type of plant that produces spores. This is asexual reproduction. Then they fall to the ground and grow into little heart-shaped structures which are called gametophytes. They are either male or female, and the sperm from the male gametophyte unites with the egg from the female.
This is sexual reproduction. There is asexual and sexual in the same plant. First, there is asexual. There is just one, and they drop off a whole series of spores, some male and some female, and then they unite. It says here that the male gametophyte unites with the egg from the female plant and forms a zygote, and the zygote grows into a new plant.
I do not know if you recall, but we have already mentioned this in these meetings. I did call Adam a zygote. We talked about human reproduction and I said that when you have an ovarian egg that is fertilized by a male sperm, you have a zygote. Science says that when they are joined they become one; they are literally one cell, the zygote. They are not two cells.
I am suggesting to you that after God separated Adam in half and formed Eve and brought them back together again, they were joined and once again, became one cell, only that now, Adam had the part, the structure, the apparatus to birth out the many members.
They were still one cell. Science and biology says that when a female egg is fertilized that, that cell which is the egg becomes one cell with the sperm, the zygote, and the next thing that happens in the formation of the fetus is that it starts to multiply.
The zygote which is the one cell formed of the egg and the sperm divides, and becomes an embryo. It becomes two, the two becomes four, the four becomes eight, and it continues to multiply until the embryo becomes a fetus, and that is exactly what God did with Adam. He was one, He made him two, the two came together and became one again, and then parthenogenesis started, they started dividing.
One became two, two became four, and we see the types of this in nature. I think this is really close. The fern plant is not much better than being an aphid, but the fern plant is pretty close to what we see in the Scripture.
The fern produces spores which fall to the ground, the ground of the soul, and they grow into little heart shape structures. Each herb and beast of the field that fell into the soul of Adam became covered with earth, (this is pretty close), and then the male and the female mated, although that is not really what happened over there.
I guess we should get off of this. It is not exact, but it is close enough. We just thank the Lord for all that information.
I woke up this morning, and the Lord told me to add in at this point, a study on the words translated life. We have three words in the Greek and three words in the Hebrew that are translated life. He asked me to put this study in.
We have three forms of life; we have the soul life, the spirit life, and then we have a word that is just life, and it refers to the basic life principle. A plant is alive, it is a living thing. A blade of grass is alive, it is a living thing, and that is the third word life.
The third word translated life merely describes the life of plants. It is just a basic life principle. We have the basic life principle, then the life of the soul, and the life of the spirit. That is what we have; three forms of life, plant life, soul life, and spirit life.
In the Greek, the word for soul life is Strong's #5590, psuche, and it means the life of the earth, the intellect, the emotions and the animal life, which is Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, all wrapped up together. The Hebrew equivalent is Nefesh.
We spoke about this last week. We said that where the King James in Genesis 2:19 talks about every living creature, that it was the word for living soul. I said it was Nefesh. That is the word, Strong's #5315, and it means the soul life of man.
The next type is spirit. The Greek is pneuma, and it is Strong's #4151. Basically, what it means is breath without matter. The soul is life with matter, our flesh is matter. The spirit is life without matter. God has no form or shape. That is what this creation is all about.
The Hebrew equivalent is Strong's #7307, and it is Ruach. It means spirit or breath of life without matter.
The third kind of life in the Greek is called zoe life, and it is Strong's #2222. It means mere vitality, and the plants have this kind of life. Its equivalent in the Hebrew is chay, #2416. It means life, living thing and is the word used to translate beast in beast of the field in Genesis 2, #2416, beast of the field.
The way God expresses what kind of life form He is talking about is that He modifies the word zoe. Zoe is the Greek word for life, so if He wants to say that this is the soul life, for example, He will say, This is the life of the flesh, but the word for life does not change. We discussed this, one or two messages ago.
He will either modify it by the word flesh or the word spirit. That is how you know what kind of life it is. This is the life of the flesh, this is the life of the spirit, and then there is just plain life. Does everyone understand that?
Let us just go back for a minute to Genesis 2:7, when God says, And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. (KJV)
The word translated living is chay, which is the equivalent of zoe. This is the basic plant life principle, and the word soul is Nefesh. What He is saying here is, I gave the man life, and the kind of life that I gave him was soul life. I did not give him spirit life, I gave him soul life.
The beast of the field is the chay, just merely the life principle. The beast of the field is merely the life principle. It does not have a soul. It is not modified by the word Nefesh. The beasts of the field are just the life principle, and the reason for that is that the soul that they have is Adam's soul. They do not have their own soul.
God only created one living soul. Every son of God does not have his own soul. We all have our own spark of the spiritual life of God, but we are all partakers of the soul of Adam. There was only one living soul.
In Genesis 2:19-20 when God talks about the beasts of the field, He uses the basic life form which is chay or zoe in the Greek, and it is not modified. It is plant life, and it is sharing the life of the soul that it has, with Adam. Does everybody understand that?
There is one more point in this area that God wanted me to make because I know there has been some teaching (I have been a recipient of it myself), to the effect that the Greek word bios means the life in this flesh, and that the Greek word zoe is the life of God. I personally have been taught this teaching.
However, it is wrong, and we are going to straighten that out right now. The Greek word bios, #979 in Strong's, is that by which life is sustained. It is referring to resources or wealth and referring to a period or course of life, this present existence, this present world system.
According to the Greek, food, clothing, and shelter could be translated bios. This is because we cannot live without it. It is life to us, food is life to us. This present world system is represented by the word bios. It has nothing to do with the deep spiritual truth of zoe, or psuche, or pneuma.
In the Greek, it has nothing to do with the deep spiritual truth of spirit or soul. It is referring to this world system and what we need in this world system to survive. It has nothing to do with spiritual truth. It is a practical word, and it has been taught that this word bios, refers to the soul life and that zoe is the life of God.
Zoe is not the life of God. Zoe is not the life of God, and this is how this error came to pass. If you look in your Strong's concordance, and you look up the word life, through the whole book of Revelation, with maybe one exception, every time God uses the word life, it is zoe, Strong's #2222.
The person that was teaching this drew the conclusion that zoe was the life of God, but zoe merely means basic life principle, and it has to be modified for you to understand what kind of life the Scripture is talking about. You have to look at the adjective. Is it the soul life or is it the spirit life? I have some examples for you.
I John 3:17 says, Whosoever has this world's good and seeth his brother have need and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him. The word good is the word bios. In He who has the world's goods and does not help his brother, the word good is the word bios. It has nothing to do with animal life, and it has nothing to do with soul life.
I Peter 4:3 says, For the past time of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles.... The word translated life is the Greek word bios. It is talking about, in other words, the life that we lived before we were saved, the life of this existence. It is not a spiritual word. It is the life of this existence.
We cannot contrast the word bios with the word zoe, saying one is the soul life and the other is the life of God. It is incorrect.
I have some examples for you of how zoe must be modified to find out which form of life we are talking about. We have zoe alone, we have zoe psuche, which is the soul life, and we have zoe pneuma which is the life of the spirit. Adam was a zoe psuche, he was the life of the soul.
I have heard it preached that Adam had the soul life and the life of God. Adam did not have the soul life and the life of God. He had life, and the form of life that he had was the soul life because the word that means life is modified by the word soul. He did not have the life of God until the imputed anointing was imputed to him in the Garden.
I have some references here for you. Revelation 22:19 says, the book of life, and in the Greek this is zoe , Strong's #2222, and that is because a book has no life. It is the basic life principle. It is not a soul life, and it is not a spirit life. It is a book in which is written those who are alive. It is Strong's #2222.
Revelation 22:17 says, the water of life. It is #2222. It is life. What kind of life is it? It is the water of life. What does water represent? Water represents the soul, so we are talking about the soul life. The word life is modified by the word water, which means the soul. We are talking about the soul life.
I John 1:1 says, the word of life. The word life is zoe. It is #2222. What kind of word is it? It is the word of life, and the word of life is God. Jesus said, My words are spirit, and my words are life. The life of God is zoe pneuma.
Zoe merely means basic life principle. A blade of grass has zoe. The question is, what kind of life is it?
The Lord wanted that straightened out. Zoe life is not God life. Let me just repeat it one more time. We have zoe life, basic plant life, zoe psuche which is the life of the soul, and zoe pneuma which is the life of the spirit. The life of God is zoe pneuma. It is not zoe alone. It is zoe pneuma.
We are going to re-do Genesis 2:21-25 in more depth.
Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22, And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23, And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24, Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25, And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. (KJV)
The Hebrew word translated sleep is Strong's #3462, and it means languid, to lack strength, to be weak. It means the suspension of consciousness during which the powers of the body are restored.
The word sleep relates directly to having a body, and I am suggesting to you that at least one of the purposes for which Adam was put to sleep was so that he would be brought into a spiritual condition where he could receive a body.
God suspended Adam's spiritual life and placed him in a position where he could develop on a lower realm for the purpose of multiplying into many members. This was necessary because it was God's plan to give each member of the living soul, a body, or a house to live in until the soul brought forth or gave birth to the Christ child.
The living soul could not exist without a cover. It either has to have a cover of God which was the Garden of Eden, or it has to have a body otherwise the soul dies. God removed the creation, the living soul, from the Garden for the purposes of getting it a body and multiplication.
Actually, He removed him from the Garden of Eden for the purposes of multiplication and then the birthing of the Christ child in each member. This could not happen in the eternal realm of God, because the eternal realm of God never changes.
When the mind, or the living soul, or the creation (they are all the same), was put out of the Garden, they had to have something to cover it so that it did not die, and what God gave it was a body. What we are is a member of one living soul, and we live in a body.
If you are hearing this tape, it is most likely you have the Holy Spirit, and either you have been fertilized by the spirit of God, or you are about to be fertilized by the spirit of God and are bringing forth the son of God in the earth, the soul. When he is fully mature, we will not need this body anymore. He will join to our soul, and thus cover our soul with the spiritual life of the son.
We will no longer need these bodies to stay alive. They are going to fall off like a circumcised seed, and we are going to fly away into the heavenlies, with all spiritual power, glory to God. This life will be nothing but a memory and a dream.
The Hebrew word translated deep sleep comes from a root which means impure, and it means to be in a state of great inertness. Adam could not have gone to sleep if he was not separated from God. Separation from God is a state of impurity.
Webster's says that inert means not having the power to move oneself, to be inactive, very slow to move or act, and it means spiritual death. We know that in this world, these bodies are subject to gravity, and that if we did not have the force of gravity pulling us down to the earth and giving our bodies weight, we would be flying away in the sky. There is gravity in this realm.
There is no gravity in the realm of the spirit. Adam is light, He is porous, He walks through walls, and this realm does not stop Him. When God lowered Adam, he became thick, he became slow, he became subject to gravity, and he became bound to the earth.
It is as if you would take a spiritual entity and put lead weighted shoes on him and drop him down to the earth. He is earth bound. There is only one way back up, brethren, and that is to birth the son. There is no other way back up. It is the only way out of these bodies. The death of the body is not the way to do it, brethren.
The word sleep also means to be dry, which indicates a loss of the Spirit of God. When Adam went to sleep, he became dry; he lost the Spirit of God. God released his son to the Satanic realms to be at the mercy of the Satanic realm.
I have a witness for you in The Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 29:10, For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep and hath closed your eyes, the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
11, And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed. (KJV)
We are dealing with Genesis 2:21. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept, and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh thereof.
Sleep implies spiritual darkness, spiritual darkness. The only reason we have what we have is that we have at least the Holy Spirit. Adam died, he died. His Father left him and he died. The word cause means to be delivered up unto the power of someone, and the word fall means to be cast down.
We discussed at the last meeting that the word rib is not really a rib. It is really a side. God literally took half of Adam; that is what he did. He took one of his sides. The word closed means to deliver again to the power of others. The words instead of means underneath.
This is the Alternate Translation of Verse 21.
Genesis 2:21, And the Lord God delivered Adam up to the power of the lower realms by divorcing him, disjoining his spirit from him, and spiritual weakness and spiritual unconsciousness was cast down upon Adam, and he became dry, impure, without power, and he died. (AT)
God took one of Adam's sides and delivered him down to yet a weaker condition. When He cut him in half, he became even weaker. If you are cut in half, you become weaker. Adam is descending.
Verse 22, And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman and brought her unto the man. This word made, is different than formed, and it is different than created. God created the heavens and the earth, and he formed the man, and he formed the beasts of the field and the fowls of heaven, but he made Eve.
The word made means to build, to erect, to actually build a building. The word create means to carve out basic material. We likened it to going into the forest and cutting down a tree. The word formed means to squeeze into shape under great pressure, like you have clay in your hands and you squeeze it into a form. The word build means to take materials and build a house.
This is the word that we would use to build a house. I have an interesting translation here for you. For this word made, Gesenius says, under this number Strong's #1129, Gesenius' third note, number 3 says, A woman is said to build her house when she has offspring. If a woman has offspring, the Hebrew idiom is that she has built her house, she has continued her substance.
That is what it means, and Genesis 16:2 says, And Sarai said unto Abram, behold now the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee go into unto my maid, it may be that I may obtain children by her.
The literal translation in the Interlinear of this phrase, it may be that I may obtain children by her, is, it may be that I may be built by her, that I may have children by the aid of this handmaid, and that word made in God made Eve, is to build. That is the Hebrew word. I checked it out in the Hebrew. Sarai said to Abram, It may be that I may be built by her. She wanted to be build by her maid. Abram should give her maid children.
When God made Eve, He was building Adam's house, he was building Adam's house. According to Strong's, the word woman is ish-shaw', naw-sheem'. The first form is the feminine of #376 or #582; the second form is an irregular plural; a woman (used in the same wide sense as H582).
Strong's #376 merely means an individual. It is contracted for #582 (or perhaps rather from an unused root meaning to be extant); a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation.)
Strong's #582 means mortal. It is from #605; properly a mortal (and thus differing from the more dignified #120); hence a man in general (singly or collectively). It is often unexpressed in the English Version, especially when used in apposition with another word.
This word woman is the feminine of the word that means individual and mortal.
It does not really mean woman at this stage of the game.
I really believe that the people that put the concordance together made a feminine form of this word, but I am convinced that, at this stage of the creation, it was not feminine or masculine. We had a spiritual entity. It did not consist of men and women like now.
What the word indicates is that there was one individual. God took half of it, and he made two individuals. That is what it means. Maybe one was the reproductive parts and one was not, but the primary idea, at this stage of the development of the creation, was that there was one initially and God made two. It was not a woman like you and me. Does everybody understand that?
Verse 22, KJV, And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman.
Alternate Translation, And out of the side which the Lord God had taken from man, He built a structure or apparatus which would enable Adam to birth his children into a separate life from him, and He called it woman, and brought her unto the man.
That word unto means into, and if you study it out in the Hebrew, He literally brought her inside the man. They became one. It is like I would say to you, I took that cake, and I put it into my mouth. What happened after I put it into my mouth? I did not spit it out, but I swallowed it down, and it became one with me.
He separated Adam, and as we said last week, this is a procedure called cell division. Cell division is for the specific purpose of forming tissue to suit a particular function. He took half of Adam, He made his reproductive parts, and He stuck them back inside of him. That is what He did.
Verse 23, KJV, And Adam said, this is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man. The word bone throughout the Scripture typifies spirit, and I am going to prove that to you.
Bone is the strong part, it is the substance. We know that the bone marrow is inside of the bone. Bone marrow is soft, and we know that the life of the flesh is in the blood, so the bone typifies the spirit. The spirit is strong. It is stronger than the soul realm, and there is power in the spiritual realm.
In the Scriptures, spirit is typified by something that is hard, and it is wrapped around the soft part to protect it. We know that the soul life is soft or weak in comparison to the realm of the spirit. We know that if we did not have bones, we could not stand up on our feet.
There are people in this world that have a soul life, they have blood, everything is fine, but their bones do not work. Some people are born with soft bones. I believe there is a condition in which the bone is soft; the bones never harden so they cannot stand up.
If we do not have spiritual bones, bones typifying the spirit, if we do not have the life of the spirit, there is no way we are ever going to stand up. The soul man is never going to stand up. We have thousands, if not millions, of people in this world practicing witchcraft. They want spiritual power. It is not going to work. They cannot stand up without the power of God.
The spiritual power of God will enable us to stand up in an erect position and be a full grown spiritual man with the ability to speak our very needs into existence. I do not care if there is a flood, I do not care if there is a fire, I do not care if there is a famine, I do not care if there is lack of rain, when I say, food, food appears. I say, roast beef, and roast beef appears, I say raiment for my body, and raiment for my body appears.
This is why God renamed the sons of God that had left the heavenlies and entered into the soul of Adam, cattle. They became mute beasts. They could no longer say, I need xyz and see it appear. They are now totally dependent on the mercy of God. We touched on this last week.
Everything we have, brethren, is the mercy of God. Most of the people do not know it. They do not know that they have food because God is merciful on them, or that they have a bed to sleep in because God is merciful on them. We are totally dependent in this soul realm, and man thinks that he has harnessed the forces of nature, but he is deceived, he is deceived.
We are powerless, and one of the first things that we find out when God calls us, is that we are powerless. One of the first things that He does is show us our powerlessness, and the stronger we are in the natural, the harder we have to get beat. That is what the Scripture means when it says, Oh ye weak, arise and dry the tears from your eyes, for the Lord God has come to save you. He is coming first for the weak.
You may have suffered in this life, in this present system of things, but in the realm of the spirit you shall be mighty by the power of God. You will not have any trouble submitting to God, because you are going to say, Oh God, help me! The successful business man, or the man that is powerful in this body, say an athlete, or anyone who has been successful in an area of life, they are not going to say, Oh God, help me!
They are going to say, I am not going to give up my business, I am not going to give up my body building, I am not going to give up my man, I am not going to give up my woman, I am fine. Oh yes? Watch out, you are going to find out you are not fine. We are powerless, brethren. Everything we have that makes our life good is a gift from God.
The bone is strong. It helps us to stand erect, and it typifies the spirit. Now, let us talk about the flesh. Adam said that she is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. The word flesh is not the word for living soul. It is Strong's #1320. It is not the word for living soul. It represents a type of life, a lifestyle, and it is a different word.
According to Strong's, the Hebrew word, basar, translated flesh, #1320 is from #1319; flesh (from its freshness); by extension body, person; also (by euphemism) the pudenda of a man.
It means the soul life, it means the flesh, and Thayer's says that it signifies the entire nature of man, sense and reason, without the Holy Spirit. It refers to what man is without God, what man is without God.
It is referring to a more spiritual aspect than saying, you are a living soul. When you say you are a living soul, it refers to what you are, your substance, but we are talking about spiritual things in this instance when he said, She is flesh of my flesh. He was talking about what her spiritual makeup was, not so much what her substance was. It is a different Hebrew word.
I have two witnesses for you on that. Romans 8:3, KJV, says, For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh. Now, this word flesh is not referring to your substance. It is referring to your human nature. That is a better way to express it.
We have one Hebrew word, Nefesh, describing the soul which is your substance and another Hebrew word, basar, meaning the nature of the person who is a soul. When Adam said, She is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, he was saying that she has the same spirit and nature that I have. The spirit that I have, that is the spirit she has. The nature that I have, that is the nature that she has. Whatever I am, she is.
Galatians 5:19, KJV, says, Now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, etc, etc. We are not talking about substance; we are talking about nature.
Eve had the same nature as Adam. He said, She is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh, and she shall be called woman, because she was taken out man.
Here is the Alternate Translation. And Adam said, that which the Lord formed from me has the same spirit that I do, and the same soul. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man.
Verse 24, KJV, Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh. Now, the word father simply means first ancestor. We know that throughout the Scriptures, it is not at all uncommon for someone to talk about his grandfather, or his great grandfather, or his great, great grandfather as his father.
We know that the Samaritan woman that Jesus met at the well, said, Our father Jacob watered at this well. She named Jacob, an ancestor who watered his cattle at this well, and she called him her father.
When the Scripture talks about our father, it means our first ancestor. That means our first ancestor is God, and I have a flash for you, brethren, the first ancestor of the whole human race is God.
We are told in the Gospel of Luke that the father of Adam was God. Check it out before you beat on your neighbor. Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
The Hebrew word for mother here is Strong's #517. We discussed this last week and said that in Job 1:21, Job said that he came out of his mother's womb, and he will return unto it, indicating that the earth is the womb of all mankind.
Our Father is God, and our mother is the womb of the earth but, technically, we know that, that part of the earth that brought us forth was the spirit that God imparted to the earth to give her ability to bring us forth.
Technically, God is our Father, and God is our Mother. The pure spirit form of God was the Father, and the spirit of God, which was a part of the living soul, was our Mother. He is our Father, and He is our Mother. He is our first ancestor, He is the first and the last, and He is everything. He is the first Adam, He is the last Adam. He is the emerging Christ, and He is the entire creation, and He was, is, and shall be, the same.
Verse 24, Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. The Hebrew word translated cleave is Strong's #1692, and it means to stick like glue.
Ezekiel 3:26 says, I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth that thou shalt be dumb. When God brought Eve to Adam, they literally became one flesh. When we talk about men and women in this world system, Paul says, You are one flesh, if you are married. You do not even have to be married, you are one flesh if you go to bed with one another; you are one flesh. This is a great mystery.
In the early parts of the creation, they literally were one flesh, because there was no body. There was just soul so they literally became one again. God split Adam in half. He reformed the one half into Eve, and then He made them one again. He became one entity with the female and male reproductive organs.
The word wife is the same word as woman. It does not mean wife in the context that we know wife. It merely means a female individual. I guess this is an Alternate Translation I wrote down. And the male and female cells were joined to one another, and became the zygote of the human race. They became the zygote from which the human race was brought forth.
Alternate Translation, Verse 24, Therefore shall a man separate from his original ancestor and the one who bore him and shall literally be made one with the individual which was originally a part of him, and they shall be one flesh. They shall be one living soul.
The last verse, is Verse 25, And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed. There is the word, naked, Strong's #5903, used several times in Genesis 3. It is used in Genesis 3:7, 10 and 11 and it means nude. I want to point out that it is different from the word translated naked in Genesis 2:25. This one is #6174.
I am going to start out now with the Hebrew word translated naked in Genesis 2:25, Strong's #6174. It means ragged or badly clad, and again we have a note from Gesenius. His note under this number which is #6174 says that this word naked is used to express one who having taken off his mantle, goes clad only in his tunic.
Apparently in Bible days, a man had one piece of clothing close to his body and then another piece of clothing over that, and he was considered naked if he took the outer piece of clothing off.
This is a type of our spiritual nature. We are spirit, we are soul, and then we have a body. We have two coverings also. Our spirit has a soul, and it has a body. If we take our body off we are naked, indeed, and we cannot live, unless we get to the point where the Christ is joined to us.
This is a type. The Scripture says, And they were both naked, the man and his wife, but they were not ashamed. They were spirit, and they had a soul wrapped around them. We know that a soul cannot live without either the spirit of God or without a body. The Scripture says that they were not ashamed. The origin of this Hebrew word translated ashamed, is paleness and terror.
In one of our studies, we saw that when the life of the son was propelled into the earth which was grey and pale, it became red. The word means blood in the face. The life of God gave life to the earth. It became red, so the concept of paleness would imply the lack of the life of God. The other word that it originates from is terror. We established in the last service that to be frightened is a manifestation of separation from God. We saw that perfect love casts out all fear, and that perfect love, indeed, is the manifestation of the Son of God.
There is no perfect love in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sings, he dances, he prophesies, he speaks in tongues, he gives words of knowledge, words of wisdom, he can perform healing and deliverance, and he can work miracles. He does not manifest the love of God. The love of God is in the Son. The Son of God permits you to love with the love of God. Even when you have the Son (we spoke about this earlier), sometimes He manifests, and sometimes He does not, until he is joined to you.
If you have the Son and you are afraid, you should know without thinking about it for a second that the Son of God is not manifested in you, even though you have Him. You cannot be manifesting the Son and be afraid; it is impossible. He is sleeping in the bottom of the ship if you are afraid, and what you have to do is get down there and beat on His pillow and tell Him that you are being overtaken by the storm. He has to rise up and put the soul realm in you underfoot for that fear to leave you.
If there is anyone who normally goes around telling someone that is fearful, that it is ungodly to be fearful, and is condemning them for it, I am trying to explain to you that the people who are afraid have no control over it. What they need is a manifestation of the Son of God in their soul, which will swallow up the fear. Stop condemning the people. I plead with you, stop condemning the people. I am talking to all you people out there, anyone listening to this tape; I do not think anyone here is doing this.
The Son is the answer to every problem we have. I do not care what your problem is; whatever it is, we need the Son.
When I was newly saved, I had a lot of people telling me, All you need is Jesus, and I used to say to them, I believe you, but what do you mean by all I need is Jesus. I have received Jesus and I still have this problem, and I still have that problem, and I still have that problem. I believe you but it is not working, what is wrong?
What is wrong is that when you have the experience that we call salvation, you have embarked upon a journey that, Lord willing, will end in the Christ being birthed in you, and this could be years down the line, but when He is birthed in you, He is all you need. So stop condemning the people and help them. We are supposed to strengthen one another until we get to the place where we could help ourselves.
I do not know where that came from. What are we up to here?
We are into naked and nude. The origin of the Hebrew word translated ashamed comes from a word that means paleness and terror. To be ashamed would indicate that they are pale, they do not have the life of God, and that they are afraid, they do not have the life of God. To be ashamed is to not have the life of God, or you can have the life of God, and it may not be manifesting in you.
It is not enough to have it, brethren. It has to be manifesting in you, and we are told in the book of Hebrews that it is possible to have the Son of God, and to be so evil in your heart that you tread Him underfoot. We are told that in the book of Hebrews. You can fall away until you are joined.
The only one that I know of that is joined is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Right down to the line, brethren, you have to work with the Lord, you have to desire righteousness and despise evil. You have to work to put evil underfoot by the power of God within you, not by a religious work. We are told in the book of Hebrews that you can tread the Son of God underfoot.
We are told that they were naked, and they were not ashamed. They did not have their outer cover on. They did not have a body, but they had the life of God. They did not have fear because they were still, in some degree, joined to the Lord. They had ragged covers on.
Remember that this word naked means ragged and badly clad. They did not have it all, but they had not sinned yet. Remember, the spirit of God had removed Himself from them, but they had not sinned yet, and because they had not sinned yet, they still had the protection of the law.
We touched on this last week. Even though we are a fallen creation, we see people in this earth who come from generations of people that have strived to follow the will of God. They have raised their children in the admonition of the Lord. They do not steal, they do not lie, they respect their parents, and they obey the laws to the best of their ability, in the natural.
We know that we are not responsible for our thoughts when we are under the law. We are just responsible for our behavior. We see back-roads, simple people who for generations had gone to Church and praised God. They worked hard, they were honest, they never cheated anybody, and they led decent lives. There was no great tragedy in their lives, because they were following the law of God.
I am suggesting to you that Adam had been separated from the Lord. He was scantily clad, he was in a weak spiritual condition, but because he had not yet sinned, he was not ashamed and his covering was the law.
I just want to end this with a quick comparison to the word translated naked down in Genesis 3:7, 10 and 11, and that word is Strong's #5903. It means to be utterly naked and helpless, and it is not the same word naked in Chapter 2:25.
I always thought that when I read Genesis 2:25 where it says, And they were both naked, but they were not ashamed (before they sinned) and I got down to Genesis 3, where it says, they knew they were naked (after they sinned) I figured it was the opposite of the word in Genesis 2:25, but it is not.
The word in Chapter 3 means that they were utterly naked and helpless.
I have an Alternate Translation on Genesis 2:25, KJV, And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.
Alternate Translation And they were both spiritually incomplete, but they were not without the life of God or without His comforting presence which exists in his law.
I happen to be a firm believer in family living. I see nothing wrong with several generations living in one house; it depends on your society or what your circumstances are. I just have one comment to make about it. You have to live in peace.
If you are a married couple and you go to live in your parent's house, you are not the head of your own household. Your father and your mother are the head of the household. If you are willing to live with your parents, for whatever reasons, maybe you want to save money so that you can buy a house in ten years, whatever your reason is, you are not the head of your household.
If you are a married man and you want to go live in your parent's house, I see nothing wrong with it, but you are not the head of your house. Your parents are the head of your house, and your children have to be raised that way, and your wife has to be in agreement it. The minute you, your wife, or your children are in rebellion against your parents, you are in trouble.
My only comment to living with your parents is this. I do not think it is ungodly, but you would not want to be doing something like that unless you heard from God, and, apparently, you heard from God.
I really think the idea in this country that you must separate from your parents is such an aberration. It is such an emotional sickness to feel you must separate from your parents. It is just really sick. That is my opinion.
We have people all over the place living alone, children living alone, single women living alone. If you want to live alone, you could live alone. I am not saying that there is anything ungodly about living alone. I am saying that, in my opinion, it is not an ideal situation for a human being because we need each other, we need people.
However, let us face it; living together takes a meek and humble spirit. You have to learn to submit; otherwise you would have warfare in the house. Who wants to live in a state of warfare? It is very ungodly, and you can get sick from it. It could be greatly destructive to your body, but even so, it is destructive spiritually.
You have to make your plans, establish your agreement. If it is family, it is easy, because you know who is the elder and you live by it and submit to one another.
There is just no cohesiveness in the families at all anymore, and what is happening is that the people have become desperately lonely. The result of the desperate loneliness is drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual promiscuity, and all kinds of ungodly things that they are trying to fill that emptiness in their soul with. That emptiness could possibly be filled in a close family life.
If you involve yourself in a close family life, you have to put up with everybody's garbage. Not that you have to take it, but you have to learn how to deal with it in a Godly way. You do not have to take it; you do not have to be abused. There is a Godly way to deal with it, and there is an ungodly way to deal with it.
A lot of people in this country today are immature, they have emotional problems, and when someone tries to dominate them or someone tries to manifest some ungodly behavior towards them, they cannot deal with it. It is not that they do not want to deal with it, they do not know how to deal with it, because this is something that you learn when you grow up in an extended family.
You see a mother dealing with your grandmother. You see a mother dealing with your aunt who is a pain. You learn how to do it, and you learn how to do it with love. You learn how to do it so that it does not aggravate you to the point of a heart attack.
If you never saw anybody do it, and you do not have a PhD in psychology, how are you supposed to know how to do it? We are not supposed to need a PhD in psychology to know all this stuff. We are supposed to learn it when we are growing up, but we are not learning it.
People run away because somebody bugs them. They run away because they cannot deal with their mother bugging them. I am not knocking anybody, I had this problem, but I am telling you that God has delivered me, He has delivered me. I am telling you, brethren, it can be done.
I do not care what your problem is, just hold on. Deliverance is not always in three months, but if you persevere and call on the name of the Lord, He will do it.
If you have a desire to live with a relative, and you cannot because you have a problem.... if you think that she has a problem and you do not, you are wrong. I do not care what your mother's problem is, or any relative, anybody, if you cannot deal with it, the problem is yours. The problem is not the other person.
The righteous thing, in accordance with my understanding of Bible principles, is not to attempt to change the other person. God has to change the other person. We have to deal with the problem, and if we cannot deal with the problem, I do not care how long they are, we have failed, we have failed.
I am convinced that one of the major rules of living in a community form of life, is mind your business, get your nose out of there, and get the blinders on your eyes, and do not offer advice unless you are asked for it. It could be done, but the blessings are manifold when God does it. God will do it, God will do it.
God is restoring us in every level, and I just get so excited when I see this. It was about three years ago, I was sitting in my car on my lunch hour, and I was listening to a tape (I cannot even remember the name of the preacher, I think he came from the west somewhere). I never forgot what he said.
It was like when the Holy Spirit quickens something to you, and it is like you got punched in the head, and what He said to me was, If you have not figured it out yet, the only thing that matters in this world is people. That is the only thing that matters. Everything else is icing on the cake.
If you do not have warm, close, loving, rewarding relationships, you are very poor. I do not care how much money you have, or how many possessions you have, you are poor. You are poverty stricken. And you cannot have warm, close, loving relationships by visiting with people only once a month because you do not like what they tell you.
I did not like it when my mother-in-law dared to tell me how to put my makeup on. Well, she told me how to put my makeup on, so what. You say, Yes, mom, and you do what you want, but at that time I said, Oh, my God, she told me how to put my makeup on. Who does she think she is?
It is not important. You have to concentrate on the good and minimize what annoys you. You should look for what is good in them, and block out everything else to the best of your ability. It is worth it.
