We must have victory in our lives! In this message, we will discuss the signs of spiritual life and the signs of growth in God. Have you ever heard it preached that I am dead to sin, and incapable of sin? Let us review Romans, Chapter 6, Verses 1 – 22.
Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Romans 6:2; God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
How can those of us who are dead to sin live any longer therein? Brethren, it is a spiritual truth that when Christ appears in your members, then it is the death of sin in you. The death is not completely accomplished. It is a potential transfer.
We now have the privilege of having a place to run to where Satan will not have dominion over us; however, it is not a completed act.
Sin is painful. Why would anyone choose to live in sin? Still it is a difficult warfare to walk in righteousness while your carnal mind is still alive before the enmity in your flesh has been slain.
If you are trying to live out of righteousness before the enmity in your flesh has been slain, he will make war against you.
I will go that last mile with anyone that is willing to wage the warfare. I will knock myself out for you; however, for those who are not willing to fight, then there is nothing that I could do for you.
I have had experience with other people where Jesus has something to say about it, and He keeps bringing the person back. That is another instance.
I know you cannot expect me to carry your whole load. You must carry your own load, and then I will go through with you. I am just a human being. I am not God. I can only do so much. You have got to pull your own weight. You must fight this good fight of faith. Glory to God!
We have a whole group of preachers out there saying there is no fight. What about the good fight of faith? What do they do with all these scriptures? They throw them away!
Romans 6:3; Know ye not, that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Is not this an interesting scripture? It is completely misunderstood in the Church world!
Do you not know that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ are baptized into His death? Glory to God! Alleluia!!!
We were not baptized into the man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We were baptized into His Glorified Soul. The Glorified Christ that has ascended on high, and is now a Spirit that is pouring out upon all flesh has baptized us. Glory to God!
Baptism means complete immersion. There are two stages of this baptism: The baptism with the Holy Spirit is not the baptism into Jesus Christ, but a sprinkling that falls upon our soul and the baptism into Christ is the formation of Christ in us. This Christ influences our entire soul, spirit and body, and we are completely immersed in Him. The Christ that is formed in us vibrates out beyond our adamic soul, beyond our body, and immerses our entire life and spiritual being in His Spirit. That is the baptism into Jesus Christ.
Brethren, most of the Christians I know are not in this condition. They have been baptized with the Holy Spirit; however, the life of Christ has not influenced them, spirit, soul and body. Their entire life is not immersed in the life of Christ.
For those of us who are baptized into Christ, Christ has begun to be formed in us and is influencing every aspect of our lives.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth had an adamic soul that died. If you look up the appropriate word in the Greek, you will find out that His Spirit did not die on the cross, but His soul life died on the cross.
When Christ begins to be formed in us, and goes forth to influence every aspect of our lives, then our adamic soul life and the carnal mind that is a part of it must die. We are not completely baptized into Christ until our adamic soul is completely dead. We must go all the way that Jesus went. The Christ in Him controlled the carnal mind so much so that it killed it, slew it! The Christ in the man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, slew the enmity in his flesh, and of the twain he made one new man.
If Christ is being formed in you, then you must start joining with Christ to wage war against your own carnal mind to destroy it. You cannot be in Christ and not die to the flesh.
We have a whole Church world out there today that think they can have both. They think they can have Christ and not die to the flesh. They shall be ashamed at the hour of His appearance.
Jesus Christ is swallowing up the adamic mind. Jesus Christ that is on the inside will go to the outside, and force everything else inward.
Christ on the outside is completely covering everything that is inside, including our adamic mind, and eventually our body. This is the process of the swallowing up of Satan.
Romans 6:4; Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death...
I hear it preached in the Church today that Jesus died for us instead of us. It is not true! They will quote the scripture that we are buried with Him by baptism unto death, and they think it is just like something out there in the realm of the spirit. No!
In order for Christ in us to be our everything, then our adamic soul must die as did Christ's adamic soul. The Scripture tells us that Jesus Christ is our brother. He had to identify with us, and therefore, was born as a man.
What do you think the temptation was when Satan tempted Jesus?
Jesus had a sin nature; however but He brought it under complete, control, and authority through the holiness in Him.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth was a man, one of the many human beings that are a part of the living soul. The only difference between Jesus and everyone else is that He was born with a fertilized human spirit. He was born with Christ in him, and because he was born with Christ in him, he had authority over the adamic soul and was able to crucify the adamic soul. Jesus Christ of Nazareth was only one of those members. Now the whole adamic soul must die! It died in the man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and now must die in every other human being alive. The adamic soul, ruled by Satan, must die for Christ to be everything, and eventually for the Father to be all in all.
Look at the diagram. The circle represents the whole universe.
The plan of God to destroy this living soul will cause Christ to be formed in every one of these members. When Christ is formed in each and every one of these members, it is their job, their honor, to slay the enmity in their flesh. This is the great harvest that Jesus talked about!
He did not die instead of us, but with us. Our bodies do not have to be crucified, but our soul has to be crucified by Christ. It is a battle called, the Armageddon.
The whole living soul must die. He will die through being joined to the Christ. Of the twain there will be made one new man.
Christ is being joined to adam. During the joining, adam will die, and the creation of God will be formed. This process is known as the slaying of the enmity in the flesh. Of the twain he made one new man, the creation of God. It has only happened in one man so far, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
We have not been completely created yet. First He formed the animals. Then, He formed the soul man. Now, He is forming the spiritual man. It is a painful process; however, when this process is completed, then God's work of the creation will be fulfilled.
He lets us experience sin, so that if we are ever tempted, then we will know better. It is not a head knowledge saying, Johnnie, do not touch the stove because you will get burnt. We now know what it is like, and we will fight it with everything that we have because we know what it can do. I know that God is righteous, and therefore, there must be a very good reason for it.
I know that He has promised me that in the morning, after the manchild is born, there shall be joy. I look forward to that.
Our adamic soul life must be crucified with Christ, so that Christ in us can rule our whole vessel, spirit, soul and body. Glory to God! Alleluia !!!
Romans 6:4; Therefore we are buried with him by baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
We cannot walk in newness of life unless the adamic flesh is put down. The enmity in the flesh must be killed as he will never live with you in friendship!
I remind you of our Old Testament type where God said, go in and take the land and kill everybody. He said, if you do not destroy them, they will be briars and thorns in your eyes.
Satan is the god of the carnal mind, and the ruler of this world system. The reality of our spiritual condition and current state of existence is that we are the offspring of Satan, adamic men, ruled by Satan.
We are manifestations of Satan that have been granted grace. We have not yet been converted into Christ, and translated into the kingdom of heaven. We appear in this world system by the carnal mind.
When we are in Christ, then we are subject to the kingdom of God; however, if we are not subject to the kingdom of God, then we are subject to Satan, and his property.
Without Christ, we are weaker than him; however, when the Lord comes into our lives He gives us a special dispensation which includes overcoming power.
God does not have to kill us. All the Lord has to do is withdraw His grace, and then we are right back under Satan's foot! He can simply take His hand off of us, and then we will default to the soul realm.
It is just like two countries that are at war. The victorious country comes in, and tells the prisoners of the concentration camp, here is the food and clothing. Just stay here.
They may stay in that condition for five years, still in the concentration camp, being fed and clothed, and blessed and educated in many ways. Then all of a sudden, the victorious army pulls out and they are right back where they were. They had not yet been converted into the promise land. They had not yet gotten their work experience.
It is not time for us to move you out into the promise land, into America, where you are going to be safe and able to work and lead a decent life! The whole Church is in this fantasy! They do not understand that it has not happened to us yet. Neither is it going to happen after this body dies. The warfare is right here, in our minds, and we must fight! Glory to God!
Romans 6:5; For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
This Scripture is talking about full stature. The key word is resurrection.
If our soul is crucified as His soul, then we become a part of the adamic soul that is crucified, and we shall appear as His resurrection. If our soul is crucified, then Christ will appear in us; however, Christ will not appear if our soul is not crucified. You cannot have one without the other. He is appearing little by little by little.
Christ will not be resurrected in us, until the flesh is slain a little bit at a time. His full appearance, known as resurrection cannot come to pass unless our adamic soul is destroyed. He will not appear in full stature while our adamic soul is still alive.
Romans 6:6; Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Who is our old man?
It is our adamic soul. It is crucified with him. The portion of the adamic soul that is in us must be crucified as well as a portion of the adamic soul that was in Him, so that the body of sin may be destroyed! Amen!
We have had teaching here recently that this word, body, does not refer only to this physical human body. If you look it up in the Greek, it really means a container; an object that holds something. It is typified in prophesy as a cup.
We found that this physical body is a container of the adamic soul. The adamic soul is the body or the container of the soul of Christ.
When Paul talks about the body of sin, he is not talking about our physical bodies. It is a hidden way of giving this revelation to those that have ears to hear.
When the adamic soul is destroyed and crucified with Christ, then the body of sin might be destroyed. It is the body of sin, and it must be destroyed so that we should not serve sin.
Brethren, the truth of the Scriptures are hidden. They are only for those that have ears to hear. Babies would choke on this. God has put it in code. Apparently, it has some very strong effects on a lot of people. It is only for those that are of full age to hear this.
How is God going to be glorified if a baby Christian hears this, and it scares them away from Christianity so that they do not serve God at all? I have preached about the destruction of the soul in my meetings, and people have run out hysterical. To me it is nothing because I have been living it for years.
Who is your new man?
Your new man is Christ. Know that your old man, your adamic soul is crucified with Him, or with Christ, or with the adamic soul that is in Christ, so that the body of sin, your adamic soul, which is a sinful cup that holds the Christ might be destroyed, so that we should not serve him.
Romans 6:7; For he that is dead is freed from sin.
When sin is dead, then we are free from it. If Christ's adamic soul is dead, and our adamic soul is dead as Christ is, then we shall also live with Christ.
Romans 6:8; Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live
with him:
When our adamic soul dies, then we shall be able to live out of Christ.
Romans 6:9; Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
He is raised from the dead when the adamic soul is destroyed. If God does not raise him from the dead at that moment, then we should be no more. We need a soul to appear in this world system. God must be in there raising the Christ in us to full stature at the same time that the body of sin in us is destroyed. God is faithful to do it.
Brethren, death has dominion over us. This is a spiritual reality in our lives. It is being preached as if it has happened already; however, it has not happened yet. Your soul must die before you can be raised from the dead. For those that refuse to hear this word, it is coming on you as a thief in the night. Thank God for it, because there are those that are just going to be slain.
Romans 6:10; For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
He died unto sin. It was his sinful soul life that died. Jesus Christ of Nazareth inherited a soul from his mother, from the line of David, which was a fallen soul. Its state of being was sin, but he died unto that sin. He refused to live out of it. For one to die unto something, one must have been alive to it at one time. Glory to God!
Jesus Christ of Nazareth had a natural adamic soul that he inherited from his mother. He overcame that soul. He did it by a process very similar to those of us that are struggling with this now.
He died unto sin once. This is a mystical verse. I would suspect there may be some deep meaning in it that is not obvious.
Romans 6:11; Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Paul is saying, live out of it, act, believe, and think as though you were no longer living out of your adamic soul because the warfare is in your mind. Do not fantasize and believe that it has happened when it has not! That is not what he is talking about! He is saying, live for righteousness to the best of your ability, and God will meet you in the way.
Romans 6:12; Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
We know that our human body is mortal, brethren. I am going to suggest to you that this is another hidden verse. Paul is referring to the soul as the body. We have two souls. The adamic soul or the mortal soul is the body that could die. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body!
Do not let sin reign through your adamic soul because if sin reigns in you, then it is not reigning in Christ. If you sin, it is coming through your adamic soul. He is saying, stop it! Police your adamic soul. Do not let it do it. Bring your soul into submission to the holiness of Christ that is in you.
Romans 6:13; Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin.
Neither yield ye your members; there we go again. That is talking about our human spirit, which is our sexual member that is capable of spiritual sex. Neither yield ye your members; do not let your human spirit yield unto sin, which is Satan, but yield yourselves unto God. Have spiritual sex with the Father, who is in His Christ. As those that are alive from the dead. Paul is saying very clearly here, act like you are someone who is alive from the dead. Why? Because you have two souls, and it is possible for you to act that way.
He is also very clearly saying, that it is possible for you to still live in sin. It is very clear in these scriptures. He says, do not yield yourselves to unrighteousness, but yield yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Well, what does that mean? Let your members, let your spiritual sexual parts bring forth Christ.
Use your members as instruments of righteousness, that which will bring forth righteousness unto God. What is righteousness? It is Christ. Do not let your spiritual sexual part bring forth the carnal mind. Let it bring forth Christ. That is what it is saying.
Romans 6:14; For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
For sin shall not have dominion over you if you do not yield your members to it. You know, people take these scriptures out of context. For sin shall not have dominion over you, but in the verse before he says, do not yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness.
If you do not yield, it will not have dominion over you. If Christ has been added to you, then you have the power to overcome sin. If you fight, it will not have dominion over you, but you must fight. What error there is in the Church! It is incredible, is it not? God help us and have mercy on us, Lord!
When you do not yield to sin, when you do not yield your members to it, then you are not under the law, but under grace. Under the law, they were not required to stop sinning because the power to stop sinning is not found.
The law is just a temporary covenant between God and a group of people that would justify them so that the Christ could be brought forth in them.
Paul is saying, you are not under the law. You are no longer in a position where there is no hope for you, where you just sin.
You are not under the law anymore where you just know that you are going to sin, so you go and bring your sacrifice, and you say you are sorry, and that is all there is to it. You are now under grace which gives you the ability to fulfill the law and stop sinning. If you wage the warfare, and not yield your members to unrighteousness, then you will have every hope of full stature. Glory to God!
Romans 6:15; What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Shall we sin? Well, we have to be capable of sin for Paul to say this, what then, shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid! How could Paul say that if we were not capable of sin?
All you pharisees out there, that believe he who is born of God cannot sin, that is true; however, you are not born of God, brethren! It is the Christ in you that is being formed in you that is born of God. It is not until He swallows up your sin filled adamic soul that you, too, shall be fully born of God. You are in error! Repent and ask God to have mercy on you!
Romans 6:16; Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are.
We are capable of sin; however, we are to resist it! The Lord tells us clearly that by the power and authority of His Spirit, that if we resist, we shall be victorious! That does not mean that we may not lose a battle here or there; however, we shall surely overcome in the victory of His Spirit. We shall surely overcome if we do not give up. Alleluia !!! Glory to God!
Let us talk about the scriptural references regarding the growth of life, which appeared in the encyclopedic index of the Open Bible. The first reference, which appears under the category of See Evidences Of That Life is growth.
I Peter 2:2; As newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.
This scripture indicates that spiritual life grows just like a baby grows. We know that babies do not stay babies. They grow up.
For those of us who have newly entered into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ we find that we need very simple food that is very easy to digest. As we grow up in God we find that we not only can tolerate more difficult spiritual food, but it becomes a need. It may be difficult to tolerate at first; however, once we get used to it, then it is almost impossible to go back to milk.
There is a growth process in Christ, which most believers cannot see. There is a big lack of understanding in the Church, that your spirituality, or that your maturity in Christ has nothing whatsoever to do with your chronological age, worldly skills, academic accomplishments, or your secular job.
Growth in Christ is in the spirit. It must be measured by a spiritual measuring rod, which is Christ in you. We are told that the measurement is done with a line and a plummet.
We measure Christ in another human being, not by comparing Him to the Christ in us, but by comparing the Christ in him to our Glorified Lord Jesus Christ. We discern the Christ in him by the Christ in us.
There are two areas in which Christ in a human being must be measured:
1) Christ in us must discern whether He is there.
2) He must be compared to Jesus in order to determine how spiritually mature he is.
The most spiritually mature people that we know, when compared next to Jesus, really have one long way to go. This knowledge will keep us humble.
One of the biggest enemies of the spiritual adolescent is that he believes that he has already arrived. Spiritual adolescent is very similar to physical adolescence. We experience some maturity, and therefore, believe that we do not need teachers anymore. We no longer want to be taught, corrected, or told what to do.
The Scripture clearly states that we must grow in Christ, that we are servants, and we are under tutors and governors until Christ appears in us, which is full stature. It is a growth process. The Lord may leave us without a teacher for a season; however, we must be prepared to submit to that teacher, even though we may have been on our own for a long time. That goes for me too! Glory to God!
What are the evidences of the spiritual life of God dwelling in you?
When Christ grows in you, then you will not stay where you were. You will grow in God, wisdom, knowledge, love, patience, and all of the fruits of the Spirit. They must increase in you.
I have seen many people in the Church that really do not understand that they must change from the inside out. They go around doing the things that will make them look like they have the fruit of the life of Christ; however, they do not have the fruit of the life of Christ. They do not understand that the way to get the fruit of the life of Christ is to totally permit the Lord to expose us in our carnality, to confess it, and hate it. The flesh must be crucified. When the adamic flesh, or the adamic soul in us is crucified by the Christ in us, the demons will flee from us.
You hear a lot about the casting out of demons. Brethren, the demons will not go unless the flesh is crucified because if you cast the demons out without crucifying the flesh, then they will come back and your soul will produce more.
Old order deliverance has done a very good work in many lives; however, it is not completely accurate. It teaches that every problem you have is a demon, and that it can be cast out with just lip service repentance. That is not true! The demons come out after you crucify the adamic soul, which has been generating you. You must castrate your soul and render it incapable of producing any more demons. Glory to God!
Demons are the illegal ungodly fruit of your adamic soul. They are a result of spiritual adultery with your human spirit. This is why Old Order Deliverance had such a high failure rate. Glory to God!
Old Order Deliverance is valid, it is good; however, Christ must be formed in us simultaneously, swallowing up the adamic soul that is generating the demons. I have only heard that preached in two other ministries. Glory to God!
You may think, so what if people go to Old Order Deliverance. If the demons come out, then they come out, and if it does not work, then it does not work. The problem is that if it does not come out, then people are condemned. They will want to know why it came out of one person, but it did not come out of them. They will want to know why God had not helped them!
God is no respecter of persons. Either they did not hear the correct teaching, or they heard the correct teaching, and their mind would not receive it because it was difficult. The correct teaching is your soul must be exposed, and compared to a standard, which is Christ. Everything that is not of Christ must be confessed, and turned against, as our most severe enemy.
I John 3:14; We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
The evidence of the life of Christ is love. Death is the existence that we experience when we dwell in our adamic soul. Life is the existence that we experience when we dwell inward, abiding in the soul of Christ. Paul clearly stated death is the carnal mind, and life is union with the Son. Glory to God!
What is love? Is love hugging and kissing? Is love giving away your last dollar when the Lord never told you to do it? Is love refusing to see their faults or their sins?
Brethren, love is truth. The agape love of the Lord Jesus Christ will stand against sin, in any circumstance. He will not lie to you, flatter you, or cover up ungodly feelings by deeds that may make you feel secure.
What does it mean that you have passed from death to life?
It means that you are not living out of your adamic soul and you are living out of Christ. That is not an easy thing to do. To live out of Christ is an incredible warfare. Adam will start to wage war against you when you try to live out of Christ. We are his servant and he does not want to let us go.
We must first be strengthened by Christ, and then we must be determined to live out of Him by rejecting every adamic thought that comes into our mind. That is not easy.
What does it mean that we know that this has happened to us when we love the brethren?
It means that we do not react or respond to the brethren in an adamic way. We must be determined to serve Almighty God when there is nothing in it for us, when we are not looking to make any kind of a financial, spiritual, or emotional profit. It is when our reactions to our brethren are with honesty and truth. It is very common that the carnal mind may believe something other than honesty and truth and consider it to be more of an accusation.
What is the love of God?
It is the ability to love a person the way Jesus would love them if He were here. When we love the brethren with the agape love of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray to the Lord, Father, how would you like me to show love to them? What would you have me to do?
Brethren, usually the answer is the exact opposite of what your soul would like to do. We know we have passed from death unto life when we obey Christ in our relationships with the brethren. Amen. Glory to God!
Romans 6: 16; Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.
We know that we are growing in Christ when we stop yielding ourselves to sin in our mind. Sin is a voice that whispers in our mind.
Paul is saying that when we respond to that whisper, and agree with the thought and make it our own, then we are the servant of the whisperer. In case you did not know, that is one of the names of Satan. He is the whisperer. Glory to God!
If Christ is being formed in you, then there are two voices in your head. We have a whole Church world of people running around, saying the Lord told me. It is their lord alright; however, it is not Jesus Christ!
Brethren, if you are yielding your members, your soul and body, to a voice that is not the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are serving him and he is your god.
We have a whole Church full of Christians serving two Gods. They hear Christ sometimes; however, usually the more important the issue, the more likely they are obeying Satan. If you obey the voice of sin, you are bringing death into your life.
What is death?
It means that you are dwelling in the carnal mind. If you obey the voice of the Lord in your mind, then you are crossing over the spiritual river Jordan into an existence of righteousness. We know that you are growing in Christ when you obey God. It is not so easy to obey God because frequently God will ask you to do things that you do not want to do. Your flesh may scream out not to do it. Obeying God is very difficult. Most people will not pay the price to do it. What price? Satan will bomb you when you try to obey God and live for righteousness sake.
What is the opposite of living for righteousness sake?
It is living for self preservation. Brethren, we have large numbers of people in the Church who look really good. They do all kinds of religious works that look really good; however, if you really sit down and talk to them, then you will find out that they are doing it for self preservation.
About a year ago, I watched a video series by John Bradshaw, who is the founder of the popular, teaching, of the co-dependent inner child. Bradshaw talks about things that people are dependent upon: substance abuse, people abuse, and he also included some born again Christians or people being addicted to Church.
When I first heard it, I rejected it, thinking that it was just an anti-christ spirit manifesting; however, the Lord has shown me that this is true. Everybody who goes to Church four times a week is not doing it because God has sent them to Church four times a week. I realize now, that when I first started going, I was very needy. It was a satisfying experience for my soul to be in church four times a week. It was not until the Lord called me out of that church that I realized that I had an addiction to the music and the whole Church world. I literally went through withdrawal when He took me out. Now, I know that I can enjoy Church when I go, and I can enjoy Jesus when I do not go, and I am no longer addicted.
Frequently, I will go into a service where everyone is jumping around, dancing and getting slain in the Spirit. I sit there very calmly, and usually do not get into it at all. To the carnal minds of the people involved in this experience, they think that either I am rejecting them, being rebellious, or there is something wrong with me. The truth of the matter is that, today, most of the time I only react out of Christ and Christ is not into all that jumping.
I am not against the Pentecostal experience. I think it is very good for needy and hurt people that need healing in their soul. You can go and get healed in your soul through an outpouring of music, prophesy and everything that is there. It is safe and moral. However, brethren, you are supposed to get healed, grow up in God, and then go on. I am suggesting to you that the Pentecostal experience is spiritual childhood. There is nothing wrong with it. It is wonderful, unless you stay there for fifty years and die. The Pentecostal experience is good and wonderful in its place, just like breast feeding; however, you do not want a ten year old at your breast.
Have you ever experienced being in a fellowship, where the fire of God was poured out night after night, after night, for five years, and then one day it was gone? Did you ever ask yourself what happened? I was in a Church like that just recently. The fire of God raged ten years ago; however, it is not in that Church anymore. These same people were dancing around, screaming, and trying to pump up the Spirit. They were trying to call the Spirit down the way they called it down ten years ago, and it would not come. They do not understand what happened. Brethren, God is not doing that anymore in their lives.
Jesus does not want ten year olds at His breast! Did you know that one of His names is the breasted one, and that He is raising up children? He pushes us out of the nest by removing His breast from us. He says, if you want to have a relationship with me, then you are going to have it on a more mature level because I am not offering you the breast anymore.
The Pentecostal experience is spiritual kindergarten. God wants you to grow up. He wants you to be able to survive without it. He wants you to be able to go into it and enjoy it if He sends you, and if He lets you dance, or if He lets you get slain in the Spirit that is just fine. He wants you to know that He is all there is, and that He manifests in a multitude of ways, and that He will determine the relationship with you.
We have a society that is richly infested with Jezebel. It is all over the whole society. It is in relationships and marriages. It is everywhere! It is even in the Church in their relationship to God. The believer wants to set the ground rules for the relationship with God. Unfortunately, most of this is done in ignorance.
My heart goes out to the people that have not had the opportunity to hear the truth. If they have heard the truth; however, they have not been open enough to pray about it and hear from God, then it is their problem. Just as a child's relationship with their parent's changes from year to year as they mature, our relationship with the Lord changes as we mature.
The Lord, being a faithful parent will not tolerate you staying in your childish condition. He will refuse to relate to you on that level. Get on your face before God, and ask Him why He is not doing that in your life anymore. Even if you do not have the understanding at the moment pray for His perfect will. Your prayer should be something along these lines:
Dear Lord, I do not know why that good feeling is not coming my way anymore, but the most important thing is that I be in your perfect will.
Do not pray to get that thing back. Pray for the perfect will of the Lord, and that He meets your needs in accordance with His mind. Do not push against the pricks, brethren.
It was a very sad day seeing these mature people in their fifties and sixties, jumping around trying to pump up that Spirit that never came down. It was a very sad day for me.
I do not do anything that the Lord does not lead me to do. I will not even stand up in a service or raise my hand. Why would you want me to raise my hand if it is not Jesus in me raising that hand? Glory to God!
Romans 6:17; But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
You used to serve sin when Satan whispered in your mind, and you spoke the thought. You thought a sinful thought. He put the sinful thought in your mind and you said it. I want to tell you that you would not say it if you did not agree with it.
Start policing your minds. Think about everything that comes out of your mouth. Get a revelation from what is right and what is wrong. Glory to God!
We were the servants of sin, but we have now obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine which was delivered to us. We have obeyed that doctrine from the heart of Christ.
Remember, we have two hearts: the heart and the mind. They are one in the same in the Hebrew; however, two different words in the Greek.
If you do a word study on it in Strong's, you will find that it is very hard to determine really what the difference is between the heart and mind. They are that close.
The way we turn obedience to the doctrine of God is by living out of the heart of God. The heart and the mind is the same thing, so what is the heart of God? It is the heart and mind of Christ.
If you are living out of adam, then you are obeying the carnal mind. If you are living out of the new life in Christ, then you are obeying the mind of Christ. The doctrine of God is in the mind of Christ.
If you are in your carnal mind, then you will surely reject the doctrine of God. Another sign of growth in Christ is that we receive the true doctrine. There are great arguments in the Church as to what the true doctrine is. I declare to you, brethren, that the true doctrine is the Spirit of the Word. It is not the fantasy and the fables of the minds of men.
Romans 6:18; Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
As you become the servants of righteousness, then you are free from sin. We are all servants to a spirit. Even Jesus Christ of Nazareth, in the full stature that He was in served His Father. Soul, at its highest potential to develop will still serve spirit. Spirit is higher than soul. Glory to God! We were made free from sin!
We must be serving a spirit. In order to get free from Satan we must serve Christ. If there is no other ruling spirit in our lives, then the only way to get free from Satan is probably for this body to die! Death is not freedom! We must serve someone! There is only one way to get free, and that is to start serving another master.
Mathew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
It is a big deception in the whole world today that man is his own person. Man is not his own person! We have an unseen spiritual ruler, and he is either Satan or He is the Father. In the realm of the soul, it is either the carnal mind, which is the offspring of Satan, or Christ, which is the offspring of the Father. Alleluia!!!
Romans 6:19: I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
If your flesh is sick, then he is talking about your carnality. He is saying, I am speaking to you as simply as I know how.
I am using terms like sin, and righteousness, and servants, because I know that if I went into deep spiritual expressions, then you would not know what I was talking about!
I am showing here how you are joined to Satan, and Eve, and the carnal mind. All of these diagrams are for someone in whom Christ is being formed. Those whose flesh is filled with infirmity, or those who are still living out of adam could never understand what I am saying.
I want to put that on the board for you. Satan is unclean. Another name for uncleanness is sin.
What is your member? What is the true you?
He is talking about your sexual member. He also talks about the loins of your mind in the place where spiritual sexuality takes place. Our spiritual sexual member is Eve. She has the ability to reproduce and bring forth a child.
We cannot appear in this realm of appearance unless we have borne a spiritual child. If we are married to Satan, the spiritual child that we bear is the carnal mind. When we marry the Father, the child that we bear is Christ. Those of us in whom Christ is being formed have two children: one of the bond woman, and one of promise. Glory to God!
The child of the bond woman is the carnal mind. No, Satan is not male! Satan is female She is the bond woman! She is not the true mother of the heir of God! She has fertilized Eve and brought forth the carnal mind, the child of the bond woman. This child must be cast out of our minds. I remind you that Ishmael and Hagar were not cast out until Isaac was weaned.
For a season, we will have two minds: the carnal mind, and Christ. James talks about it, and calls it the doubleminded man, the believer that has the carnal mind and Christ.
The Scripture clearly states that they will co-exist until the end of that season when Christ has been weaned. When Christ no longer needs the mother's milk, the child of the bond woman shall be cast out.
You have yielded your members, your human spirit, also known as Eve, to uncleanness. You have yielded your members to uncleanness, to Satan, and unto iniquity, the carnal mind.
Our human spirit is fornicating, both with Satan, her husband, and with the carnal mind or her offspring. When she fornicates with Satan, then she is in a continuous state of fornication with Satan to sustain the carnal mind in this realm of appearance. Eve is continuously fornicating with Satan and causing the carnal mind to appear in this realm of appearance.
The technique that was used to make moving pictures in the silent movie era involved many frames of a similar picture where each frame was just slightly different. The frames were flicked one after another which produced moving pictures. This world system is sustained as an illusion!
We have yielded our members unto uncleanness, which is Satan, and unto iniquity, which is the carnal mind. The scripture says it twice in verse 19.
The second reference of the word, iniquity refers to the demons that are produced when we fornicate with the carnal mind. When we fornicate with Satan, then the carnal mind is produced. When we fornicate with the carnal mind, then demons are produced.
The Scripture says, we yield our members. Members include: our human spirit, Eve, unto Satan, unto uncleanness, and unto iniquity, the carnal mind, and unto iniquity, the demons. Our human spirit is fornicating with Satan, with the carnal mind, and with the demons, depending upon how demonized we are. Glory to God! Yield your members servants to righteousness, and unto holiness.
Paul is saying, this is your condition. You have Satan, the carnal mind, and demons in your spiritual being; however, now the true heir, your spiritual being, Christ has appeared. With Christ is the Father. He says, I know what you are doing with Satan, and the carnal mind, and the demons. You are double minded; however, now you have a choice.
In the diagram, you have the Father as well as Satan. Down here you have Christ as well as the carnal mind. Down here you have the fruit of God's Spirit as well as the demons.
You are double minded and you are unstable in all your ways. You cannot decide whether you want to have sex with Satan or the Father. You cannot decide whether or not you want to have sex with the carnal mind or Christ. You cannot decide whether you want to have sex with demons or the fruits of God's Spirit. You have to be having spiritual sex with one or the other, and you are all mixed up, because one day you are having sex with Satan, and in the next instance you are having sex with Christ. You are going back and forth.
Brethren, one minute you are in church, and you are speaking in tongues, and that is certainly communion with the Father; however, then you come out of church, and you hate your brother. That is most certainly communion with the carnal mind. You are unstable in all your ways!
Paul says, be aware of this. As you used to yield your members to the uncleanness, and its offspring, now choose to yield your members to the Father, and to Christ, and to the fruits of the Spirit. Agree with them because spiritual reproduction is in your mind.
Brethren, this scripture is not really clear as to what kind or the extent to which a warfare is necessary to be able to do this. While you are choosing to join with the Father and Christ, and the fruits of the Spirit, Satan, the carnal mind, and the demons are doing everything they can to destroy your walk with God. We must obey God. We must get a revelation of righteousness. We must get an understanding in our heart of what is right.
When that thought comes into your mind, do not agree with it, rebuke it, and do not speak it out of your mind. That is what we must do. We must lay hold of every imagination as it comes into our mind before we speak it out of our mouth. Alleluia!!!
Romans 6:20; For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
The way it is translated here is not really accurate. It should say there was no righteousness in us when we were the servants of sin.
Romans 6:21; What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Glory to God!
Romans 6:22; But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness.
What is the fruit? It is Christ, and the end is everlasting life. As we resist sin, and yield to a spiritual sexual intercourse with the Father and His Christ, and the fruits of the Spirit, we shall be translated from the death, which is in the carnal mind ruled by Satan, and in the adamic soul. We shall be translated from that into the life which exists in union, in total union with the Father and the Son, and the fruits of His Spirit, which are a part of the Son. Glory to God!
Dealing with evidences of spiritual life and victory in your life
Brethren, you must have victory in your life. It does not always come right away. Do not let anybody condemn you. I want to tell you, if anybody had told me how long it would take me to reap the good things that I sowed into the kingdom, I would never have believed it!
I came to the Lord with many problems, troubles, and family line curses. Of course, they start breaking right away; however, I did not know that it would take as long as it took me to break the curses completely. The victory in my life was a process. I am down on my knees today, thanking God.
There was a curse on my life where I was not able to get anyone to help me with things that I could not do. I am very capable in many areas; however, I am not very handy with fixing things. I could not get anyone to help me even if I offered to pay them! I could not get anyone to help me, and on the rare occasion that someone would come, I always had to pay them.
No matter what church I was in there was never anybody available to just give me a hand. From the first year that I came to the Lord, I was always giving, giving, giving, of what I was capable to give of; however, I could not find anyone to help me.
Now it is close to fifteen years, and just now, the Lord is sending people into my life to fix things that I cannot fix. I just got down on my knees today because something broke, and I called somebody, and they came right over and fixed it. It was a friend, and no charge. It would have cost a hundred dollars to get it fixed!
I just thank God that this curse is breaking in my life. It has taken almost fifteen years to break this particular curse. I do not want to discourage anybody. It breaks little by little.
I do not know if we ever get the total victory in this lifetime, unless the Lord permits us to go on to full stature. There must be some victory in your life; however, do not be discouraged if you are not healed totally at once because I was not.
God has many reasons for doing many things. Who can understand His ways? Most of the Church world does not understand His ways. For years, I have been saying that if you have a particular problem, frequently, God will anoint one person to pray for you, and He will honor their prayers. I never hear this preached in the Church. It may be your pastor; however, it does not have to be.
When you have a problem, and you have people all over the country praying for you, or your whole church praying for you, then God will hear your prayers. He will raise up one person that has an anointing in that area, and they may be the only person that has the anointing to set you free. I have never heard it preached that it may not always be your pastor.
If you are guilty of idolatry, and you will not go to the person that God sends you to for prayer, then you may miss it. I know what I am talking about. You have to go where God sends you to get your need met.
I had one person tell me that she was in such pain, so I asked her to come to a healing seminar hosted by someone from out of town with a healing anointing. The woman told me that she believed everyone in the church can pray healing, and therefore, she did not have to go. Brethren, what ignorance and pride!
I was watching the 700 Club today. They had a young woman on the show. She was at the most was in her late thirties or early forties. She contracted a crippling disease and could not get out of bed. She was a young vital woman, an athlete, and she was just in bed day and night. Her friends would come with a sleeping bag, and sleep by her bed, praying for her day and night. People were praying for her all over the country for almost a whole year. Even with all these people praying for her, she was not healed, and was in pain every day. Finally, she could not take it anymore, and cried out for a miracle!
Her brother came and told her about a Quaker, and suggested going to see him. She went to him for some kind of nutritional counseling. He saw her, and prophesied to her that she would be healed in a very short period of time, a couple of weeks. God raised up the one man with the anointing. It came to pass. He laid hands on her and she was healed. He was a Quaker.
If you were sick all your life, or a very large part of your life, and you loved the church, the pastor, the elders, and the people in the church, and someone came to you and said, God is going to give you a healing through a little Quaker farmer in the backwoods. Would you get in your car and go and let him lay hands on you? How many people would say yes? Not many people would say yes. I want to tell you, not many people would go. The Church is filled with idolatry!
We know that everything in the Scripture is a natural example of the spiritual. When Moses was up in the Mount getting the Ten Commandments, and Aaron and the Hebrew children were making the golden calf, and involved in idolatry and all kinds of wickedness, it was forty days and forty nights. The Lord told me something very interesting. He said, for the last two thousand years, since Christ was physically taken away from us, since the apostles passed out of the picture, that is the condition of the Church today. Moses, the type of Christ, has ascended on high. The apostles are gone. There is no one in full stature or near full stature. There are just gifted people. Righteousness is not in the Church, and the whole Church world is making a golden calf, dancing and singing, and involved in all kinds of wickedness.
Christ is about to come down from the mountain with great wrath! He will destroy your idols by grinding them into powder, and force you to drink it!
Wormwood judgment is coming! He is also going forth with the Levites, and He will be slaying many by a natural or spiritual death! Three thousand were slain when Moses came down from the mountain!
For those that have ears to hear, let them hear. Very few will believe this, but it is still the truth. Whether you believe it or not, it is still the truth. Glory to God!
