Praise the Lord; this is Part 10 of the Sixth Seal of the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John.   We are going to recap Genesis 49 versus 22 through 26, which is Joseph and verse 13 which is Zebulun. Joseph is the son of God that bears many offspring.   Even a son who bears spiritual young in the realm of appearance, whose sons appear above their spiritual foundation, and are able to master the realm of appearance, both beholding it and journeying about within it, but not being overcome by it, and the master of the living soul, even the husband of Israel’s youth makes her bitter and grieved, wounds her by dividing her into many members, setting himself opposite to them.   But, nevertheless, the life of his spirit is marrying the living soul, and they shall continue in the realm of appearance for the life of the ages, and Israel shall be purified as fine gold by the spiritual power of the almighty God of Jacob.

Your help shall come from Israel, even Jesus Christ, the Great Shepherd who shall rule through the members of the body of Christ by his Glorified Spirit.   Help will come from your father's God and the impregnable God.   Even the destroyer shall break you down into your basic spiritual parts, rearrange them and restore you to the correct moral order, thus granting you the peace that occurs only when he rules over you.   The life of God shall be found in the satanic realm of your unconscious mind.   The life of God shall appear in your soul and in your human spirit.   God's good intentions towards Abraham, to impart the peace to them, which results from being brought into submission to the authority of God, shall be stronger than the curses of my offspring, even your brothers, until the last generation of Abraham's natural seed is birth, even Christ.   They shall be Joseph's beginning and the increase of he who was separated out from among his brothers into a consecrated life of God.  Zebulun shall live out of their flesh man, and he shall be a place where the soul man can manifest the carnal mind freely, and his spiritual reproductive parts shall be a formidable enemy to the spirit man, and shall never be conquered, that is until the curse of Cain is broken in Christ.

Hallelujah.  We are moving on today to Simeon and Levi.  You can find that in Genesis 49 verses 5 through 7.

Genesis 49:5-7;  Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.  O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.   Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel:   I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.  KJV

Starting with verse 5.   Simeon and Levi are brethren.  The word are is in italics, and it is not in the original Hebrew.   Simeon and Levi, brethren, instruments of cruelty.   The words are in are not in the original Hebrew either.   Instruments of cruelty their habitations, it should read.   So here is another instance in the Hebrew where it is such a fluid language. There is not even any verb there.  The translator or the hearer of the language has to insert the verb.   Instruments of cruelty; are in, were in, used to be, shall be, in their habitations.  It is translator’s license to fill in the verb in both of these sentences.  Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty their habitation.   The word Simeon is Strong’s #5613 and it means failed to arise, to endure, to be appointed.  Levi is Strong’s #3878, and it means attached, to twine, unite or remain.

The word brethren is Strong’s #251 and it really means having the same father.  The words instruments, talking about instruments of cruelty, is Strong’s #3627.  It really means an instrument is a vessel, a tool, clothing, or a weapon.  The word cruelty is Strong’s #2555.  That means violence, wrong, or oppression.  I think cruelty is really a poor translation, because it is really talking about a moral condition; the moral condition of doing wrong to someone, or oppressing someone, or doing violence to someone, to violating somebody.  Webster’s definition of the word wrong is injurious, unfair, immoral, and unethical.  I suggest you that, that is the intention that the Holy Spirit is implying in this phrase, instruments of cruelty.   They are vessels of immorality, unfairness, and injuriousness to their fellow man.   Hallelujah!

Simeon and Levi, brethren, instruments of cruelty, their habitations.   The word habitations is Strong’s #4380.  This is the only time this Hebrew word is translated habitation, and what it really means is swords.   I am telling you these King James translators really took translators license.  They translated the word habitations, and it really means swords, and they are so called from piercing through.   They are so called from piercing through.  This is really interesting.  You are going to see when I read you the alternate translation that the King James translators, in this instance, really seemed to pick up the spirit of what God was saying.  I agree that the intention of the word really is habitation, but they could not understand how the word sword or how anything to do with piercing through could mean a habitation.  What I am suggesting to you, when you hear it in the alternate translation, is the form which the spiritual life took after it pierced through into the realm of appearance.   God calls it a sword.  In case you are not aware of it, He says that each and every member of the living soul is a sword; possesses a sword.  Does anybody know where our sword is?  Yes, it is our tongue.

We have the ability to wage war with our mouths, and more specifically with the tongue.  Here in the Hebrew, the intent of the verse is obviously the vessel that we live in, and the King James translators, therefore, translated this word sword as habitation.  We are going to translate it pretty much the same way, except that we are putting this understanding forth so that you can understand that the habitation is called the sword because it is a vessel capable of making war.  I remind you of our recent studies that the living soul is a warrior.   He has spiritual power to wage war, and the one that he is waging war against is the Lord Jesus Christ.   Hallelujah!  Glory to God!

Let us see what we have with the alternate translation here.   Genesis 49:5; Simeon, the son of God who appeared in the earth.  I refer you back to the meaning of his name.   The name of Simeon; foothold, arise and endure.  He appeared.   The name of Simeon means that he appeared.  So Simeon is typifying the son of God who appeared in the earth.  Levi, the one who was attached, who was twined, who was united, is typifying the living soul that the son of God was a part of and attached to.  You may recall that the son of God was propelled into the earth.  He was joined to the earth and he became a living soul.   Simeon, the son of God who appeared in the earth, and Levi the living soul, that he, the son of God was a part of, and attached to, had the same father.   Glory to God!

Their swords or the form their spiritual life, or strength took, when they pierced through into the realm of appearance are unjust.   Their swords, or their habitations, or their vessels are unjust.   They are immoral.   They are unethical vessels.  The many members of the living soul, of which the humble son of God is a spiritual part, are unjust, immoral, and unethical vessels.  Simeon, the son of God who appeared in the earth, and Levi the living soul that he was a part of, and attached to, have the same father.  Their swords, the form their spiritual life took when they pierced through into the realm of appearance, are unjust, immoral, and unethical vessels.   Glory to God!  How interesting that the Lord identifies us by our tongue.  He does not identify us by whether or not we have a big or small nose, or whether we are male or female, but He identifies man as a tongue that has the ability to do damage.   That is how the Lord sees us.   Glory to God!

King James Version of Genesis 49:6.   O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: We will stop with the first half of that.   Oh my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united.   O my soul that is not an accurate form of the verb.   The accurate form of the verb is let, and I put this on another tape.   I have to get a hold of a grammar book.  I do not know what form of the verb, what the name of this form of this verb is, but there is a form of the verb that is translated, let not, let not harm come to you.  Let not is not used in modern society.   I know I studied Spanish for awhile, and my Spanish teacher was teaching us about it.  He said in Spanish it was always a blessing, but even in Spanish they do not use it that much anymore.   Usually in Mexican movies they say Vaya con Dios, meaning may God go with you.  That is this form of the verb.  It is a blessing.  May God go with you.  Let God go with you.  The correct expression of this phrase, O my soul, is really, let not my soul, may not my soul.  The phrase that we are dealing with is, may not my soul come into their secret.  Let not my soul, may it not happen to my soul that it should come into their secret.   Now the word, come, is Strong’s #935, and it can be used to describe sexual union.

King James Version of Genesis 6:4; There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came into unto the daughters of men.  They came in unto the daughters of men.  That is a form of sexual union.   It can also be used to describe spiritual union.  Ezekiel 2:2; And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me.  It can also be used to describe union between flesh and a foreign object.   2 Kings 18:21; Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it.  The scripture is talking about a thorn, and the Holy Spirit is describing Egypt as a bruised reed.  What we are told in that verse is that if you lean upon Egypt, which typifies the flesh, God calls him a bruised reed.   If you lean upon him, the thorn will go into your hands.  That means if you lean upon the flesh for your strength, you are going to be pierced through.  There will be a separation from God.   You cannot go to God for your help, and also lean upon the flesh for your help.   If you lean upon the flesh, you are going to be bruised.   That is the intent of the phrase, but for our purposes here, this word, go into, is used to describe a thorn or a reed piercing a man’s hand.  We are talking about a complete union, where if the thorn pierces your hand, it literally becomes one with your hand.  It is in the midst of your hand.

Let us find out what the Lord is saying here.  O my soul, or let not my soul come into their secret; let not my soul join with their secret.  The word, secret, is Strong’s #5475.  It means consultation or deliberation.  This is what it is saying.  This is the plea of the son of God, which is typifying Simeon, who is buried, who has become one with the earth, and is now the living soul who has lost his spiritual power to become one with the earth, that we might live.  He is saying, let not my soul join with the council of the carnal mind of man.  You may recall that we studied this, particularly in Mystery of Babylon.  Spiritual life is cycling though the earth, and the commission of the father to that spiritual life is join not with the council of the flesh; fornicate not with the harlot, but cleave unto that which I have told you is right before you took on the flesh.   Be not polluted, by the thoughts of the carnal mind. This is what this verse is saying.   It is the plea of the son of God who has been made the living soul, and it has been reduced to a weakened condition whereby it is possible for him to be swayed into fornication with the harlot.  His prayer is, O, let not my soul join with the councils of the flesh, or with the councils of the life that is in the dust of the earth, that I have been joined to.  Let me not fornicate with the carnal mind.   Hallelujah!

The second phrase is unto their assembly, mine honor be not thou united.  He says, Let my soul not join in their council, and let not mine honor be united to their assembly.  I am going to suggest to you that this word, honor, is typifying the human spirit within the living soul that is capable of producing either Christ or the carnal mind.  I will establish that for you now.  Unto their assembly mine honor be not thou united.   The word, assembly, is Strong’s #6951 and it means the gathering of the nations.   It is not the assembly of the congregation of Israel.   It is the gathering of the nations.  The word, honor, is Strong’s #3519.  I am going to give you some scriptures that I hope will establish for you, to your satisfaction, that this word, honor, can be used to describe the human spirit.

Psalm 108:1; O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.  We have a personal pronoun here, my glory, and we see the word, heart, used in close conjunction with the word, glory, in a very positive verse of scripture.  O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.  I know it is not obvious what I am suggesting to you.  The psalmist is speaking about his heart in general, and then he is speaking about that special part of his heart, which is his spirit.  We know that we must sing and give praise with spirit.   We must worship God in spirit and in truth.   Psalm 57:7-8; My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.  Awake up, my glory.  I will awake, so his heart is fixed.   His heart is singing, and giving praise, and he is asking his glory to awake.  There is something, within his heart, that is going to rise up, and join to the spirit of God.

Psalm 16:9; Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.  I hope I have established that for you.  If I have not, I ask you to pray about it.   It is the best I could do.   We are dealing with the phrase; Unto their assembly mine honour be not there united.  Now this word, united, is Strong’s #3161.   It is the only time I found it in Strong’s, and it means to join or to become united.   Now here is the alternate translation I have for you.

Alternate Translation of the first chapter of Genesis 49:6; Let my soul not agree with the council of the carnal mind.  Let not my spirit be joined with him.  Let my soul, let not that which is flesh in me agree with the council of the carnal mind.  The only way our soul cannot agree with the council of the carnal mind is if it is in total submission to a spirit.  We know that our soul is weak, easily seduced, and the only way it is going to be kept from agreeing with the ungodly councils of the flesh man is when it is in total submission to the spirit man.   Let not my soul agree with the council of the carnal mind.   Let not my spirit be joined with him in a spiritual sexual union that will continue to produce and strengthen the carnal mind.   I will read that one more time.   Let my soul not agree with the council of the carnal mind.   Let not my spirit be joined with him.  With whom?  With the carnal mind.   Glory to God!  Hallelujah!

Continuing with the second half of Genesis 49:6; for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill, they digged down a wall.   This word, anger, is Strong’s #639 and it means anger.  Webster says that anger is an emotional reaction of extreme displeasure.  Now extreme displeasure is a negative emotional reaction.  I want to suggest to you, what I believe this means spiritually, concerning the extreme displeasure that Simeon and Levi experienced, with a negative emotional reaction to the restriction that God placed upon them when they entered into the flesh.   Now remember I am suggesting to you that Simeon and Levi are typifying the spiritual son of God, when he was joined to the existence in the earth, and God put them together, knowing that there would be lust and emotion in their mind.  He said to them; do not act on it; do not yield to the lust of your mind; do not yield to the emotions that are coming forth in your mind, and Simeon and Levi experienced great anger.   They experienced great emotional displeasure because the Lord said to them, I know you are feeling it, but I do not want you to do it.  The verse is, for in their anger, in their great emotional reaction of extreme displeasure, they slew a man.  Who was the man that they slew?  They slew Adam when they failed to obey God, and resist the lusts, and the desires of their mind.   They yielded to them and the result of that yielding was that Adam was slain.   Hallelujah!  Glory to God!

For in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.   The word selfwill is Strong’s #7522, and that means delight and satisfaction.  So first they experienced anger at their restriction.   Have you ever seen a child that wants something and is told by their parents they cannot have it?   They sometimes have temper tantrums.   They experience extreme emotional displeasure, but if they go beyond their parent’s authority and experience it anyway, they experience selfwill, delight, or satisfaction.  What the scripture is telling us is that Simeon and Levi were placed in a difficult situation that required self-discipline and restraint.  The Lord said to them, restrain yourself.  Simeon and Levi are typifying the son of God buried in the earth and joined to the existence of the earth.   The Lord said to them, I know you are being tempted.   Resist!  They experienced great anger and emotional displeasure.   They went and they yielded to these emotions and lusts anyway, in which event they experienced great pleasure.   That is what this scripture is saying.  In their selfwill they digged down.  In their delight and satisfaction in the breaking of God’s commandment, they dig down a wall.

The word, dig, is Strong’s #6131.   It is the only time this Hebrew word is translated dig, and it means to pluck up by the roots; to exterminate.   It can be translated to be a barren male.  It was also used to describe any kind of strength, in particular, a horse or a work animal to be rendered useless and unfit for work, either by castrating it or hamstringing it by tying up its legs, so that it cannot perform its function.   The Hebrew word translated dig is used to describe worldly conditions.  Basically, how we are going to use it here is that it is used to describe the disabling of male authority in power, to be made barren.  Specifically, when it is translated to be made barren, it never refers to a woman.  It is referring to male barrenness, and that is how we are going to use it here; male barrenness and for the male strength to be rendered useless and unfit for work.

They dig down a wall and the word, wall, is Strong’s #7794, and it does not mean wall at all.   It means bull.  The King James translators took a lot of translator’s license.  The word means bull.  For some reason I am struggling here.  I know what I have written down, and I do not know if the Lord is correcting me, or if it is something else.  Let me put it to you this way. When God formed the living soul, and He joined the son of God, the spiritual life of the son of God to the existence of the earth, the Lord formed the living soul, which was going to bring forth Christ.   I understand what the Lord wants me to say.

When the Lord formed the living soul, He formed an entity that had the potential to bring forth Christ.   When the living God would fertilize the human spirit, Christ would appear, swallow up the living soul, and that would be the beginning of the creation of God.   God is saying in this scripture, that they dig down a wall, that they uprooted the kingdom of God.  They destroyed, they exterminated the male seed of God, that the Lord determined to bring forth.   Now just try and look a little into the future.  This is the same situation that we had on a recent tape where we talked about God saying to Adam, you need a help meet.  The first thing that He did was bring forth the human spirit, which was the potential to bring forth Christ in Adam.  Adam’s help is not Eve.  Adam’s help is Christ.  Christ in you is the hope of glory.  So God said, let us make a help meet for Adam, a help that would be sufficient to give this man the support that he needs.  The first thing God did, was provide the mechanism that would bring forth the Christ.  That is what He is saying here.  In their selfwill, they uprooted the bull, the male seed of the creation of God.

If you can hear, it sounds a little confusing.  How did they rip up the male?  We know that the living soul was the female element, so how can we say that in their breaking of God’s law, they destroyed the male element of the creation?  How could we say that?  Because the male element of the creation, Christ, was planned and programmed to appear in the human spirit.  What happened when they broke the law of God?  Eve married Satan, and brought forth the carnal mind.  The vehicle through which Christ, the male bull, the male seed, the male strength of God Almighty, that was to appear in the living soul, was knocked out.   She married the wrong person.   Did I make it clear?  Do you want me to go over it again?   Maybe I will go over it again.  It is really tough, but God just does this in the Scripture.  I see that He is doing it in more and more places.   God formed the living soul.   He took the spiritual life of the son of God, and He joined it to the existence in the earth, and we have been teaching in this ministry that, that was the female element of the creation.   The male element of the creation has to come forth and marry the living soul.   Amen!

Where is He is coming forth?  He is coming forth within the living soul itself.   God sent his Holy Spirit to fertilize the human spirit.  Christ is being birthed right within each member of the living soul, and there is the male element, Christ himself, the seed, the male, the bull of Almighty God, and he is going to marry our soul.   But first he has to appear in us.  By getting Eve to marry Satan, and producing a perversion, the carnal mind, they ripped up the vehicle by which Christ would appear in man and marry the living soul.   They ripped it up and they destroyed it right at the root.   So if you are thinking with our carnal mind, we are going to say; well, how could they have destroyed Christ; how could they have destroyed the male seed?  He was not even there yet.  That is exactly right.

I am a woman, and I do not really expect to have any more children.  But if you take a young woman, and she is hoping to bear children, and you want to rip up the male offspring that God has promised her, and destroy it, you tell her she needs a hysterectomy.  Maybe she has never married, and she has never given birth to children, but whatever future God has for the line coming through this woman, is gone.  Maybe she was predestined to have sons that would preach the gospel; that would do mighty works and miracles for God.   All of that is uprooted and wiped out before she ever got married because she had a hysterectomy.   That is what this is talking about.   So on the surface it does not make any sense because the male has not appeared yet.   That is right.  They destroyed her.   They perverted her.   They made her a harlot before she could bring forth the glory of God within her.  That is what we are saying here.

For in their anger, in their emotional displeasure at God’s command to restrain themselves, they slew Adam.  In that self will, as they went forward to satisfy themselves, in direct rebellion against God’s command, they utterly ripped up, uprooted, and destroyed the kingdom of God, that God had destined to come forth in the living soul.   Hallelujah!  Glory to God!  I just wanted to tell you that this word translated wall is really bull, Strong's #7794.  It is from a root that means to journey.  It is from a root that means to journey or a traveler.  I suggest to you that the traveler is the spirit that travels through the realm of time, and is given the command when he enters into the realm of time.  He is given a soul and a body, and he is commanded not to fornicate, with that soul in that body.  When he does fornicate with that soul, what he has done, is he has ripped up, and uprooted, andexterminated the potential kingdom of God that the Lord intended to bring forth in that vessel.

The second half of Genesis 49:6.  Because in their rage against the restraints which God placed upon satisfying the emotions and lust in their mind, they kill the living soul, and in satisfying the emotions and lust in their mind, they rendered the human spirit incapable of bringing forth Christ; thus plucking up the kingdom of God by the roots.   (AT)

But we know that the Lord overcame that disaster through his son Jesus Christ.   Apparently at the beginning, God’s plan was to fertilize the living soul without the intermediary Jesus Christ.   That was the original plan.   God was going to go directly to His living soul, and fertilize it, and bring forth the Christ.    But because the living soul was slain, because it fell into sin, He had to send his Son, Jesus Christ, to be a mediator.   Glory to God!

Genesis 49:6;  Let my soul not agree with the council of the carnal mind.   Let my spirit not be joined with him, because in their rage against the restraints God placed upon satisfying the emotions and lust in their mind, they kill the living soul, and in satisfying the emotions, and lusts in their mind, they rendered the human spirit incapable of bringing forth the Christ, thus plucking up the kingdom of God by the roots.  (AT)

Genesis 49:7;  Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel:  I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.  (KJV)

Now here is another instance where there is no verb in the Hebrew.   Cursed be their anger.  The words, be there, is not in the original Hebrew.  It says cursed anger.  Translator’s license as to what verb you use.  The words, it was, is not in the Hebrew.   For fierce, is what the Hebrew says.   The translator puts in the verb.   Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce.   The word curse is not the same word that we discussed at the last message where we said the word translated blessing, can also be translated curse.  This is a different Hebrew word.  It is Strong’s #779 and it means only to bitterly curse; to denounce; to declare to be detestable.   The word fierce; cursed be their anger.  We already discussed the word anger.  For it was fierce.  The word fierce is Strong's #5794.  It is used only twice and it means strong; vehement; or harsh.   This Hebrew word is translated fierce only twice; strong; vehement; or harsh.

Cursed being their anger, denounced as detestable be their anger, and for it was harsh and vehement and strong, and their wrath for it was cruel.  The word wrath is Strong's #5678   and it means an outburst of passion.  Now interestingly enough, it is the feminine of Strong's #5676 and #5676 means a region across on the opposite side.  It is specially used of the Jordan, and it usually means the east side of the Jordan.   Now this is the male equivalent of this word east.   The east typifies the realm where God is, so the feminine of this word means the opposite side of the river from where God is.   Well, what is the opposite side of the river from where God is, brethren?  It is the living soul.  The direct opposite of God is the living soul.   We are the exact opposite from Him.  He is righteous, and we are unrighteous.   He is invisible, and we are seen.  We discussed it recently, and also all the way back in the Babylon series, that here we have a male verb.  I do not know whether it is a verb.  We have a male word that means the opposite side of  Jordan, meaning the east of the realm of God.  When they put it in the feminine, they do not say it is the west side of Jordan.   They do not say that.  What they say is it means a passionate outburst.  Now what does that mean?

I really think that the reason they do that is because they could not understand it.   They merely were going under the impression that women were all emotion, and men were all rational thought.  That was the belief in those days, and that was how the creation functioned.  What have we got here?  We are saying their wrath was cruel.  I am suggesting to you that there was, indeed, an outburst of passion, and the result of that outburst of passion was that they crossed over the river.   They crossed over the river and the creation appeared.   The words, it was, is not in the Hebrew.  The word, cruel, is Strong's #7185.  It is only translated cruel twice, and it means to be hard.  We have been studying here for months that this expression, to be hard, refers to the realm of appearance.  It is likened to the three forms that spirit can take; gas referring to the spirit, water referring to the spiritual realm of the soul; and ice, solid or hard, referring to the realm of appearance.   Glory to God!

It means to be hard; to have hard labor in childbirth; to harden; to make heavy.  It means to peel off bark, and especially by turning; hence to turn.  We studied here, not too long ago, that this realm of appearance is the substance that was the fallout from God’s separation from his son, turned inside out.   We talked about that.  It is a turning.   We were turned, so that we are the exact opposite, mirror image, standing across from one another as we would stand across from a mirror if we wanted to see ourselves.  We are standing face to face with God.  This whole realm of appearance is standing face to face with the realm of God, only we cannot see them.

He can see us, but we cannot see Him. When we look in a mirror, we see an accurate reflection of what we look like.   When spirit, which has no form or shape, looks in a mirror or in the spiritual mirror that God has erected, what he sees, God help him, is us.   We are the exact mirror image of the spiritual life that we reflect.  Let us see what I am talking about here.  Alternate Translation of the first half of Genesis 49:7;  Their emotional displeasure is detestable.  Why?  Because it has strength.   It has strength to do what?  It had the strength to kill the man.   Why is it detestable?  Because it is destructive.  Their passionate outburst is detestable, also.  Why?  Because it made the living soul hard.   It caused the living soul to pierce through into the realm of appearance, where we are subject to Satan, the prince of the power of the air, until we are delivered by the Lord Jesus Christ.   Their emotional displeasure is detestable, because it had the strength to kill.  Their passionate outburst is detestable, also, because it caused the living soul to cross over, and be separated from God, and become hard.

I just want to make one more comment on the previous word.  As much as a contradiction as this sounds like, it was all the plan of God, because when the living soul became hard, that was part of the plan for Him to multiply into many members.  I know I have talked to you about this before, God permits us to fall into sin.   We know we cannot do anything without the power of God.   We cannot be righteous without Him.   We cannot do anything without Him, but knowing this, when we sin, He still calls sin, sin.   He tells us that it is detestable and He judges it.   Even though we were utterly too weak to stand up and not sin, and He knows it, He still calls it detestable, and judges it.   Glory to God!

The Lord has permitted this whole realm of sin, and every wickedness happening in it, for a season, for the specific purpose of the living soul multiplying into many members.  When the specific number of members has been reached, and when the time is right, Jesus Christ is going to appear in every member, swallowing it up, and making it righteous, and restoring it to the spiritual realm of God.   It can be likened to a potter making a pot.  He takes the sand or the earth, and the water, and he mixes it together, and he makes a form which could be likened to the mind of man.  To make it permanent he rolls it into the heat of the fire, and he keeps it there until it bakes into permanency.   It is not usable while it is in the fire.   We cannot use the pot while it is in the fire.   We have to take it out of the fire, cool it, and then it becomes a functional vessel.   This is what is happening to the living soul, except that it is the exact opposite.  We are not being lowered into the fire.  The fire is the realm of  the Spirit of God.  We were originally formed in the fire, and we were lowered into the cold.   This is the cold.   The realm of appearance is the cold.  When we are formed perfectly, the fire is coming to us, and He is getting inside of us again, and we are going to be raised back up into the realm of the fire, and forever, we shall be with the lord.

I am continuing with the second half of the King James Version of Genesis 49:7.  I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.   The word divide is Strong's #2505 and it means to be smooth.  It is used of smooth stone.  The way they get that definition, to divide, is that in Bible days smooth stones were used for casting lots.  It is not scriptural, but this is how it was because they did not have the Holy Spirit.  If they wanted to find out what the lord was saying, each man took a stone, probably with his name on it, and they threw it into the pot.  The priest chose a stone, and that was how they knew which one the lord was choosing.   So because of that use of the smooth stone, the definition has been attributed to this word of meaning, to divide; to distribute; to separate oneself into parts.

I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. The word scatter is Strong's #6327, and it means to dash in pieces, especially to disperse.  What comes to my mind, as I studied this, was the breaking down into our basic spiritual parts, being broken out of our wrong moral order for the purpose of being restored to the right moral order.  I would like to remind you that Jacob and Israel are two different names for the same man.  It is my understanding that God changed Jacob's name when he made him a spiritual man.   Jacob refers to the flesh man that was Isaac's son, and when Jacob had an experience with God, and was apprehended by God Almighty, his name was changed to Israel.   Yet throughout the scriptures and the prophets, we hear God referring to both Jacob and Israel.  I suggest to you that what the Lord is doing is that when He is referring to the natural descendants of Jacob, He calls them Jacob.  When He is referring to the spiritual life of Jacob, He refers to the same group of people as Israel, but He is referring to them spiritually.  Let us see what we have here.

Alternate Translation of the second half of Genesis 49:7.   I will separate them into many members through the natural man Jacob.   He is going to procreate.   He is going to have wives, and concubines, and he is going to be separated into many members through his natural man.  Also, I will break down their incorrect moral order through the spiritual man, Israel.   I will separate them into many members through the natural man Jacob, and I will break down their incorrect moral order through the spiritual man, Israel.  As Israel submits to God, that is what is going to happen to him.  He is going to be disbursed, broken down, and rearranged so that he becomes qualified to serve Almighty God.  You might recall Jacob's encounter with the angel.  We have tape on it called Jacob Prevailed.   Jacob could not submit to the spiritual man within and he was struggling.   His spiritual man appeared, and the natural man was at war with him to the extent that they struggled all night long.   They struggled all night long, and Jacob finally said to the spiritual man, I do not know who you are, but I demand that you bless me.  After to what you put me through, I demand that you bless me.  What did the angel do, who was the Christ within?   He crippled him.

Jacob said, I demand a blessing, and Christ crippled him.  We just had a whole message on this recently, about the blessing of God.  If you want to put the blessings of God in one expression, it is to be brought into obedience by the authority of God, and then all things shall be added onto you.  If you are having a really hard life, and you are going through a really hard time, and you know that God is in it, working through these hard times to humble you, and teach you, and train you, you are blessed of God, and you are in the midst of receiving the blessing that Jacob demanded from the angel.   You are spiritual Israel, and you are in the process of being brought into obedience to the spirit of God, within you.   Brethren, there is no easy way to go.   Your adamic man will not give you over, and he has to be broken, and crushed, and you are one with him.  If you want to become a spiritual man, and receive the blessings, and the promises that God made to Abraham, which is the seed of Abraham, which is spiritual Israel, you must be broken, and crushed, and there is no easy way.  If you are looking at other Christians that have a great life, all that it means is that their number is not up yet.   That is all that it means.   There is no easy way to go.   It is a hard word.   I am going through a rough time myself, but there is just no other way.

I will separate them into many members through the natural man, Jacob, and break down their incorrect moral order through the spiritual man, Israel.   Hallelujah!  Israel is going to come forth within Jacob and break him down.   Hallelujah!  The spiritual man will rise within our very beings, and appear and go to war with our natural man.   Alternate Translation of Genesis 49:7; Their emotional displeasure is detestable, because it has strength.  It has the strength to kill.  It killed Adam.  Their passionate outburst is detestable, also, because it made the living soul hard.  I will separate them.  Who?  Jacob.  I will separate them into many members through the natural man, Jacob, and I will break down their incorrect moral order when the spiritual man, Israel, rises in their heart.  Glory to God!

Recap; Simeon and Levi.   Simeon, the son of God, who appeared in the earth, and Levi, the living soul that he was part of, and attached to, have the same father.   Their swords, the forms their spiritual life, or strength took, after they pierced through into the realm of appearance are unjust, immoral and unethical vessels.   Let my soul not agree with the council of the carnal mind.  Let my spirit, not be joined with him, because in their rage against the restraints God placed upon satisfying the emotions and lust in their mind, they killed the living soul.  In satisfying the emotions and lust in their mind, they have rendered the human spirit incapable of bringing forth the Christ, thus plucking up the kingdom of God by the roots.

Their emotional displeasure is detestable, because it has strength, and their passionate outburst is detestable, also, because it made the living soul hard.   I will separate them into many members through the natural man, Jacob, and break down their incorrect moral order when the spiritual man, Israel, appears in their heart.  Glory to God!

Summary of characteristics of spiritual Simeon and Levi.   They typified the living soul, and the son of God, who is part of him, and dwelling within him, in seed form.   They typify the passion and lust raging in the carnal minds of men.  This account of Simeon and Levi speaks of the sin, which resulted in God’s creation appearing in the realm of appearance.   They also typified the struggle in the mind of every son of God, not to yield to the carnal mind.  This account of Simeon and Levi speaks of the human spirits joining to Satan, which plucked up the kingdom of God, by its roots.  It also speaks of God’s promise to multiply the living soul, and then restore it to the correct moral order, and raise it back up to the realm of the Spirit of God.  We are going to have some time, so we are going to do Benjamin today. It looks like next week would be the last message on the 12 tribes.   We will finish up with Dan and Issachar, Lord willing!  Right now we will do Benjamin in Genesis 49:27.

King James Version of Genesis 49:27.   Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning, he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.  Benjamin is Strong's #1144 and it means son of the right hand.   I do not have any knowledge of this being in the New Testament.  Now for many years I would read in the Old Testament about God talking about left handed men.  When God makes a point like that, it is not for no reason.   He would say there were so many brave men that went to war with David, and they were all left-handed.  I am pretty sure that is the scripture, David’s most valiant warriors, and they were left handed men.  I never knew what it meant, but God finally gave me the understanding.  If you are left handed, and you hold God’s hand, you are going to be holding God's right hand.   God's right hand is the hand of blessing, and his left hand is the hand that pours out judgment upon you.

If you are favored by God, and He is holding your left hand, that means you are in his right hand of blessing.   If God is holding your left hand, He is holding it with His right hand of blessing.   If you are right-handed, God is holding you with His left hand of judgment.  That is the significance of being left handed.  You are being held by God’s right hand of blessing.  I find that very interesting because I do not know if anybody would disagree with me, but based on my life experience, every time I have ever heard of a child being left handed, the parents are usually not happy about it.  I do not know if they are doing it today, but years ago, they used to try to change the child’s natural inclination, and force them to hold the utensils and their pencils in their right hand.  Man seems to have decided there is something adverse about it, but the Scripture says that if you are left handed, you are in the right hand of God’s blessings.   I wonder how things get switched around like that.

Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf.  The word ravin is Strong's #2963, and it means to pluck off or pull to pieces.  When a wolf feeds, the first thing he does is kill the carcass, and then he  just plucks it off a piece at a time.  What we are talking about is the breaking down into many pieces.   We are talking about just pulling to pieces, and I am going to use it here as breaking the living soul into many members.  That is how it is going to be used here.  Now the wolf is a sign of ungodly spiritual power.   John 10:12; But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.  The wolf is a type of demonic power whose purpose is to devour the sheep.   Glory to God!  And we know that the sheep typify God’s people.   Hallelujah!  Let us see what we have got here.

Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf.  Benjamin is going to be plucking God's people into pieces.   There is going to be a time in the life or the existence of the living soul for this.   It is typified by Benjamin, where he is going to be breaking a carcass into many members.  We see that going on in the earth today.  Man is being divided into many members, and God says when He looks at it from a spiritual view point, is that he took one carcass and he is breaking it into many members.   Glory to God!  The wolf thinks that these many members are going to be for his consumption.  He does not know it, and when he hears it, he does not believe it, that after he has done all the work, after he has broken the carcass down into the many members, he is not going to consume the flesh.  The flesh is going to be consumed by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Benjamin show ravin as a wolf.   In the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.   This word devour is Strong's #398.  It merely means to eat or consume.  This word prey is Strong's #5706.   It is only translated prey three times, and Strong's says that it is the aim of the attack, but what it is really talking about is the end.  If you go out and do something, even if you play basketball, which is a war-like game, your aim is to win the game.  It is talking about the result of the effort that you are putting forth.  If you are a hunter, and you go out hunting with your bow and arrow, or with your gun, you could spend a whole day in the woods.  You could camp out; you can have fellowship; you can enjoy yourself, but the result that you are trying to accomplish from spending that whole day is to bring home a deer.  This word prey typifies the end of your effort.   Glory to God!

In the morning he shall devour the prey.  In the morning he shall consume the aim of his activity.   Glory to God!  The aim of his activity; I will comment on that in a few minutes.  At night he shall divide the spoil.   The word divide is Strong's #2505, and it is the same word we just discussed.   It means to be smooth.  It is referring to smooth stones.  It means to deal; distribute; to separate self.  Now this word spoil, although it sounds like the same word prey, it is a different word.   It is Strong's #7998, and this means booty or gain.   In other words,  you go out, and rob somebody, or you make a raid, and get cattle like they did in Bible days.  You would get meals.  The Hebrews did not do it, but certain tribes would bring back slaves.  That is the intent here of booty and prey.  It is frequently used of cattle taken under these circumstances.

I Samuel 15:19 and 21; Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD.  We are dealing with the word, spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD.  This is Samuel talking to Saul and the evil that he did in verse 21.  But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen.  There is your proof that this word spoil is used to describe animals.   The chief of the things, which guards it, should have been utterly destroyed.  We are dealing with the phrase; and at night he shall divide the spoil.   I am going to use it here, as sheep and oxen, and I am going to suggest to you what the Scripture is referring to is the natural man; the natural man described as sheep and oxen.

I hope I am not losing you.   Let me try and make this a little clearer.  Benjamin; he is going to pull in pieces as a wolf.   He is going to separate the living soul into many members.   The morning is the hour when Christ appears.   When there is no sign of Christ, we are in total darkness, and spiritually, God describes that as the night.  The Scripture says in the morning when Christ appears, he is going to consume the living soul, but in the night he shall divide the spoil.   I wanted to show you the spiritual application of this word spoil.

We are still with the word spoil, Strong's #7998.  Judges 5:30 is an account of Sisera.   Sisera was an enemy of Israel.  He was a captain in the army of this aggressive nation when Israel was under bondage to it.  The Hebrews cried out to God for deliverance, and God raised up a judge whose name was Deborah.   She led the Hebrews in warfare against Sisera, and his forces.  Sisera was then personally killed by a woman, the wife of Heber, whose name was Jael.  She killed him by putting a nail through his head.  We can analyze that spiritually.  The spiritual significance of that is that Jesus Christ is the nail.   I am not going to go into it now.   I think I have it in other messages.   He is the nail.   He is the vehicle by which we remain.  We are joined permanently to the realm of appearance, and we are all striving for incorruption, where we will never leave this realm of appearance because our body and our soul dies.

Jesus Christ is the nail.  The word nail, that is used in this account, is the nail that was used to nail the tents to the ground, so that they could not blow away.  Jesus Christ is the nail that will nail us permanently to this realm of appearance.  This nail was put through the head, or the mind of Sisera, who typified the carnal man, the wild ranging beast, adam, who was ruled by Satan.  He was killed when the nail, Jesus Christ, was put through his mind.   Hallelujah!

This is the song of the lament that Sisera's mother sings after he died in Judges 5:30; they have not divided the prey.   The word prey is used three times and the word spoil is all used in this one verse. They are all the Hebrew word, spoil, Strong's #7998.  They are all the same word.  Have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours.  What he got was a prey of divers colours.   We know divers colours refers to the Spirit of God in the realm of appearance.   A prey of divers colours of needle work; a prey of the Spirit of God; the spoil of war of the Spirit of God, that was woven of diverse colours of needle work, that was woven on both sides.  We studied in the Book of Revelation that the scroll that the angel had was written on both sides, referring to the soul and the body.

I will read it again.   Have they not divided the prey; the spoils of war.  The spoils of what war?  We are talking about spiritual implication now; the spoils of the war between Christ and Adam.  To every man, a damsel or two.  Every spiritual man, every spirit is going to get a soul, and this says or two.  Or two is not in the Hebrew, but I am not going to get into that.  I do not know what it means.   To Sisera; typifying the corporate living soul, he is going to get a spoil.   His reward for the warfare is going to be a gain of diverse colours.   He is going to gain the Spirit of God, a prey of diverse colours that is woven.  We know that God is weaving a garment of diverse colours of needle work woven on both sides; meet for the necks of them that take the spoil.   What this is saying is that when the corporate living soul dies, when the nail is put through his mind, he is going receive the bridal, or the cover of Almighty God.   He is going to receive the bridal, or the cover of Almighty God, but only when he dies.

So we see the spiritual application of this word spoil.   It is a gain from the warfare, and the scripture that we are dealing with is, that at night, he shall divide the spoil.  I think I mentioned the living soul to you.  Let me just read you my note in case I left something out.   This is a song of mourning, a eulogy of Sisera’s mother, who typifies the reproductive parts of the living soul.   She brought forth the living souls as we see it today.   Sisera typified Adam and upon his death, there was hung upon his neck, a gain of war made of diverse colours, the garment of God's life.  That means that the gain of war is God’s garment being hung upon him; utterly subdued militant living soul.

This is saying, in adam’s death, the spoil of war that he shall gain is that the bridle of God shall be hung upon him.  In his death he shall indeed live through Christ.  This is what we are talking about.   Let us try and see what God is saying.   I am going to read you my alternate translation on this, and then if I think it is not clear, we will talk about it again.  I want you to know before I read it, that I switched the morning and the night, because it seemed to be in the wrong order.   I am going to put the night time first.   Benjamin shall break the living soul into many members, like a wolf tears the dead animal carcass for food.   At night, in the hour that the living soul has military strength, he shall separate her.  Who?  The living soul.   He shall separate the living soul into many members, polishing each member, she, whom upon her death will be placed under the bridle of the living God. In the morning, when Christ appears, he shall swallow her up.

What we are saying here is that Benjamin is typifying both the living soul before Christ joins to him and after Christ joins to him.   We are saying that Benjamin is going to do the work of the living soul.   He is going to multiply.   He is going to break it into many pieces and when the living soul has power, he is going to be polishing the stones of the many members that he breaks them into. That means that Benjamin is going to take part in the work of Satan towards the human race.   He is going to be used to do evil deeds that will reveal spiritual weakness in men so that they can be polished, and cleansed, and dealt with by God.

Nevertheless, when Christ appears in Benjamin.   What this is saying is that Christ shall appear in Benjamin.  He shall be one with Christ, and he shall swallow up the living soul.    Yes, he shall pull the living soul in pieces as a wolf who desires to devour the prey, but he shall not devour her as an illegal living soul.   He shall indeed devour her when Christ comes forth in him.   He is going to do it, but not in the way that he planned.   Adam is going to rule, but not in his own power, but only when Christ rules through him.  Let me read you this alternate translation again.

Benjamin shall break the living soul into many members like a wolf tears the dead animal carcass for food.   At night, in the hour that the living soul has military power, he shall separate her into many members polishing each member through trials and tribulations, of she, whom upon her death will be placed under the bridle of the living God.   In the morning, when Christ appears, he shall no longer be used against her as an adversary, but he shall join with Christ and swallow her up.   So Benjamin typifies the living soul from its beginning, when it is criminal, and even in its criminal condition still doing the work of the Lord, until the time when it is converted and becomes one with Christ.

Summary of characteristics of spiritual Benjamin.   It typifies the reproductive strength of adam.  It typifies the positive nature of life in the soul realm perfecting us.   It typifies the positive nature of Satan’s vexation towards men, perfecting us, and it typifies the end of the living soul in relation to God.   The living soul shall become one with God.   Glory to God!  Our human spirit shall join with Christ and the soul shall be swallowed up.   I wanted to give you a scripture reference here, but apparently I forgot to put it down.   There is an account, I believe, in the Book of Judges, where the tribe of Benjamin is involved in a horrendous situation with a man, a Levi priest, who I believe was travelling through the territory of Benjamin with a concubine.

This group of Benjaminites flocked to the door of the Levi Priest.  He was visiting with someone, and they wanted him for homosexual purposes.  The Levi Priest says to them, do not do this dastardly thing.  I have a young woman here, you can have her.  You know, there is another account of that.  I used to really get upset when I read these things.  We have to get some kind of understanding, and the only thing that I could see about that now, that gives me any peace, is that these men knew that homosexuality was such an abomination before God.  I have heard preachers preach that sin is sin.  There is no difference whether you lie, or whether you kill somebody, because sin is sin.  I do not think that, that is true.

Here we see Levi priests taking a stand that homosexuality is such an abomination before the Lord, that they would turn a young virgin woman over to commit fornication, rather than to commit homosexuality.  I do not believe they did this to save their own hides.  I do not think they turned the woman over, rather than be used themselves.  They were just aware of what an abomination homosexuality was.  We have to get spiritual.  The young woman typifies the human spirit.  I guess the man typifies adam.  I do not want to get into that any more deeply, but this is what happened.    He turned over his young concubine, and this group of men, the Scriptures say, they used her, and they abused her all night long.  They did not just have sex with her once.

In the morning, she literally crawled to the doorstep of her lord, and when she arrived, she died.  He picked her up, and he cut her body with the bones into pieces, and he sent a piece of the flesh to each of the tribe of Israel, to say, look at this abomination that goes on in the tribe of Benjamin.  The other tribes came and made war against Benjamin.  They all but wiped them out, if you read the account.  They killed all of the men, the only reason Benjamin survived was that the men of the other Hebrew tribes felt bad, and they took some of the women as wives, so that Benjamin could reproduce again.  But for all intents and purposes, if you have female Benjaminites being impregnated by Hebrews of other tribes, you no longer have a pure Benjaminite strain.

For those of you that have studied Bill Britton’s teachings on sonship, he claims another reason.  Benjamin typified the 42nd generation.  Benjamin typified the spiritual offspring of Joseph, which are coming forth in this hour.  We are not a pure breed, brethren.  The whole point here that I am trying to make is that Benjamin typifies an aspect of the living soul, whereby it can be vicious and criminal, and used to perform satanic purposes upon men to reveal what they are made of.   In other words, when the option came to the other tribes as to whether or not they would make war, they had a choice as to whether or not they would do righteousness.  This horrible experience performed by Benjamin was an opportunity for the men of the other tribes to show what kind of stuff they were made out of.  Every horrible thing that we go through, and everything that Satan puts us through, is an opportunity for us to show God what we are made out of.

What I am trying to say, and having trouble getting it out, is that Benjamin typified the living soul in its changing roles.  The living soul at the beginning was criminal.  After the fall, it was criminal.  It was capable of doing all of the criminal acts of the human race.  All you have to do is pick up a history book, but at the end, Christ is going to appear in the living soul.  When the human spirit joins with it, the living soul will be permitted to partake, with Christ, of devouring the soulish realm of man.  Despite all of this criminal activity, he is going to be redeemed too.  He is going to be redeemed too.  The whole living soul is going to be redeemed, despite his criminal activity, he shall be redeemed when Christ appears in him.  Apparently, the worst kind of criminal activity, spiritual, criminal, or physical carnality activity, does not preclude you from being raised up to the high realms of the spirit when Christ appears in you.

If you are around any religious people that tell you people cannot be saved because they did this, or they did that, it is not true.  I have had people say it to me, how can God forgive someone that did these terrible things?  Well brethren, He is forgiving.  He will, and He shall.  He has, He is, and He shall.  You better forgive them, too, if you want to go on with God, because He shall appear in the most criminal of men, convert their souls, and be glorified in them.  He shall.  Glory to God.  Any questions?
