COMMENT: In Proverbs, in the thirtieth chapter, I had a question. I do not understand it, I think I understand it. It says the spider can be caught with the hand, yet it is found in the King's palaces. Proverbs thirty, twenty-eight.

 

PASTOR VITALE: It is very hard to teach the Old Testament without looking up the words in Hebrew. I can just give you a general meaning. Obviously, the spider represents evil, she had taken hold of the minds of men, and she is in the King's palaces, which means the people in whom the mind of Christ is dwelling, the carnal mind is still there. She is still doing evil, and she is still trying to lay hold of that man even though he has the mind of Christ.

 

The carnal mind is present in the most intense anointing. In the most intense corporate outpouring, the carnal mind is present, and it is capable of speaking to you in the height of the anointing. There is only one thing that will silence the mouth of your carnal mind and that is an imparted anointing, by which Christ in your mind arises in you and utterly crushes that carnal mind.

 

Any corporate anointing that is coming froth in a group like this, that is coming forth because I am preaching and I have an anointing that, at least at this stage, that I know is the strongest strength that the anointing in me has is that it will slay you in the spirit, and you will fall asleep.

 

I would not in anyway give anyone any hope that the anointing in a meeting such as this could crush your carnal mind to the point of making it speechless. If you think that every voice you hear in a meeting like this is Christ, you are mistaken because the spider taketh hold in King's palaces and will speak in a meeting like this and say "I am Christ, obey me." XXXXX.

 

I am sorry that XXXX is the one that got it. I make a general announcement. We have got to stop this. When the Holy Ghost speaks, I am not just chattering my mouth, there is a message for somebody here. Every word that comes out of my mouth is for at least one person here.

 

It is very important, and Satan will rise up and distract the exact person that the word is for. I cannot have it. I am sorry it has just been going on for the last few weeks and poor XXXXX just got it. I cannot have it from anybody. It has just got to stop. We are all adults here, and it just so happens that the one who was distracted is the one the message was for.

 

That is what got me mad. It was for you. I have been telling you over the years that there are benefits to a small group, and there are disadvantages to a small group. I was raised up in a church with two hundred people, and if we wanted to talk we went into the back and we chit chatted. The pastor really could not see us, or we did not distract him. He did not say anything.

 

In a small group, I see everything you do, plus it distracts me when I am trying to preach. That is the least of it. This is a heavily anointed ministry. Every single word that comes forth is for somebody and it is important. If you miss one word, you have missed something.

 

Now when it comes to someone like XXXX, she is not responsible. We are not supposed to be responding to her. Please, everybody get it together for your own good. I am here trying to help you. My message tonight is that the appearance of the Son of God is eminent. It is very close. I am not against you, I am for you, all of you. We are living in a very serious hour, very serious.

 

We are having a false message being preached in the church. A false message that says, "You just come up to an alter call, you dance up and you say, I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and you can die in peace and know you are going to wake up in heaven." Brethren, my Bible says that if the righteous are scarcely saved, how is the ungodly and the sinner going to be saved?

 

My Bible says that those who are righteous... What does that mean? Those who are walking to the best of their ability in the law of God, people that are in Church four night a week, living this thing for twenty years, they are scarcely saved, hardly saved. It is a difficult, intensely difficult work to save them. How about the ungodly and the sinner? What kind of a chance do they stand?

 

There is a false message in the Church, and I love all of you. Sometimes I get mad at you, but I love you all. I am just a human being, and when I see you doing something that is hurting yourself, sometimes I get mad. The day I do not get mad, you will know I am in full stature, right? Well look, this is a very serious time that we are living in, a very serious time, and I have told you this before. I am going to say it again. I do not know how long it is going to be before the Lord appears, but what I do know is this, that everybody that is called to stand up in full stature, every one who is called to perfection and what is perfection?

 

Everyone who is called to have Christ, the mind of Christ, imparted to them and destroy their carnal mind who is presently killing you. Everyone who is called to that. If they are not in on the training now, or the door is about to close on entering into the training period, you have to start training now, or you will not be ready. How much longer it is going to take, I do not know, and it is very possible that it is not going to take everybody the same amount of time. It may not take everybody the same amount of time. God knows, and if you are here that means you are out of time. Whoever you are. You, you, you, whoever you are.

 

If you are here now you better get in now, or you are not going to have enough time to prepare. God knows how much time you need. It is a very serious hour. It is a glorious hour. We need to know that salvation is not what is being preached in the church. The message tonight is on salvation, it you would like to know the name of the message it is, Saved: Who, What & How?

 

There is a false message in the church, brethren. What you have heard is a lie, it is a lie. Glory to God.

 

I do have a message for you tonight. As I told you, the name is Saved: Who, What and How? I would like to share an old Scripture with you tonight. God just gave it to me in the middle of this study. It really does not belong here, but I feel if the Lord gives me something, that I would like to share it with you. He showed me today 1st Thessalonians, Chapter 4, Verse 14. Most of us have read this Scripture and studied it many times. He just gave it to me today. I think the hour is very late.

 

I just like to go over it with you briefly. Verse 14 through Verse 17. "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again..." Please let me point out to you that the Scripture says "Jesus." It does not say "Jesus Christ of Nazareth." It does not say "Christ." It does not say "Christ Jesus." It says "Jesus." Jesus, the soul man, died and He rose again, because the Father raised Him from the dead. "If you believe that, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with them."

 

How could you sleep in Jesus? The Scripture does not say sleeping in Christ, and we know that Christ died at the beginning of time. Christ is the mind that is in the creation.

 

I want to suggest to you that those who sleep in Jesus are the entire human race, the entire human race. Because those who sleep in Jesus. Jesus is the man who was raised from the dead who has now been glorified, who is now being poured out of His spirit upon all humanity. He is the seed of God that when it enters into our heart causes a new mind to be born in us. He is the first begotten of the what? Anybody? Of the what?

 

COMMENT: Inaudible

 

PASTOR VITALE: No. Well that is true, but, OK that is not fair, that is true also. He is the first begotten of the dead. He is the first human being to be raised up out of the death of this world system. The name of this world system is? Hell. This is it, right here. You do not have to die to get there. You are in it right now.

 

He is the first man to be delivered out of hell. That is why we cannot see Him, we cannot see Him in His glorified condition. Right now He is in another realm, on another plane. You want to get Star Trekkie on me, He is in another dimension. We see Him today through human beings who are not yet perfect. He was the first man.

 

Now there is only one living soul, and we liken this living soul to a house plant that has one root and many leaves. He was the first leaf that made it into another realm. The whole plant is going to go because when the Father raised Him from the dead, He raised the root of the plant and what happens to the root of the plant must eventually happen to the entire plant. If the root dies, does not the leaves die? If the root is fertilized, does not the leaves prosper? Do you fertilize the leaves? No, you fertilize the root. The root is the controlling factor of the leaves.

 

"All those who sleep in Jesus," I suggest to you, are the rest of the human race who must manifest the resurrected life of the Lord Jesus Christ, because the root of the plant has been saved. Any questions? I will take questions as we go on, on this issue.

 

It has got to show. It has got to show. The root has been saved. It has got to work its way out to the human race as we know it. It has to, it must.

 

"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him." We will take all the other leaves also. Verse Fifteen. "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain into the coming of the Lord." We which are alive and remain.

 

I want to suggest to you that the correct translation is, "That part of us which is alive and remains after the chastening." What part of us is the only part of us that contains true life? The spirit, our human spirit, that part of us which is alive.

 

Why is it alive? Because what? Anybody remember? Why is our spirit alive? Because Christ has been formed in us and is that part of us which remains. When Christ is formed in you what does He do to your carnal mind? He kills it. That part of us which is alive and remains after the fire burns down the whole house.

 

"We shall not prevent them which are asleep..." We shall not go before those who are asleep. What does that mean? It means that we are not going to be glorified before those who have not yet been raised from the dead, because you may recall the teaching that we shall each stand up in full stature. Each man in his own order, as each of us have been reconciled unto God, as each of us have received the Holy Ghost individually or as an individual personal experience, we shall stand up in full stature. Which means? What is full stature, anybody? Anybody like to define full stature? Anybody like to try?

 

COMMENT: The mind of Christ.

 

PASTOR VITALE: The mature mind of Christ, which has taken such dominion over the carnal mind that we have now become incapable of sin.

 

You can have a mature mind of Christ, but if you remember the teachings that came forth on the temptation, it is not enough to have a mature mind of Christ. He does not count until He takes over and crushes your carnal mind. Maybe that is not a good way to say it, "He does not count." He cannot be counted onto perfection until that maturity has totally overcome the carnal mind. Let us put it that way.

 

The glorification shall be as one man, when every human being on the face of the earth is in full stature, at the given time when the Lord says the whole creation shall be caught up into glorification. I want to suggest to you that we are not really fully born again until we are even glorified. The resurrection is in three stages. Now when you enter into the first stage of resurrection, you are God because He is living through you. He is living His life through you. Your carnal life has been completely crushed. You are not fully born again until you are glorified.

 

What Paul is saying here is that do not worry that some of us are in full stature and some of us are not. We are entering in... the whole creation is entering into the final stage as one man. Why? Because we are, in fact, one man. That is what he is saying.

 

Verse 16, "For the Lord Himself..." ...Now that is the glorified Lord Jesus Christ who is now pure spirit... "shall descend from heaven with a shout." He is coming down from heaven into where? He is coming down from the spiritual realm, which is known as Heaven. Where will He be coming down to? The soul realm, well yes, hell. Yes. Hell is the soul realm. That is true, hell is the soul realm. It is the soul realm. That is where He is coming down to. Exactly. He is coming down with a shout. He is coming down and that shout is a shout of war.

 

What that suggests is that, that there is now power in the church to fight the carnal mind and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. The Scripture clearly states that without Christ, we have no power against any...He could do what ever He wants with us. You think you are your own man? You are not your own man. He does anything he wants through you. When Christ comes down with a shout, it is a shout of war. If you think that in this hour anyway, that things are going to change overnight, you are mistaken. It is just not that way, not right now, anyway.

 

It is a war, and you have to wage it, and you have been given power and authority in Christ. You must fight, you must overcome, you must take the victory, and if you mess up once, you stand up and you try again, because if you fight you must overcome, if you fight you cannot be defeated in the long run. You can lose a battle, but you cannot lose the war. You must fight.

 

"The Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout." He is coming down into hell, and He is yelling, "Watch out Satan, here I come." He is coming down with the voice of the archangel. The archangel is Christ. With the trumpet of God, and the trumpet of God is the doctrine, the trumpet is the doctrine. Cannot leave out the doctrine, because the truth is going to set you free. Neither are you saved by doctrine alone. You must have Christ, and you must have the Lord Jesus Christ. I should say that you must have the Lord Jesus Christ, and you must have Christ, and you must have the doctrine.

 

"The dead in Christ shall rise first." Now I want to tell you what the Lord told me. I cannot prove it to you, you pray about it. You say "yea" or "nay." I checked this out in both my Greek lexicons and both of my Greek lexicons say, "Dead in Christ." That Greek word translated "in" is there. I want to tell you what God told me. God told me that, that Scripture should read, "And the dead in Christ shall rise, and the dead Christ shall rise." Christ who died at the beginning of time when the creation fell, He is dead, and in His dead form in you He is called?

 

COMMENT: Inaudible

 

PASTOR VITALE: No. The dead Christ is the human spirit, and He is going to be raised from the dead when the drop of water touches Him. When the rain touches Him and the name of the rain is?

 

COMMENT: The Holy Spirit.

 

PASTOR VITALE: . The Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the same thing. He is going to ... that scent of water is going to touch that human spirit, and the dead Christ shall rise. Hallelujah. The next word says, "First, the dead Christ shall rise first..." ...and what the Lord told me as I looked it up in the Greek, the Lord told me what it is saying is, "And the dead Christ shall rise and become, or be born and be the first born." "The dead Christ shall rise and be the first born."

 

Now the first born is the one who has the authority. Who is in charge of this creation right now? The first born or the second born? The second born is in charge right now. He is ascending, He is arising, He is going past the authority of this world. He is going above it, He is taking over, the first born. Well, He is going above it. When the dead Christ shall rise, and that Greek word translated "rise" means "to be born again." Means to be born, means to be revived.

 

The implication is that somebody died, was being born again, and He is being born again as the first born. He is coming into His position of authority. I remind you that in the Scripture, the first born inherits all things, all things. The second born has no inheritance. For years Europeans, I do not know if they did it in America or not, for years Europeans followed this Scriptural example. If there were five sons, the first born inherited everything, and the other four sons were at the mercy of their brother.

 

If he was a good man, if he was a Christian man, he gave his brothers some land. A lot of people tear down the Christian religion and they say, "This is not fair, this is not right." Maybe down here in this fallen place it is not right, it does not seem right to us. Everything in this book is an example for us to understand how spiritual things work.

 

I want to tell you something. I am real glad, I am real glad that this creation is not getting any inheritance. I am real glad that Jesus of Nazareth and Christ in us, as He pierced through us is the first born, that He has got full control and authority over everything. That makes me real happy and peaceful.

 

Because we have a first born, we have a first born, first born in power right now that hates us. Our carnal mind hates us. The Scripture clearly states, you will hear it tonight, he hates us. The dead Christ shall rise again and be and appear as the first born, take His position of preeminence as the first born. Then that part of us which is alive and remains after the burning of our soul... God help us. Who is going to burn our soul? Christ. The fire is Christ.

 

When the mind of Christ enters into you, a consuming fire has entered into your mind, and He will burn that wicked carnal mind and the entire city that He dwells in. There is only one problem. We are in it when He is burning it. If you think you are dancing your way up to those pearly gates, you have received a lie. You probably will be screaming your way up to those pearly gates. The only thing that matters, brethren, is that you enter in to the life of the ages, arm in arm in Christ.

 

"When we which are alive and remain after the chastening, shall be caught up together with them...."...with all the others in the spirit... "in the clouds to meet, the Lord in the air..." which is the realm of the spirit... "So shall we ever be with the Lord." That is the glorification. We are all going to be glorified together. That really blessed me. "And the dead Christ shall rise and be the first born." Hallelujah.

 

Any comments or questions on that before we go on? Anybody?

 

COMMENT: In the sixteenth verse, it is talking about the dead Christ shall rise, then in the seventeenth, it seems that, that is separate from the seventeenth. It said that, "We which." That is a different group then them before or is that not supposed to be there in the Greek?

 

PASTOR VITALE: I am sorry, I do not know what you said.

 

COMMENT: Verse sixteen was talking about.... you said the Lord revealed that, that was the dead Christ, that was dead from the foundation of the world was raised in our human spirit.

 

PASTOR VITALE: Right.

 

COMMENT: That would be the "we." Who is the next "we," when it says "them?" We which...

 

PASTOR VITALE: No, that is not the we, Christ...we are the soul man.

 

COMMENT: Right. In sixteen, right.

 

PASTOR VITALE: No, we are the soul man, the soul man. Christ is spirit. Verse sixteen says, "And the dead Christ." You are not the dead Christ, you are the soul man. The mind in you is Christ.

 

COMMENT: I see.

 

PASTOR VITALE: The mind in you is Christ. You are the "we." You are the soul, but your mind is Christ, and the reason you are confused is that the two are really one. It is like separating your heart from your lungs.

 

COMMENT: Inaudible.

 

PASTOR VITALE: Did I answer your question? Anybody else?

 

COMMENT: I have a comment also. Just this morning in the AA meeting we spoke about the same thing and this one girl, she even came up and gave the same Scripture.

 

PASTOR VITALE: Really?

 

COMMENT: Talked about being born again, because the one girl just lost her husband and another one, her father is dying. She is tormented by it. I started telling them about this. I am going to take five of these tapes and pass them out to them.

 

PASTOR VITALE: Praise the Lord. It is very close, brethren, there is no doubt in my mind it is going to be in our lifetime. it is upon us, it is upon us. What is confusing is that it is not going to be an event that is going to happen with the snap of your fingers. It is like it is taught, it is happening slowly and those in whom Christ is already being formed.

 

Those who are called to this first fruits company, Christ is ascending in them like the sun rises in the east. It is slowly.... He is slowly ascending to full noon or high noon in the sky. It is already happening. The sons are in the earth, Christ is engrafted, they are being formed, they are waging the warfare, and they are overcoming their carnal mind.

 

It is just a matter of time, it is just a matter of time. Every thing is being brought into place. For people who do not have spiritual eyes, one day they will open their eyes and say, "Where did this come from?" It must have happened in a moments time, in the twinkling of an eye.

 

The sons have been in preparation for their entire lives. Those who are called to this have been in preparation for their entire life times. Even before they knew the Lord, whatever their background is, whatever has happened to them, it was part of a plan that will be used to make them what they are.

 

God is raising up a company of people that are not only going to have spiritual power... you see, it is really easy for God to give you spiritual power. We see that in the old order churches. He can give anybody He wants, power. What takes time is the experiences and the accumulated knowledge that you get from experiences with different kinds of people, different aspects of life, different problems, overcoming all of those things. Not by the ways of the world, but by learning how to use the righteous power of God to overcome the evil in this world.

 

We have a lot of people making it in this world. They have overcome the evil in this world by the carnal ways of man. It is just one sin against another sin. To overcome unrighteousness with good, to overcome evil with good takes the miracle working power of the Lord Jesus Christ who we are about to see appearing on the face of the earth. The group of people, who not only have spiritual power, but who will have wisdom, and mercy, and compassion, because they will be able to relate to the suffering of the people in the world.

 

The Scripture clearly states, very few rich, very few educated, very few, very few. I want to say it again. That when this company arises, the church, the American church today, which is filled with intellectualism and humanism which glorifies a certain type of education is going to be very surprised at upon whom the power is resting. Let us try and preach this message.

MESSAGE

Saved: Who, What and How?

 

I have a series of Scriptures, I have broken them down into.... I guess.... I think five categories. Who is being saved? Saved from what? Saved by whom? Saved in what manner? The last category, I just call it "wisdom." I just picked out a couple of Scriptures that I thought would bless you in this study. I will comment on them.

 

Category one, who is being saved? Psalms 80, Verse 3. "Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine and we shall be saved." The Hebrew word translated "God" in this Scripture is "Elohim." I would like to suggest to you that in the Old Testament, Elohim is the word which means "Christ." Now, there must be a difference between Jehovah and Elohim, because if there were no difference there would not be two different words being used. God is not frivolous.

 

Those of you who were here for the study on the creation, which we began here, you may recall that Elohim was the name that was given to God in the soul realm. I suggest to you that Elohim is Christ. This verse says, "Turn us again, O Elohim, and cause thy face to shine and we (meaning Israel) shall be saved."

 

I would like to suggest to you, that what this verse is saying is, "Let the mind of Christ appear, and let it cover over our carnal mind." "Turn us, turn us." The concept of being turned means "to turn away from your carnal mind which is sin and turn towards righteousness which is in Christ." This phrase, "Cause thy face to shine," the word "face" indicated that part which is seen.

 

What this Psalm is saying, "Please, I do not like my carnal mind showing, turn us again, let your mind shine through us and we shall be saved." Salvation is in Christ. Salvation is through the crucifixion of the carnal mind when he is joined to Christ through piercing. Salvation is in the death of the carnal mind through Christ.

 

Brethren, if you answered an altar call, and you dance in church twice a week, and you think you are saved, you have been deceived. You have been lied to. You have bought that lie. Why? Because your carnal mind loves it. Your carnal mind loves the lie. Your carnal mind loves to think that you are better then the other guy out there who is not carrying his Bible around. The truth of the matter is that you are no better, that I am no better. We are all sinners, and we are all still dead.

 

We have hope. Those of us in whom Christ has been engrafted, we have hope. That hope is that Christ will be fully formed in us, will grow up to the fullness of the stature of the Lord Jesus Christ, and save us by killing our carnal mind. See, the whole world knows about the church, and they laugh at us. I know my Bible says that they were afraid of the Hebrew army. The people hid in their houses when they heard they were coming. No one is afraid of us. They mock us on the TV and in the streets.

 

There is sin in the church. God is getting ready to deal with that sin. What is the end of His dealing with that sin? Somebody?

 

COMMENT: Conception? Inaudible.

 

PASTOR VITALE: What? What? Yes, righteousness, perfection. Christ will be formed in us. Good things come out of it. Nobody loves the chastening. The result of it is the peaceable fruit of righteousness which will save your life. Nobody likes it. It is OK to cry when you are being whipped, because it hurts.

 

Jeremiah 30:7. "Alas, for that day is great so that none is like it. It is even the time of Jacobs trouble. He shall be saved out of it." I do not think that I made it clear in Psalms 83 that Israel is the one being saved. This category is the ones who are being saved. Israel is the one being saved.

 

I read a newsletter from a local Long Island preacher not too long ago. I think what she wrote just really saddened me. She was obviously in a doctrinal dispute over natural Israel. Well, it is true that there is a lot of anti-Semitism in the church, I know that. Anti-Semitism is a product of the mind of fallen man. I am not anti-Semitic, but my Bible says that circumcision is of the heart. Does your Bible say that? Does your Bible say that?

 

That the circumcision that makes you truly a Jew is the circumcision of the heart. My Bible says that if you are a human man, and if you are circumcised that does not make you Israel. Whether you are a natural Jew or whether you are not a natural Jew, if your heart is circumcised you are a member of Israel. That is what my Bible says. I do not know, some people do not have the same Bible.

 

Israel shall be saved. Let us review what that circumcision of the heart means?

 

COMMENT: Inaudible.

 

PASTOR VITALE: Well that is true, we have two hearts. Let me put that on the board again by way of review here. Every man is born with a heart. We draw it as a circle. Another name for that heart is what?

 

COMMENT: Carnal mind.

 

PASTOR VITALE: The carnal mind. The carnal mind is the heart of the fallen man. When Christ is conceived and He is conceived where?

 

COMMENT: Inaudible.

 

PASTOR VITALE: Out here? Inside, Christ is conceived and grows within the carnal mind, just as a fetus grows inside a woman's womb. The circumcision of the mind....circumcision of the heart, and this is the Christ mind, mind, heart. I am going to say it is the same thing, mind, heart. The circumcision of the heart, it is the circumcision of Christ. Christ is the only male mind. You cannot circumcise your carnal mind because she is female. Well they do it in Africa. She is female.

 

It is the circumcision of Christ. If your mind is Christ, you are a spiritual male, and when you get circumcised and God cuts your carnal mind off, you have entered into manhood. What does this mean? Full, full warfare authority, you become of age. I remind you, we have some authority in Christ now, but not very much. Jesus of Nazareth had a lot of authority. if you remember the teaching, all of His spiritual authority was used to heal, and to cast out demons, and to bring deliverance, and to do good works.

 

He was engaged in no warfare, He just did good, and when they tried to kill Him, He disappeared out of their midst. The only violence the man did was over-turning the table of the money changes. That, I suggest to you, was a natural human violence. We have no account that I know of in the Scripture of Jesus of Nazareth who was Christ, waging any spiritual warfare. All I hear Him doing is praying, saying "I do not do anything but what the Father tells me to do." You do not see Him killing anybody, do not see Him doing any damage to His worst enemies.

 

Immediately after His heart was circumcised, He came out and just His word knocked down His attackers. Knocked them to the ground. All He said was, "I am." They fell down. Full warfare authority after the circumcision. Now that does not mean we do not war, everybody here knows that we have spiritual warfare. I am talking about the real thing. What we have is a joke. Do not get me wrong. Sometimes, people misunderstand when I say things. It is a joke when you compare it to what we are striving for.

 

I thank God for the spiritual authority that we have. I cannot even imagine surviving without it. We are like children playing with toy swords. Why are we only allowed toy swords? Because probably, if we had full warfare authority, we would be killing each other. As we ascend to a place of full warfare authority, simultaneously, sin is being ripped out of our mind. God is not going to give you a weapon like that when you are about to kill your brother with it.

 

That full warfare authority is for one purpose only, to destroy the carnal mind and bring Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, into submission that this human race might be saved. It is not to kill men unless the Lord so desires. We are in a mature ministry here. I am not fooling any of you. Sometimes, God kills people. He killed Ananias and Sapphira. Sometimes He kills people. God can do it, we cannot do it.

 

Israel is being saved. The true Israel, every natural Jew is not being saved. Every natural human being is not being saved. Israel, every man whose heart is circumcised, shall be saved. Jacob is being saved. Alas for that day is great, so that none is like it. It is even the time of Jacobs trouble. He shall be saved out of it. Does anybody know the difference between Israel and Jacob? Anybody?

 

Jacob is the natural man and the natural seed, and Israel is the spiritual seed. Now Jacob is the one that is having the trouble, not Israel. Jacob is the natural aspect of the believer. We are the ones who are in labor. We are the ones who are in labor. We are having a lot of trouble. Those of us who are pregnant, we have great stress in our life, and trouble in our life, and hardship in our life. Oh, I hear the Pharisees screaming, "My Bible says endure hardship like a good soldier." Does your Bible say that?

 

I cannot see anywhere God is going to give me a Cadillac, must be written in invisible ink, because I cannot see it. Jacob is the natural man, natural aspect of the believer who is in great labor, great stress and distress as Israel who is within him and what is Israel? Israel is the soul that is being born in him, because as his mind changes from carnal to Christ, his soul, his emotions and his personality are also changing over.

 

Israel is the soul, Christ is the God in the midst of her. Jacob is the natural man. Jacob is travailing to bring forth a new soul or a renewed soul. It is the same soul. There is only one soul. When the carnal mind is replaced by the mind of Christ, the soul becomes renewed, because the soul is engraved in the image of the mind which is within it. Right now, we are in the process of having Satan's, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, engravings removed from our souls and being re-engraved with the mind of Christ, like they brand cattle. The cattle scream and yell, the cowboys hog tie them and brand them. Then they get up and run away.

 

We shall live and forever be with the Lord. I wish it was going faster, but we have nothing to say about it, brethren. Prevail, overcome. How is God glorified in you if you turn back now? I do not care how bad it may seem to you and I... if you think that I do not understand how bad it could be, you are mistaken, because some of you know what I have been through here.

 

I know how bad it can be. I will tell you the same thing I tell myself.... everything I was going through, you just got to go through, you just got to go through. There is no glory to God, there is no glory to yourself at all to turn back. Just keep on going. There is no place to run.

 

Just like that woman on the labor table. I hear some of them scream and yell and curse their husbands. I had a cesarean section, so I really never went through that, to tell you the truth. I heard some of them get really bad on the labor table. Just have to go through.

 

We are in Acts 2:21. "It shall come to pass that whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Wow. All I have to say is, "Hey Jesus." and I am going to be saved? Is that not what they are teaching you? They are not even saying that, they are not even saying "Jesus, save me." They are not even teaching you to say, "Jesus, save me." They are teaching you to choose Jesus, receive the Lord and you shall be saved. God, help us. It is just a miracle that He is as merciful as He is. What a manifestation of pride to think that we have an ability to choose or reject Almighty God. It is quite amazing the Lord loves us.

 

"It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Well, is that not what the Bible says? That is what the King James translation says. Oh I rebuke idolatry for the King James translation. The Greek word "call" translated Strong's 1941 and it means "to be called by His name, or to be declared, dedicated to Him." It is not what you say, it is what God says. Does God say that you are called by His name? Does God declare that you are dedicated to Him? If God is saying it, who is He saying it to? Who is God saying it to that you are called by His name? Who is He saying it to?

 

The Lord rebuke you Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, the Lord surely rebukes you. This is a brand, saved out of the fire. Let me tell you something, brethren, you are saved when the Lord gives you His name. His name is His spirit. You are saved when the Lord engraves His nature, and what is spirit? It is nature. You are saved when the Lord engraves His nature in your spirit. Do not tell me you are saved, and you go out and cheat the old widow in the church.

 

I know an assistant pastor once that ripped off an old lady that was widowed in his congregation for $10,000 dollars. We are not saved, brethren. You may be reconciled unto God, if you have has an experience with God. You may very well have been reconciled unto Him. What does that mean? You have been brought back into the relationship with Him, but you are still filthy.

 

We all are, so am I, filthy. You shall be saved when the name of the Lord appears in your spirit. You do not have the engraving very easy. First, you have to be hog tied, just like the calf and the cow. You have to be tripped up, you have to fall down on your side, and then the cowboy comes along and brands you.

 

Romans 10:13. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Is that the same? I guess that is just the same. One verse in Acts, one verse in Romans. Matthew 10:22. "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. he that endureth till the end, shall be saved." What end? The end of the prayer line? What end? He that endureth to the end shall be saved. The end of what? The end of what?

PASTOR VITALE: The end of the testing. The end of the testing. Amen. "And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake." I encourage you to be careful. I know a man who was persecuted severely because he was a very obnoxious man. Every time he was persecuted, he said it was for righteousness sake. Jesus said, "You shall be persecuted for my name sake." That means when His name, or His spirit, or His nature is engraved in your spirit you are going to be persecuted. Do not be hated because you are obnoxious and think It is because you wear a dove pin. It is not true.

 

What lie ever got you anything? If you are forcing your doctrine on people and you are hated, it is not for His name's sake. If you are witnessing on your lunch hour, and you are rebuked by your boss, you are not hated for His name sake. You have to be hated because His nature is in you. You have to be hated because you are doing good. You have to be hated because you are telling the truth. You have to be hated because you are willing to die for the Lord.

 

Now if that is happening to you, that is a sign Christ is in you. Survive all this persecution, which is a fiery trial, which we are supposed to overcome, and we will be saved. See, you can be reconciled to God and not be saved. Just about everybody in the church today, just about everybody who thinks they are saved is most likely reconciled unto God. They are not saved, because when your soul is saved you do not die anymore. You do not get sick. You do not sin.

 

The Hebrew word translated "endureth" is Strong's #5278. It means to cleave faithfully to one's faith in Christ, to cleave faithfully to one's faith in Christ. You know, brethren, we have to be very careful. Do you realize that the doctrine that is coming forth here now is the doctrine that is going to give the people hope? People look at the doctrine that is out there now, and it puts the burden on the believer. It puts the burden on the believer. Now look, we have to fight this war. We have to overcome.

 

The promise of God is that you fight as hard as you can fight, and He is going to meet you right where you are and take you the rest of the way. When I was in Nigeria, a woman rose up, who obviously was very frightened over the teaching of this warfare. I had been preaching on this warfare. She was manifesting a strong spirit of fear and I comforted her. I told her the Lord was going to help her and as soon as she sat down, it was a very anointed meeting, there is not a doubt in my mind that it was God.

 

As soon as she sat down, another woman rose up very angry at me and said to me. "Well I believe there is something we have to do." They are just preaching out there that there is nothing for your to do. I praise God that the wisdom of Christ was upon me because the answer to that question, brethren, if you are so scared that you really cannot fight, now I do not make that judgment, you do not evaluate yourself, Jesus evaluates you, if you are really that scared that you cannot make it, He is coming to get you, if you have turned towards Him as your Savior. Those of you who are strong, if you do not fight, He is going to leave you for the carrion on the banks of the Jordan. That is what He said to me. "If you do not fight, I am going to leave you for carrion on the banks of the Jordan." I could not believe my ears, but I heard Him. He said it to me.

 

Every Scripture is not for everybody. Every Scripture is not for everybody at every time of there life. You have to hear from the Lord to which Scriptures are for you at this stage of your life.

 

If you have an ability within you to fight and you are not fighting, God knows and He will deal with you, and if you are a son, He will whip you. Do not look at your brother, do not look at your brother. Do not say that your walk is harder than your brother's. You are not doing yourself any good. You are only hurting yourself. It is an individual walk that God has tailor made to you. You will not be treated as others are treated. If you expect to be, you are to be disappointed. No two people are treated the same. Christ knows the hearts of men. He knows what you need. He knows how much you can bear. He is raising up a company of sons.

 

He is perfecting us, He is going to be glorified through us. He loves us, but He is going to make us perfect. We will not be reprobate silver. We will not be flawed. None of us are the same. None of us are exactly the same and, therefore, ministry to two or more individuals cannot be exactly the same. We are not the same. The world knows, scientists know that if you take four different samples of something, apply the same test to all the samples, you will get four different reactions or different variations of the reaction.

 

The power of God is ministering to two or four different people, it cannot be exactly the same. It cannot be, it is impossible. You four are not the same, you are not the same. This definition that is in the church, it places the burden for salvation upon the people. What definition? This definition of "endureth" that says, "Cleave faithfully to one's faith in Christ." One's faith, what this says to me is, I understand this interpretation of the Scripture is that those people who are strong enough to cleave to their faith in Christ shall be saved. I want to tell you, that is not what the Bible is saying, because I lost all my faith when I went into the hospital for three months. I did not understand what was happening to me. I lost every ounce of faith that I had. I am telling you the truth.

 

No man in his human power is going to be saved. You cannot hold onto this salvation, you cannot do it. You cannot do it. You cannot do it. God requires you to do everything that you can do.

 

Some people say, "Pastor Vitale, you are preaching that people are just going to go walking off leaving the whole burden to the Lord, well then you are going to be lost." I am telling you both sides of this, brethren. You are required to do everything you are capable of doing. God knows what you are capable of doing. The burden for your salvation is His.

 

My Bible says, "Even the ones walking orderly in the law can scarcely be saved." It is a miracle that someone should be saved and you fallen, proud humans think that you have the strength to save yourself through your faith in Christ. You have pride, because you cannot do it. Neither can I. Thayer's says as an alternate translation to this Greek word translated "endureth," well, let me put it to you this way. I go through whole...sometimes two pages of translation, and this just really blessed me. Because there was, well let me tell you what he said. At the very bottom of the list was this translation, and it meant, "to be successfully overthrowing, to be successfully over thrown." Brethren, the man whose carnal mind is successfully overthrown by the Christ in them, shall be saved.

 

Thayer's was so confused by this translation, he just put a big question mark. What could this word possibly mean, that big question mark? Apparently, he put it in because a reliable Greek source said that this word could be translated that way. He was being a responsible researcher. He put it in the book, but for the life of him, he could not understand it. Brethren, when your soul is successfully overthrown by the Christ in you, you shall be saved.

 

If your carnal mind is racing you around and manifesting through you, having you do all kinds of wickedness and ungodliness, or even not wickedness, just carnality, that means that the Christ in you has not yet overthrown your soul, or not overthrown the mind, and that is all. I really like that, "to be successfully overthrown." You cannot do it, brethren. The church is going to have to give up this pride, or they are all going to be wiped out just like the Hebrews in the wilderness. If they do not give up this pride, they are going to be all wiped out.

 

The second generation is going to enter in. What are the second generation? Who are the second generation? People like us. The church has been in existence for two thousand years. The established church is going to have to give up this pride, or they are going to be wiped out. They are going to be left behind, and only little splinter groups that nobody even knows we are here, like us, are the ones who are going to be entering in. Little people from little corners of the world that nobody even sees. Poor people, sick people, disturbed people, spiritual lepers, we are going to be standing up in full stature.

 

Can you picture this. Those who are crying out to God, "I am overcome, help me," and His response is to enter into their heart and overthrow the carnal mind. They are going to be saved and everyone that thinks they are standing because they enter into all kinds of rituals and they have been to Bible college, God has given them a good job, and a good marriage and a good house and car. All this stuff and they think they are really making it, they may not be overthrown because they are making it so much in their own strength that Christ is dying under the clod of earth.

 

Oh, I hear them scream, "How could Christ die!" Brethren, Christ enters into your heart as a seed. Every seed that is sown does not sprout. Seeds that are sown in soil that has not been over turned and plowed, well what happens to them, farmer? It dies. I tell you the truth. it is very hard for Christ to grow in some of these intellectuals that think they have all the answers. He is suffocating in you. If you think you have all the answers in your own strength, He is suffocating in you.

 

Matthew 24:13. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." The same Scripture in another book.

 

Mark 13:13. Oh that is the same thing. "Ye shall be hated of all men for His name's sake. but he that endures unto the end, the same shall be saved." The one who is overthrown, He is the one that is going to be saved. Not the one that has the PhD, not the one that is the Christian Sociologist, not the one that has the million dollar building in California, not the one that has the international ministry, not the one who cast out demons, not the one who tithes regularly, but the one who has overthrown shall be saved.

 

Why? Because salvation is an experience by which Christ is completely and fully living His life through you. For Him to be completely and fully living His life through you, your present fallen life must what? It must die. There is no other way. Oh, this is a good message tonight. Very heavy anointing here. Hallelujah.

 

Romans 9:27. "Esaias also crieth concerning Israel though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved." That, I believe, is a quote from Isaiah. A remnant shall be saved. Well, we can take that on two levels, brethren. We can say that only a small group of human beings out of all of humanity will be saved. I do not really see it like that. Some people can say that because those of you here know that I do not believe that everybody that ever lived is going to be saved. Every human spirit, every drop of Christ, where ever He is buried, and He is buried in the souls and bodies of fallen men.

 

Every drop of Christ, every bone of Christ will be raised from the dead. I believe that, but I also know here that many individuals will not be saved. It may look realistic to some people that only a small group of human beings will be saved. I do not like that because the carnal minds get ready to lay hold of that and say, "Well, I am saved and you are not. That I am better than you and all of that junk, and I am a wheat and you are a tare." All that junk that goes on. I could not believe the first time I heard that. I am a wheat and you are a tare, how terrible, how terrible.

 

All of that junk goes on when you take this type of interpretation of that Scripture. Although we do know here that only a small handful of human bodies, compared to the trillions of bodies that have appeared on the face of the earth since the fall, only a small handful of human bodies will be saved. It will be those bodies in whom Christ is appearing at the time when He stands up in full stature.

 

Those bodies are the ones that will be preserved. I would much rather say that the remnant will be saved. A small remnant, that a small part of the individual will be saved, that the human body is not being saved, that the soul that sins is not being saved and if your body comes to the end of itself without Christ appearing in you, a small remnant of you will be saved and that remnant is the what? Your human spirit will be saved.

 

A remnant of you will be saved. A small piece. I heard a preacher preach once that a remnant means a piece of the original, a remnant, a piece of the original that which is left of you. If you are into sewing, and they have a big bolt of cloth, when there is just a small piece of cloth, and they put it on sale, they call it a remnant sale. That which is left, which that was a whole large bolt of material. A remnant, a piece of the original.

 

I did look this word up today, it is Strong's #2460, and it means, "that which remains." I suggest to you that it means, "which remains after the Lord chastens us." How does He chasten us? The soul that sins dies, and the body that the soul lives in dies, and then after that the remnant remains and goes back to the Lord. I prefer to do it that way.

 

The remnant of Israel shall be saved, the spirit of Israel will be saved. Hallelujah. Unless you are living in that last day when Christ stands up in full stature, then your soul shall be saved and your body shall be saved along with the remnant.

 

Proverbs 28:18. "Who so walketh uprightly shall be saved, but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once." "Uprightly" is translated, "blameless." In the interlinear, it is Strong's #8459, and it means perfect or whole. I suggest to you that it is speaking about the kind of perfection that Job accomplished under the Old Covenant. He was perfect in his keeping of the law. I apply that today to people who are truly, truly doing the best they can to serve Christ in whatever way He has taught them.

 

They are not sinning in their behavior, and if they do sin in their mind, they are confessing it as sin and repenting of it, and asking Him to help them change. To me, that is a perfect man. We are not speaking about the same kind of perfection that Jesus Christ of Nazareth attained to.

 

We are speaking about perfection with regard to a challenge that the Lord is giving us. We are perfect in our effort, to be perfect in one's effort. "Who so walketh uprightly, who is perfect in their effort towards God, shall be saved. He that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once." Perverse means "crooked or perverted."

 

Joshua 6:25. "Joshua saved Rahab, the harlot, alive and her fathers household and all that she had, and she dwelleth in Israel even to this day." Brethren, this is a controversial Scripture that I would like to address. I know many people that laid hold of this Scripture and many Scriptures, "You shall be saved and your entire household."

 

Your husband, and your children, and your mother, and your father, Aunt Tessie, and your grandmother, and everybody. There are a lot of disappointed people in the church today. They see their beloved relatives die having nothing to do with the Lord and people doubt this Scripture.

 

They say, "What does this mean? Why did God not do it for me? This must be a phony book." Brethren, I would like to give you a new thought tonight, I would like to suggest to you the reason your beloved relatives have passed on without salvation is because you are not saved. Let me read it to you again. "Joshua saved Rahab, the harlot, alive and her father's household." This is not the best Scripture. I do have it in another Scripture in another category. Let me get it for you. Well, I cannot find it right now. I am addressing the Scripture that says "if you believe you shall be saved and your entire house."

 

Rahab, the harlot, was saved because Joshua, who was a type of Christ, saved her alive. Joshua saved the harlot alive. When the harlot was saved, her father's household was saved and all that she had. if your relatives have not been saved, it is because you are not saved. You are reconciled unto God. If you were saved, you would not be dying, brethren. When Joshua saves you alive, when Christ arises in you, and when you stand up in full stature, your household will be saved. Until Christ stands up in you, it is the blind leading the blind into a ditch. Now as Christ arises in you, because this standing up in full stature is a process, if Christ truly is engrafted in you.

 

If He is truly being formed in you, as you overcome, you will see blessings falling upon your household. You will see changes, but as for salvation, I remind you that the Scripture says "You shall be saved, then your household." If they are not saved, neither are you. None of us are saved; you are reconciled unto God. My Bible does not say "If you are reconciled unto God, your household shall be saved." I never read it. Have you read anything like that in the Bible?

 

Look all you people, all you ladies that are praying for your husbands for 20 years. Do not be discouraged. It is the word, it is true, you just did not understand what it says. Do not be bitter towards God. He is not a liar; He is not a liar. What is being done, the category that we are under now is "Who is being saved?" Joshua saved Rahab, the harlot, alive.

 

Brethren every one of us is a harlot. We all have a harlot within, our heart is the harlot. She is fornicating, or she is committing adultery with Satan. She is committing adultery with the carnal mind. She is fooling around with all the demons. She is utterly corrupted and perverted. She is with out self-control. If our mind does not reign her in, she would have our body committing every form of wicked sin known to man. She is lost in her own lust, and she is the white slave of Satan.

 

Joshua saved her alive. The entire living soul is being saved. We found out in a recent Scripture that a remnant shall be saved, that is our spirit. We found out that the harlot is being saved. but that does not deny the fact that...let me remind you, yes the harlot is being saved, yes our soul is being saved, but not necessarily the personality that we are.

 

If this salvation has not been accomplished by the time our body dies, our soul, the spiritual clay that it is made out of, goes back into the lump, and it will be reformed. Continuously marred and reformed until the day that Christ overcomes moral impurity in that soul, stands up in full stature and gives life to the soul, but the soul shall be saved. Hallelujah.

 

I do not read anything about these bodies coming back . Made out of natural dust, I cannot find that anywhere. I only found two Scriptures referring to the body. The Lord says, "Leave it alone, I am not the least bit interested in it. It is in Satan's image. It is the outer core. I have nothing to do with it, it is just a necessity while my children are in this fallen condition." Now, while you are down here in Hell God has given you a body, you can enjoy it and you can use it. You have to know that it is not God's, but Satan's image. That is what it is.

 

It is fun while we are down here, you should know that it is not going into heaven with you. You have to know that. Your spirit is going in, your soul is going in, and eventually this body will be lost. You need to know that because we are going to be glorified. We are going to be made pure spirit. We are not going to have a body like this anymore.

 

Going on to category two. Saved from what? Numbers 10:9. "If you go to war in your land against your enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets and you shall be remembered by the Lord your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies." 2 Samuel 2:24. "I will call on the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from mine enemies. I will be called upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised." Psalm 18:3. "Shall I be saved from my enemies." Luke 1:71. "That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all that hate us."

 

Now the question is, who is our enemy? Is our enemy our husband? is our enemy our wife? Is our enemy the guy who owes us $100 dollars and will not pay us? It is very important that we define enemy, and I did not look up the Hebrew words. I do not know why I did not do it here. I must have done it in another section. I did it in another section. Some how I got past this.

 

I found out that there were basically three Hebrew words that are translated "enemies." One referred to as just "enemies in general." It did not say if there were male enemies or female enemies. I found that Hebrew word used when God is referring to physical enemies in the instances where God ordained war between Israel and another nation. God gave them victory over their enemies. This Hebrew word does not indicate any particular sex is used. Just speaking about natural enemy.

 

Then there are two other Hebrew words translated "enemy" and the both mean "female adversary." Specifically female adversaries. Now some are looking this up thinking of Israel having a female enemy. It would make no sense at all. Israel fierce and strong, the armies of all the surrounding nations were terrified of her. Why would God even mention a female enemy? We know who the female enemy is. Amen. She is? The carnal mind is Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. Actually, well they are both. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is the female enemy. 

 

Manifesting through her carnal mind, she is our strong enemy. Some of us have more control over her than others. She is killing some of us more than she is killing others. She is ruining some lives more than she is ruining other lives. She is our strong enemy. We must watch vigilantly over her. The fact that we have urges that would be ungodly is nothing to be condemned over. We must resist condemnation, and we must understand that every urge we have, we do not have to do it.

 

You rebuke it in your mind and you walk away from it. We do not have to do it. You do not have to do it. Do not condemn yourself because the thought is in your mind. We are fallen, we have a strong enemy. She speaks to us. She puts thoughts in to our minds. Tell her to go away. Do not condemn yourself. This is your condition, you are fallen. Ungodly thoughts are in your mind, probably every day.

 

Category three, Who are we being saved by? Who is saving us? Isaiah 45:22. "Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth for I am God and there is none else. For I am God and there is none else. Look unto me and be ye saved. There is salvation in none other." Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me O Lord..." This word "Lord" is Jehovah. I must have not looked up the word in Isaiah 45. I do not know if it is Elohim or Jehovah. In Jeremiah 17:14 the Hebrew word "Lord" is Jehovah. "Heal me oh Jehovah, and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved for thou art my praise." He is the healer and He is the Savior. I hear somebody saying that the Lord Jesus Christ was the Savior. Are you a Jehovah's witness?

 

Brethren, the spirit of Jehovah that is in the earth today is one with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ was glorified, He returned unto the Father, and it is like two rivers flowing into one ocean. They became one. The spirit of God that is ministering to this creation and that which is present in this creation are one.

 

Look, brethren, all of the Jehovah's witnesses out there, all of you, all of the natural Jews out there, you can call Him anything you want. You can call Him Jehovah if you want to. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. You know, when I had a secular job many years ago, there was someone who kept calling me Irene. She kept thinking my name was Irene. Every time she passed me in the hall, she said "Hello Irene." It got to the point that I said "Hi." I am telling you the truth. This woman would come to me at least once a month and say, "I am so embarrassed, I do not know why I keep calling you Irene." I said, "That is okay, I answered to Irene."

 

Look, brethren, man cannot modify the creator of this universe with his puny brain calling Him the wrong name. Now look, either you have had an experience with the creator or you have not. If you have had an experience with the creator, He answers to lots of names. Why? Because He loves you, He knows you are fallen, He knows that you need Him, and He really cannot get all messed up if you call Him by the wrong name.

 

I want to tell all you Pharisees out there, there are Jehovah's witnesses that have touched Him. There are natural Jews who have and are touching Him, and there are probably Mormons who are touching Him. They got His name all mixed up, but He does not care. You care, but He does not care.

 

There is going to be gnashing of teeth and great wailing at the hour of His appearing. He is a spirit, brethren. He is a spirit. When the Bible talks about His name, it does not mean that you have to verbally in English say "Jesus." It is talking about His spirit. His spirit, His spirit, His spirit.

 

I want to tell you, our God is so great that if He is going out looking for somebody, and He has got it in His mind to draw them in, He does not care if you call Him "okikanokee." I am telling you the truth, He is God. You are an Indian on a reservation somewhere, and you want to call Him "okikanokee," He is probably saying, "Here I am." Now that does not mean that as He draws you, and you mature in Him, it does not mean that you are going to enter in full stature calling Him "okikanokee." You have to grow up. As He draws you, He will teach you. Has He not taught us about our mistakes?

 

Are we believing the same that we believed ten years ago? Those of us that have been here, does He throw you out because of your mistakes? God help us. "Okikanokee," and He says, "Here I am." Jesus. Oh, they did not like that one. I hear it, they did not like that one. All the Pharisees are mad at me for that one, they really did not like that one. It is still the truth. It is still the truth.

 

Psalms 80:3, I think we had this in another place or something similar. "Turn us again oh God or oh Elohim. And cause thy face to shine and we shall be saved." Christ becomes our mind. Let Christ be the mind that influences our personality. Let Christ be that which is being reflected in us, and we shall be saved. That is what salvation is, our soul is being saved through the impartation of a righteous mind.

 

If you are wondering how come I could say the carnal mind hates us, I can say it because we die when she is our mind. Now if she loved us, brethren, she would give us up to the Lord Jesus Christ so that we could live. She would just turn us over and say, "Come on in Christ, I want this creation to live." She will not turn us over. Christ is having to come in and destroy her. That is how I can say she hates us.

 

If you have had a wonderful life on a human level, your carnal mind still hates you because she has it within her power to give you eternal life if she would just bow down and let Christ come in save you. She will not do it and that is hatred. 1 Samuel 10:19, "Ye have this day rejected your God who Himself has saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations." Your God has saved you out of all of your adversities and tribulation. The Hebrew word translated "adversities" is Strong's #7451 and can be translated "calamities, evil or a wicked heart." You have rejected your God, that whom Himself has saved you from your own wicked heart.

 

How did He save you? He gave you a new heart. He Himself saved you. For some reason I did not look this word up. It must be Elohim. Elohim saved you by giving you Himself, letting Himself be your new heart. Your tribulations, Strong's #6869, meaning "distresses and female adversary." I suggest to you that this Scripture, 1 Samuel 10:19, is saying that your God delivered you, He saved you from your wicked heart, the carnal mind, and from the female adversary, Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, herself.

 

You know, brethren, there will be people who will be rejected by the Lord. I want to make this very clear because people become afraid when they hear this. Now listen to me, there will be people who are rejected by the Lord. People whose lives have been saved by God, people who are being destroyed, people who are given a new lease on life by God, who were raised up by the Lord to a place of dominion in this soul realm, where all their needs were met, and where they were prevailing over their life. They were on top of things. They were no longer the tails, but they have become the head, and in full strength of knowledge turn their back on God.

 

This is the closest thing to what Adam did. To be set up in a high place in this world, you have your life together, you are healthy, you are earning a good living, you have your education, God sent you to school, you have a good job, you have a beautiful wife or husband, lovely children, everybody is healthy, good friends, happiness, good things in your life, and you decide that you do not need Him anymore. From a position of knowledge, you decided that you do not need Him anymore.

 

Someone like that, God may make a judgment to just let them go. That is wickedness, brethren, to see the power of God, to taste of the good word of God, to experience the miracles of the age to come. willfully knowing what you are doing, not being overcome, not being overcome, knowing what you are doing, having the strength to say "No," and choosing evil over good. The Lord may decide to let you go. He may chasten you. I have told you this before, I have given up trying, I do not know how He makes up His mind. It could go either way. You could lose your salvation.

 

People that are struggling, people that are being overcome, people that are trying and that have a bad time, a bad day, a bad week and fall down, brethren, He is not cutting you loose. He is your Savior. He loves you, and the one thing that would turn Him to do this is pride. Pride of the successful man who receives all of the benefits of the power of God. thinks he did it Himself. gives God no credit and hates his fellow man.

 

Even then, the Lord might just chasten you. Apparently, there are some people that He turns away from. If I did not tell you that I would be lying to you.

 

1 Chronicles 11:14. "And they set themselves in the midst of that parcel and delivered it. And slew the philistines, and the Lord, Jehovah, saved them by a great deliverance." Saved by Jehovah. This is speaking about a physical battle. Let me emphasize to you clearly that the Lord God gives victory in a physical, natural battle when it was the Lord who said, "Go on up and fight the war." A lot of people where very excited about Desert Storm, and I understand there were a lot of miracles done on our behalf. I have to tell you that I do not believe that it was 100% God's will that we go on up. Why? Because we are now seeing thousands of our soldiers sick.

 

In this hour, nothing is perfect. Everything is half in and half out. Even if it is 85-95%, we do not see an army going in without casualties today. The closest thing to it was the Israeli six-day war. We have to know that although God blessed us and helped us in Desert Storm, that something must have been wrong somewhere for all of these soldiers to be getting sick. What a tragedy to have such a victory in battle. then find your soldiers getting sick from hidden diseases. I do not want anyone misunderstanding me. I am not saying we should not have fought the war. I am saying that our motive for fighting it could not have been 100% righteous. There had to be some contamination in there. Does anyone not know what I am talking about?

 

I believe that the war was righteous, and that we should have been in there. I believe God blessed it, but it was not in the same category as the Israelis going into Canaan land and fighting the philistines. It was not the same category. We have to know that it is just the truth. Anybody having a problem with what I just said? It is just the truth.

 

Isaiah 63:9. "In all their affliction, He was afflicted." Who? The Lord was afflicted. "And the angel of His presence saved them, in His love and in His pity, His redeemed them and He bear them. And carried them all the ways of old." In all their affliction, He was afflicted. The Interlinear says, "In all their affliction, He was not an enemy." That is a big difference. In all of their affliction, He was not an enemy, sounds like judgment to me, brethren. The judgments of God are merciful.

 

This is Isaiah 63:9 so it is a prophetic Scripture. It is not talking about natural Israel here. In all of our affliction, He was not an enemy but a loving Father correcting our evil heart, our evil thinking, and our evil ways, because we are evil.

 

The Scripture calls us evil. It does not matter that someone is a little more evil than you are. We are all evil. We are alienated from God in our minds, at least in some areas. Even those of us that are serving Him. Look, brethren, I am telling you the truth. We are still alienated from Him in certain areas of our mind. In every area of our mind that is dark, we are alienated from Him.

 

I just recently had an encounter with the Lord myself. I went before Him, and I said, "Father, I know that in this area I have a weakness. I know that in this area I frequently do not know what is right. Left to my own devices, probably five out of five times I would make a wrong choice." Brethren, this is how I pray. You need to hear this. It is called, "confessing your sins." I say, "Dear God, there is nothing in this world that I want more than to be righteous and to do your will. Put your thoughts in my mind because I know that if you do not do it, I will make a mistake."

 

He is a faithful God. We must know in what areas our automatic reaction are likely to be Christ, and we must know in what areas our automatic reactions are not likely to be Christ, because if you can see yourself accurately, then you can cry out, and He will answer you.

 

There are just some areas in which His mind is not yet automatic in me, but every time I ask, He gives it to me. It is not part of my nature yet. When I ask for it, I get it. All you Pharisees out there that are walking around saying that you are the mind of Christ, you do not have the mind of Christ. You have access to the mind of Christ. If you ask for righteousness, He will give it to you. If you say "Father I do not know what is right." If you say, "Father, give me your thoughts in this matter," if you say, "Father give me your responses in this matter," if you say, "Father let me think as you would think, let me see as you would see." He is going to do it.

 

That is called "access to the mind of Christ." You have the mind of Christ when your automatic reaction is Christ. This is a great mystery. We do not have Christ in the same measure of every area of our thinking and our emotional responses. We are being converted a piece at a time. You have to know yourself, brethren, and if you do not know yourself ask the Lord. Ask for wisdom literally, but you have to ask. He wants you to ask.

 

In all their affliction, He was not an enemy to them. A loving Father, and the angel of His presence saved them. I suggest to you that the angel of His presence is Christ. They were saved by Christ, and in His love and in His pity He redeemed them. That word "love" is referring to His love for Israel as a wife. The word "pity" means "mercy and gentleness." He redeemed them. He purchased them back from whom? Anybody? Who was Israel sold to? Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. Amen.

 

That is the Lord Jesus Christ in the book of Revelation opening the seals which are the seals of Satan's ownership. He is breaking the seals of Satan's ownership. He is buying us back, and He is buying us back with judgment, brethren." And He bear them and He carried them all the days of old." "To bear" means, "to carry their burdens and to carry them." He carried them as an infant in His arms.

 

Nehemiah 9:27. "Therefore thou, Jehovah, delivered them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them. And in the time of their troubles when they cried unto Him, thou heardest them from Heaven and according to thou manifold mercies on them gave them Saviors who saved them out of the hand of their enemies." What are we seeing as we go along there? We see that Jehovah is the Savior. You see, Elohim and Christ is a Savior, and now we see that Jehovah gave the human race the Saviors.

 

We see in different stages of God's plan of salvation different manifestations of His life coming forth to save us. The term "Saviors" is referring to what is about to come upon the earth right now. It is the second generation of Christ. Elohim is the first generation of Christ or perhaps in the Old Testament where it says "Elohim," it is the spirit of Christ that was upon Israel. It is not the Christ that is here in the church today.

 

We know that the Christ that was in Israel was imputed. How do I know that? The bones of Christ were appearing in Israel, where? Anybody know what happened to them? They were broken, they were broken. The Christ that is appearing in the church today shall not be broken because Christ, having been raised from the death, He? Anybody know the Scripture? He dies no more. These bones shall not be broken.

 

Now this is a great mystery. We see the bones of Christ being broken from time to time in the imperfect individual. That is the second generation of Christ who is standing up toddling and falling down, the bones of Christ in the form of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is there picking us up. These bones shall not be broken and in due season, Christ shall appear in us in the same form as our Father. We shall be fully grown, mature men.

 

Jehovah, the one who handed them to their enemies in the first place, who vexed them, when they cried out in the time of their trouble, God heard them from Heaven and because He is merciful. He gave them Saviors who saved them out of the hand of their enemies. This Hebrew word translated "enemies" means, "natural enemies." There is no sex involved. I suggest to you that this Scripture coming from the book of Nehemiah is referring back to the days of the Judges when the enemies where natural men.

 

Psalms 34:6. "This poor man cried and the Lord, Jehovah, heard him and saved him out of all his troubles." Jehovah heard the cries of the poor man. That word "poor" means. "humble." I do not see it saying, "Jewish man." I do not see it saying, "Christian man." I do not see it saying, "Buddhist man." I see it saying, "This humble man cried, and Jehovah heard him." He hears the cries of the poor, and He saved him out of all his trouble.

 

The Hebrew word translated "troubles" is Strong's #6869. It means "female adversaries." Brethren, it is talking about the demons, if not the carnal minds herself. It seams to be plural here. Female adversaries.

 

Psalms 44:7. "Thou, Elohim, has saved us from our enemies." No sex indicated, natural enemies. "And has put them to shame that hated us." You see, Jehovah saves us from Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. Elohim or Christ saves us from the carnal mind and our natural enemies out there. Brethren, we have a natural enemy in this world, in this life, in this existence. It is Christ in us that answers our prayer. It is Christ in us that rises up and defends us, even against natural enemies.

 

Now we know that the Holy Spirit is not defensive. He is curative, He heals, He casts out the demons, He gets you a job, He blesses you. If you are having a natural enemy out there attacking you, you get down, and you are calling out to God with all the faith you have, I want to suggest to you that even though that seed of God might not be engrafted, that a temporary manifestation of Christ appears in your mind. it is Christ that fights your enemy.

 

I want to suggest to you strongly, Christ is the warrior. The Holy Spirit is not the warrior. He is the word of God. He is the seed, He is the sperm of God which is sent unto you to bring forth the warrior in your own mind.

 

Psalms 44:7. "Thou, Elohim, has saved us from our enemies." No sex indicated, indicating natural enemies. "Has put them to shame that hated us." Oh, I guess I has this thought as I was writing up these notes because I remembered it. This is interesting. Satan is the female adversary which is addressed by Jehovah. I just told you that Elohim or Christ deals with the carnal mind. We know that the carnal mind is female also.

 

Why when we are dealing with natural enemies, which would be moving in that carnal mind, why does God not indicate their sex? The thought that came to me as I was doing this research was that the carnal mind shall be dissolved. Satan is female, she shall be brought into submission, and she shall be a part of a glorified creation in her proper order.

 

The carnal mind is something that should have never, ever existed. She is an illegitimate offspring of Eve's adultery with Satan. She shall be dissolved. It occurred to me that the Lord does not even assign a sex to her because as far as He is concerned, she is just going. She is burning up and melting.

 

Psalms 106:10. "And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy." We are talking about who is doing the saving here. That is what we are up to. Who is doing the saving? I did not look up who that was, sorry. This enemy is the female enemy. He saved them from the hand of their female enemy.

 

Psalms 107:13. "Then they cried unto the Lord Jehovah in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses." No sex indicated, natural enemies. John 3:17. For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

 

We shall be saved through the Son, Christ. I should have asked you that. Who is the Son? Christ is the Son. Not the man Jesus, not the man Jesus. The man Jesus of Nazareth was the Christ, and because His mind was Christ He was the Son. The Son is Christ. That is how we can say, "When Christ is formed in you, you to shall be a Son." Jesus of Nazareth is not being formed in you. It would be a perversion. The man Jesus of Nazareth, being grown up in your body would be a perversion. No, the mind that was in the man Jesus of Nazareth which mind made Him the Son of God, that same mind is in you. "Let that mind which is in Jesus, let that same mind be in," and then you too shall be the Son.

 

Christ, the Son of God, is a mind, Jesus of Nazareth was the first member of the human race in whom He appeared and put down the military rebellion of the carnal mind. Christ is the Son of God. John 10:9. "I am the door, by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and fine pasture." We are being saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12. "Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other, none under Heaven given among men, where by we must be saved." Let me spend another minute on this brethren.

 

There are Christians that go around trying to force the English word, Jesus, down people's throats. Brethren, we are not saved by the English word, Jesus. We are saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, who is a living, glorified spirit. His name is His spirit, and we are saved when that spirit which is also a nature, when that nature, that perfect nature is engraved in our spirit, that is how we are saved.

 

You are not saved by saying "Jesus." As I have told you many times, those of you can be sitting here saying "Jesus," and the demons are still coming for you. You can be sitting here, and the aliens are still abducting you. I do not mean to be obnoxious, I am telling you the truth. You can sit here and say "Jesus" all you want. You can sit here and confess that you are all healed all you want. Satan is laughing at you, the carnal mind is laughing at you, the whole world is laughing at you, because you look like a fool. We are supposed to be the Church of the Living God. Let us grow up.

 

Acts 4:12. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Romans 5:9. "Much more than being now justified by His..." By Christ's blood. His spiritual blood, brethren, not the red blood that fell on the dirt 2000 years ago. The life of the flesh is in the blood in the fallen man. Blood is blue in your veins and red when it hits the air. it is corruptible.

 

In the resurrected life of the Lord Jesus Christ, blood is spiritual. It does not change color when it is in your veins or when it comes out. It is not corruptible. We are saved by His spiritual life. The life of the flesh is in the blood. You are not saved by His red blood that poured out on Calvary, 2000 years ago. That is long gone, it was a natural substance, and it is long gone.

 

It was a substance that kept Him alive, at least when He was born. Let me rephrase that. It was the natural substance that sustained the infant and the young man Jesus of Nazareth until such time as Christ became the source of His life.

 

It was a body that was destroyed. It was swallowed up. It was dismantled. It was dismembered. It was broken down into its original atoms, reformed and become a part of His glorified body. He did not corrupt...oh, I hear them screaming. He did not corrupt. He did not go back into the dust. The Lord, God by His mighty power, dismantled the form that the atoms were in that made Him look like the man Jesus of Nazareth and reformed them into something else, something science knows that it is possible to do. I have been told that science also knows that the power that would be necessary to do it is so far beyond the reach of man today that it is not even considered. It is called transmutation.

 

Pastor Vitale said, "Jesus corrupted." No, I did not say He corrupted. Is everybody here OK? He did not corrupt, He was changed. It was as a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, God changed Him. We are on Romans 5:9. "Much more then being now justified by Christ's blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." Let me remind you that wrath is the judgment which rests upon this world, and the name of this world is hell. The wrath of God is present here. There is a judgment of God that is present here.

 

By His blood we are saved from it. How are we saved from it? Are we being raptured? His blood, brethren, is life, His life is in His mind. When His mind gets inside of us and kills our carnal mind, we start living out of the mind of Christ.

 

Brethren, there is no law against a righteous man. When our mind is righteous we shall be righteous. We shall do righteousness, and the wrath of God does not bother righteous man. The law is for an unrighteous man. Judgment is for an unrighteous man. When you become righteous in the midst of hell, the wrath of God will have no power over you.

 

Who is the executor or the administrator of the wrath of God down here in hell? Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. Jesus said, "The prince of this world cometh, but he has nothing in me. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind has no power over a righteous man. Now do not let anyone lay hold of my words and condemn anybody with this. We are all unrighteous, we are all fallen, and we are all under the wrath of God.

 

We are in one of two categories. Either Satan has a free hand to destroy us, or Christ is moving in our life and using the destruction that Satan is pouring out on us because he has legal ground. God is laying hold of it and turning it for our good. We are either in one of two categories down here in hell. We are all under the wrath of God. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, has legal grounds on all of us.

 

I am going to say it again. If you are not in a genuine relationship with Christ and, only the Lord knows. I do not know, do not ask me. God knows if you are really bearing His name. Everything that Satan throws at you, the Lord will let it happen to you and give you the power to overcome. give you the victory in and through it and out of it.

 

You will be a more mature person, that much closer to Sonship. That is one category. If you do not have a genuine relationship with Christ, if His spirit is not appearing in you, if you are a phony and God knows, I do not know. Do not get mad at me. I know there are people out there like that. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is having his way with you.

 

Romans 5:10. "For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by Christ's life." Now, brethren, this is what I have been preaching here for a year now. If and when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God, you do not go from being God's enemy to being saved.

 

If you had an experience with God, the name of that experience is reconciliation. If you have had an experience with God, the name of that experience is reconciliation. If you have received the Holy Ghost, it is a part of reconciliation. We are saved by His life. His life has a name, and that name is Christ.

 

When Christ is formed in you and becomes your mind, you are saved. Up until that point you are in transition from reconciliation to salvation. You are only reconciled till you are saved. When you are in transition, you are only reconciled until that transition becomes salvation. Nobody down here in hell is saved.

 

The whole world knows it. That is why they hate us. When one of our minister fall, they hate us. Why do they hate us? Because when a Christian stands up and says "I am saved and you are not," we have condemned the person who is not doing what we are doing.

 

Pride produces condemnation to the other person. I am going to say it again. When a Christian stands up and says, "I am saved and you are not because you are not doing what I am doing," in a world of so many sects and so many manifestations of Christianity, when a Christian stands up and says that, you condemn the other person, and they hate us for it, and they have very little respect for us, if any at all because they know we are just like them.

 

Fourth category, saved by what? Saved by what? Jesus said unto him, "Receive thy sight, thy faith hath made thee whole." Now here we go again. We mentioned this tonight. "Well, I have faith and you do not have faith, that is why I was healed and you were not healed, that is why I am off drugs, and you are not off drugs, I have good faith, and you have bad faith, God likes me better than He likes you, I am a wheat, and you are a tare.

 

Brethren, God hates it. He hates it, He hates it, He hates it. Not one of us can save our own soul. The Scripture clearly says...I think there is a Scripture that even says that you cannot even save your own soul. Is there not a Scripture that says that? Something like that.

 

COMMENT: Inaudible.

 

PASTOR VITALE: No, there is another one that is something like that. Cannot even save your own soul, Although, that one is a good one also. You cannot save your own soul.

 

None of you have enough faith to save your own soul. All of your faith which is coming forth from a fallen tree, it is without power. We are without power down here in hell. There is not anything of yourself that can save you.

 

Let us look into this a little. Well, the Interlinear says, "Thy faith has saved the whole, the faith of you has healed you." The Interlinear says that the faith of you has healed you. I was running short of time tonight so I did not write out any of these Scriptures. I have a list for you, if you would like to make a note.

 

Scriptures that indicate that the only valid faith is the faith of Jesus Christ. It is His faith in you. It is the faith of Christ in you that is saving you. Christ must be formed in you. You must be having faith through Christ. You must be thinking with His mind. It is a faith that comes when Christ is formed, Christ the Hope of glory. It is His faith that is saving you. Everybody that has Christ being formed has the faith of Christ in them, and if you have the faith of Christ, you are not condemning the guy that does not have it because Christ does not do that.

 

These are the Scriptures that would indicate that. 2 Corinthians 4:13, Galatians 2:16, Galatians 6:20, Galatians 3:22. Maybe we should read them. Would everybody take one of those Scriptures. Let us just put it on the tape.

 

XXXX, you take the first one 2 Corinthians 4:13. XXXX, Galatians 2:16. Are you up to this XXXX? Do you want to take one? Galatians 6:20. XXXXX will you take a Scripture? Galatians 3:22. Do you have the microphone? 2 Corinthians 4:13.

 

COMMENT: "We having the same spirit of faith according as it is written. I believed and, therefore, have I spoken, we also believe, therefore, we speak.

 

PASTOR VITALE: That does not sound like the right Scripture.

 

COMMENT: That is 4:13.

 

PASTOR VITALE: You know I took these Scriptures out of out of that computer program and sometimes the verses are a little off. Let me just take a look at 2 Corinthians 4:13. I found out that some of the Scriptures are off. Well, let us go on to the next one. Let us try the next one, Galatians 2:16

 

COMMENT: "Knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ."

 

PASTOR VITALE: Okay.

 

COMMENT: "Even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Jesus Christ and not by the works of the law. For by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

 

PASTOR VITALE: Amen. What that is saying, brethren, is that the faith of the fallen man is a work of the law. It must be the faith that comes from the engrafted Christ within us. It is a faith that no man can have until the gift of God is imparted to us. . XXXX what do we have? Galatians 2:20

 

COMMENT: "I am crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and delivered Himself up for me."

 

PASTOR VITALE: . Paul says his carnal mind was crucified, and the faith that he lives by is the faith that is in Christ, his only remaining and living mind. Galatians 3:22, are you ready?

 

COMMENT: "The Scripture has concluded all under sin that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe."

 

PASTOR VITALE: I did not hear you, could you talk a little louder?

 

COMMENT: . Alright. "The Scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise of faith by Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe."

 

PASTOR VITALE: We have to be careful to read these Scriptures "as the faith of Jesus Christ," not "faith in Jesus Christ." We all have faith in Jesus Christ that He did the work. Through Him, we are going to be saved. That faith must get inside of us, that faith that He had must get inside of us through the engrafted Word of God.

 

Everybody with that? That is an important point. Thank you ladies.

 

Romans 8:24. "For we are saved by hope. Hope that is seen is not Hope for when a man seeth, why does he yet Hope for? The Scripture clearly states, "Christ in you is the hope of Glory," and Glory is the spirit of God as it appears in the soul realm.

 

Christ is our Hope. You have to have Christ. Our salvation is Christ. It is not in the Holy Spirit, and it is not any work that you can do.

 

Jeremiah 4:14. "Oh Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?" We are being saved by having our heart washed from wickedness. How is our heart washed from wickedness? Washing means....the Hebrew word translated "washing" is a word that would be translated "baptism."

 

Our heart is being baptized into Christ. That means completely immersed. Completely covered over by Christ, and the result of that will be that the carnal mind is dissolving. That is what Peter speaks about when he says that the elements shall melt, whatever is left which is Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, because the demons and the carnal mind are being disbursed and being killed. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, shall be under the control of Christ. We are saved through complete spiritual baptism.

 

Romans 10:9. "That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved. Everybody walks around and says to the poor guy on the street, "Well, just repeat after me, the Lord Jesus Christ I believe in Him. I believe that He was raised from the dead and now I am saved." The pastor says, "Now repeat after me, I believe that the Lord Jesus was raised form the dead. I believe that the Lord Jesus was raised from the dead. I now pronounce you saved. Go home and begin your new life."

 

Brethren it is a lie. It is a lie. Let us look up some of these words and find out what this means. Confess, #3670, means "to declare openly." Well, that is an easy one. The Greek word translated "mouth," Strong's #4750 and you are free to look up in your own in Thayer's Lexicon. This word can be translated "the edge of the sword." The edge of the sword, if you shall confess with the edge of your sword. Who is your sword? The Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus.

 

"If thou shall confess with the edge of your sword, the Lord Jesus," do you hear this? Just a poor translation. There is a word left out here in this King James Translation. "If you will confess with thy or with your mouth." In the Greek it says, "the word." Of is added. The word "of" is added. "If you will confess with your mouth of the Lord Jesus, if you will confess with the edge of your sword, the Lord Jesus Christ."

 

What does that mean? If Christ in you is confessing it. If the Lord Jesus in you is declaring it. If the Lord Jesus in you is declaring it, the Lord Jesus in you. It is the Holy Ghost. It is not...the Lord Jesus is a glorified spirit. The first thing that has to happen to you for you to be saved is that you have to get the Holy Ghost speaking through you.

 

"Saying that God has raised Him from the dead." Now, brethren, this is not English words, this is not English words. Saying I believe the Lord.... I just want to get the right exact words for you. I believe that the Lord raised Jesus from the dead. You do not get saved because you can repeat after me. A parrot can repeat after me.

 

The Lord raised Jesus from the dead, a parrot can say that. I could probably teach a dog to say arf arf arf. That is not what does it. Let me give it to you. There is a very strong anointing on me tonight. I am sorry if anyone thinks that I am irreverent, I am not irreverent. God is mad. The hour of salvation is at hand. This doctrine is killing people.

 

This doctrine is killing God's people. Let me give it to you again. "If you confess with your mouth that God has raised the Lord Jesus from the dead." How are you going to confess with your mouth that the Lord has raised the Lord Jesus from the dead? He has to speak through your mouth. The Holy Ghost has to speak through your mouth.

 

One witness is prophesy. Another witness is tongues. Any anointing that comes through the imputed anointing is a witness, is a confession that the Father raised the Lord Jesus from the dead. How do I know? He is speaking through you.

 

There are Scriptures in the Book of Acts that says, "They went out witnessing to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ." They were not speaking English words, brethren. The witness that the Lord Jesus is raised from the dead is that He is manifesting supernaturally through you.

 

"If you confess it with your mouth, if you have the imputed anointing, if you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Let us see what the heart means. "If you believe in thine heart." The Greek word translated "in," believe in thine heart, could also be translated "into." I want to suggest to you that if you start out with the imputed anointing, and the Lord Jesus Christ is witnessing to His resurrection by supernatural expression coming out of your mouth. That imputed anointing, Jesus said in a parable, if you take that talent, and you use it, and you increase it, and it grows into the imparted anointing, you shall be saved.

 

The Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, the seed which will fertilize your human spirit and raise Christ from the dead in you. If you have a witness of the presence of the Holy Ghost coming out of your mouth, and you do not, just be satisfied with just prophesying and you press in. If you come to meetings, if you submit yourself to ministry, if you read the Bible, if you listen to tapes, whatever God has called you to do.

 

Is a variety of ways, God will bring you to where He wants you to be. If you press into the point that you believe, into the point where Christ begins to be formed in you, you shall be saved. You do not believe it with your fallen mind. I believe the Father raised Christ from the dead. Brethren, that is not it. You have to believe it with such an intensity that you pierce Him.

 

Those who pierce Him are going to see Him. When you see Him, you are going to be like Him. It must happen to you. This is not an intellectual pursuit that can be expressed in human language. We are talking about a spiritual conversation that will change us and everyone whose life that we touch.

 

It is a spiritual experience. It is not an intellectual exercise. I am going to put it on this tape. There is a man that I have the highest esteem for, the highest regard for. I am very distressed that he is going around the country and around the world having an alter call for Tabernacles, having people repeat after him and pronouncing upon them that they have entered into Tabernacles. He is a fine man. I appreciate him, I do not know if he will ever hear this tape or not. I am greatly distressed at what he is doing.

 

Ephesians 2:5. "Even when we were dead in sins, have quickened us together with Christ, by grace you are saved." Ephesians 2:8. "For by grace you are saved through faith. And that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God." The issue of grace, brethren, I misunderstood that for years. I was taught grace was unmerited favor. Just like when I was taught the rapture, my reaction was, "Well what does that mean?" I said, "Well what do I know." I just went passed it. I did not question the man who was teaching me. I thought that I just did not understand it.

 

Brethren, the grace of God is Christ. We are sinners, our nature is sin. We can do nothing but sin. The grace and the mercy of God is to give us Christ in whom is the ability to stop sinning. God will never stop raining judgment upon sin. If you have been taught that, you have received a lie. God will judge sin down to the last iota. He will judge it till it is wiped out of His creation.

 

The only thing that is going to save you from being wiped out with the sin is the fact that His mind has been imparted to you. That is the grace of God. His mind being in you, the blood on the door posts of your life being upon you so that when the angel of death comes to wipe out the sin, you shall survive.

 

It is true, it is unmerited favor. Well, what does that mean? This is basically the difference between Old Order and New order teaching. We were just talking about that last Monday when you were here. Old order teaching sounds beautiful. Quotes all these Scriptures, sounds wonderful, and it is exciting. It has no reality for the man in the street.

 

What does it mean? It is a poem. It is beautiful poetry of promises that are to come forth in the future. How does it relate to a human being? How does it relate to a person who is having a problem in their life, or a problem in their mind? What do you do with this poetry?

 

Brethren, New Order teaching is the unlocking of the Scriptures. It is the understanding of it in a measure that is going to put Life in your life. It is going to put power in your life to overcome destruction.

 

1 Timothy 2:15. "Not withstanding, she should be saved in child bearing. If they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety." Not withstanding, she, the living soul. That is all of us. Brethren, we shall be saved when we bear the Christ child. Salvation is in Christ and in none other. There is no other name, there is no other spirit other than that of Christ which can save you.

 

"If they continue in faith and charity and in holiness with sobriety." Faith is Christ, we talked about that earlier. Charity is the agape love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Holiness is the condition we enter into when we separate from lust which is resident in the carnal mind. With sobriety, the Greek word translated "with" means "to wage war as an ally." Brethren, we must fight this war along with Christ.

 

Large segments of the church are preaching there is no warfare. There is a warfare. Christ is not waging it for us. He is waging it with us. I want to tell you that if you will not fight, He will not fight for you unless He has made a judgment that you are so crippled, unable to fight, then He will fight for you. If you have any warfare skills at all, and you will not use them because you are afraid or because you love your sin, or for whatever other reason, He will not fight for you.

 

You have to fight, even to the measure of saying, "Jesus help me." Surely you could do that. You have to do something, brethren. You are not infants. You are not passive little babies. You have to do all you can. Then He picks it up. He is overdrive. You do all you could do and then He kicks in. In my computer is extended memory. You use all you have got, and then you kick into something else. He is not doing this without you.

 

We shall be saved by bearing the Christ child, if we wage war against our carnal mind as Christ's ally, by exercising all the self-control. Sobriety means self-control. If we exercise all the self-control we can to abide in the mind of Christ. If we exercise self control, if we try to contain our carnal mind so that Christ can arise in us.

 

When Christ arises in us, He will build us up in His agape love and in the holiness which we experience when we separate from our carnal minds which is lust. What this is saying is that you are going to be saved by Christ when you use that Christ to wage war against your carnal mind. When you use Christ to empower you, you have self- control to wage war against your carnal mind which will separate you from lust.

 

Titus 3:5. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost." Mercy is good will towards the miserable and the afflicted. a desire to relieve them. Washing is baptism. Regeneration means the restoration of a thing to the condition it was in, in its earliest state.

 

We are being regenerated through baptism. I mentioned this earlier, the baptism is into Christ. We are being regenerated when the Christ mind completely swallows up the carnal mind, completely immersing our carnal mind in it. The type of this is water baptism. The Lord has made a covenant with us.

 

"Here are all you puny humans with no spiritual power, you have nothing to offer me, the God of the universe. If you go down under the water, if you take that step of faith and put your body under the water, I will put your carnal mind under the water of Christ. You do it and I will do it. You do it and I will do it. I will do it."

 

If you think you are going to sit there and He will do everything, you are going to go down the draft. We shall be saved by the baptism that causes regeneration. That is not water baptism. It means baptism into Christ and by the renewing of the Holy Ghost.

 

The Greek word translated "renewing" means, "A complete change for the better." The Holy Ghost brings a complete change for the better. He is to bring you into the baptism in Christ. You see, it is not enough to get the Holy Ghost. You cannot stop there. There is another step.

 

When I started preaching this message a few years ago, a woman got so upset, she called up another preacher in Pennsylvania, and said, "Is there another step after you get the Holy Ghost?" The preacher in Pennsylvania says "Oh no." She called me up and said, "Sister so and so said there is no other step." I said to her, "Noah preached for 120 years, and no one believed him either."

 

She got so upset, she was moving to Florida. I said to her, "Well, give me your phone number, I will call you." She said, "Oh no, I am not giving you my phone number. Do not write to me and do not call me." You see, there is still another step. She still does not have it. She can stick her head in the sand all she wants, but God is still a spirit and answers to many names in this hour.

 

Why? Because He has mercy on ignorant human beings. Christ still has to be formed in you whether you believe it or not. He is not going to be formed in you without your soul being judged. Whether you like it or not, your sins shall be exposed, and they shall be burned in the fire. You shall be raised from the dead and live in His sight. Hallelujah.

 

Isaiah 30:15. "For thus saith the Lord God, Jehovah, the Holy one of Israel in returning and rest shall you be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be your strength." Returning, Strong's #7729 means conversion and rest. In returning and rest, you shall be saved. Rest, #5183, Gesenius says this word can be translated "punishment."

 

Punishment through judgment. "My people shall learn righteousness." You shall be converted through the punishment of your carnal mind. I wish it were not true, but it is true. Your carnal mind is wicked. She is a harlot, she is an adulteress, she lies to you, she is out of control, she it totally unfaithful, and she hates you. She must be punished.

 

What does that mean? She will be beaten, spiritually beaten, until she comes down unto the authority of Christ. She is not going to be beaten by some man. No one should hear this tape and go out beating people up. Christ is the judge, He will bring judgement. If you bring it, you are in trouble. Watch out, you will surely reap what you have sown.

 

Christ will bring judgment upon your carnal mind, she will learn righteousness, you shall be converted, and your strength shall be in confidence and quietness. Well, that just means.... strength means the spirit of might, and after your carnal mind is punished, Christ shall give you confidence, and you shall lie down. You shall receive rest.

 

Well, we should not be much longer here. I would like to finish it up, if you are all okay. I do not think it will be more than ten minutes.

 

The fifth category, I call it "wisdom." I just put down a few Scriptures that did not fit in the other categories that I felt should be a part of this study.

 

Psalms 33:16. "There is no king saved by the multitude of hosts. A mighty man is not delivered by much strength." Brethren, there is no king that is saved by a natural army. There is no mighty man that is delivered by his strength. Victory is in Christ.

 

If you are a Christian, if you are a heathen, God is in control of this entire world, and all victory is in Christ. No king sits on a throne unless God put him there. God have mercy on this nation. We have a pretty bad king up there right now. We are stuck with him for another three and a half years. I will take five minutes to say this, that I see something really good coming out of this because the forces that have been destroying religion and the spirit of God in this nation are finally being fully exposed for what they are.

 

There are fascist forces that want to bring censorship into this nation and crush all free expression of religion. I heard on TV today that XXX XXXXX's brother was saying that an out spoken critic of XXX XXXXX, should be taken off the air. He should not be allowed to have a TV program. He should not be allowed to criticize the president. It is not American. He should lose his American citizenship for criticizing the president. He should not be allowed on TV.

 

Brethren, this is censorship. They are fascists, they have been moving to take over our government for years, and they are now finally being exposed. We will see what God is going to do for us. The man who was criticizing XXX XXXXX, who was being criticized by XXXX XXXXX's brother gave a good answer.

 

He said, "Sir, you are saying that I should not criticize the president. It causes the nation to lose confidence." He says, "Your brother not only was a draft dodger, he was protesting this government on foreign soil." What are you talking about? What are you talking about?

 

There are fascists moving to take over this nation. They are in positions of high power, and they have done a lot of damage. God is never late. I finally see something good coming out of this administration, God is using it to show the truth.

 

We will just hope for the best. I believe in my heart that this nation is God's offspring. He has promised me that when you raise a child up in the ways of God when they are young, when they are old they will come back to Him.

 

A lot of people are saying that Rome went into homosexuality, and they went down. Greece went into homosexuality, and they went down. Those nations were not dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ. I am hoping for the best. It is going to be terrible, but I believe the out come will glorify God. I believe that with all my heart.

 

Batten down the hatches because when God chastens you, it is not going to be without a battle. It is not going to be without a battle. Get ready, but He is going to save this country, I believe it.

 

Did you ever hear of a baby that was dedicated to the Lord that He did not fight for? No, we are not going down like Greece and Rome went down. This is going to be quite a battle. It will be something to see. When we come up, and the dust settles we are going to be a Theocracy. The sons of God will have manifested, and we will be a nation under God, being ruled by the Son's of God. I believe that with all my heart. I am not prophesying to you. I believe it.

 

Acts 11:14. "Who shall tell thee words whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved." Brethren when you are saved, then your house gets saved. God has an order, you have to get saved before your house gets saved. Your problem is you think you are saved, but you are not saved. That is why you have been disappointed and wondered why God has let you down.

 

The answer to your problem is that you are not saved, you are not saved. You are reconciled unto God. You are not saved. God is true, let every man be a liar. When you get saved, your house will be saved. When you stand up in full stature, your house will be saved.

 

1 Corinthians 5:5. "To deliver such a one unto Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, for the destruction of the flesh, that is the soul, that the spirit, although it could affect the body with infirmity. For the destruction of the flesh that the spirit might be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus, brethren, in the hour that the Lord Jesus Christ is bringing forth the second generation of Christ and appearing in the earth."

 

Again, if necessary, your body and soul will experience destruction if that is what it is going to take for Christ to come forth in you. God is going to let all kinds of infirmity come upon you. Please wake her up, she needs to hear this. XXXX wake up. Let me read this Scripture for you again.

 

"To deliver such a one unto Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, in the flesh that the spirit might be saved, in the day of the Lord Jesus." In this last day that Christ is coming forth, the Lord well let infirmity come upon you. He will let emotional problems come upon you. He will let your flesh and soul be destroyed to the fullest extent that He determines necessary that Christ can appear.

 

We see many people in this hour not experiencing, you too, not experiencing immediate healing. Some people are heart broken, because they think that the Lord has let them down. The Lord has not let you down. He is weakening your flesh because Christ wants to appear in you.

 

Ask God to help you to not be bitter and to not be rebellious, to find that fine line whereas if He wants to heal you, you do not want to be a barter either. if you have done everything you know how to do, and He has not healed you, just pray that God helps all of you to endure hardship like good soldiers. Just hang on until His salvation appears in you. Do not let any man condemn you.

 

1 Peter 4:18. "And if the righteous scarcely be saved where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear." We pretty much went over this before. Ungodly means those people who have no fear of God. A sinner is one who fails to do righteousness. The word "appear" means to be brought forth to the light, to be brought forth into the light.

 

He is saying of the one who is really doing the best he can to live Christ like, if he is barely saved. The word "scarcely" is the word Strong's #3433, and it can be translated, "very rarely." Brethren, there is going to be very few, very few. I am convinced at this point that after the Sons of God appear, a total... I do not want to say totally, a different technique than God is using to raise up the Sons is going to be applied to the rest of the world.

 

The average person cannot bear this, the average person out there could not bear the trials and the tribulation that the up-coming Sons are going to go through. God is taking a group of people that He made a judgment are strong enough to bear it. I know lots of us think that we are not strong enough to bear it. if God says it, I will believe Him before I believe you.

 

You may not think that you are strong enough to bear it. He knows better, and He is raising us up. When we go out, I really believe that there is going to be a different technique. The average person just would not make it with what I have been through.

 

Very rarely is a righteous man saved. What about the one who does not fear God? Or who sins willingly? It is going to take a real miracle.

 

Matthew 24:22. "And except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh saved, but for the elect sake, these days shall be shortened. The days of tribulation, brethren, that is how severe the tribulation is going to be, and you do not have to be in a war torn city. I think that if God did not shorten my days, I would not be here. I was finished. I came so close to being dead that it would have just been another step for me to have died for Him to have raised me up.

 

My heart was broken. My mind was broken. My spirit was broken. My body was broken and because I did not understand, I thought that the Lord...I had displeased Him, and He had turned me over. He shortened my tribulation, because I surely would have died. He shortened it for me. It does not have to be a tribulation affecting the whole nation. It could be your own personal experience. That is a tribulation.

 

Mark 13:20. The same thing. "Except the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved, but for the elect sake." For Christ that is growing in you, He will shorten your days of tribulation. If you die before Christ is fully born in you, Christ dies.

 

If you are a pregnant woman and you die, well at least up to the sixth month, maybe the seventh month, the baby...I have never heard of the sixth-month preemie surviving. Maybe a seventh month preemie. The principal is, if the mother dies, the baby dies. The Lord is shortening your tribulation, because if you die before Christ can live without you, Christ dies.

 

"For the elect sake." Now, not that you are special, and your brother down the street is no good. Not because you are the wheat, and he is the tare. Because Christ, the elect of God, Christ is in you is going to save your life. There is not a doubt in my mind that, that is what happened to me. I told you this before, there is nothing special about me. God has given me a few gifts, but I am sure He could have done it in a lot of other people. The only reason He saved my life is because Christ is in me, and He is manifesting through me.

 

We heard this preached at the convention in Connecticut. It is a hard word for people out of the category of people who are dying. The only ones that are getting life saving miracles in this hour seem to be the people through whom Christ is manifested. I do not mean prophesying and dancing in the spirit. The people whom Christ is saving lives, the people through whom Christ is teaching. The people through whom Christ is ministering to other up and coming Sons, they are the people whose lives are being saved.

 

Why? Because they are useful to the master. I am telling you the truth, that is a hard word. Of course, if you believe the teaching here, there is no burning in hell forever. That, that which Christ has experienced in them is the only thing that continues on. It is really not such a terrible thing. That is a hard word. If you want to live, if you want to live for your family or for whatever reason you want to live, you better start praying for some measure of ministry, because that is the ones that God is keeping alive.

 

The human beings through whom His work is being done, not your work, not what you think He wants to have done, the vessels that are yielding to His spirit and through whom He is manifesting, those are the bodies that He is keeping alive. His own flesh, He is keeping alive. Brethren, if you are not doing anything for Christ, you are not His flesh. You are the other guy's flesh. I am telling you the truth. You are not Christ's flesh. If He has no authority over you, if you are out there doing whatever you want to do, whether you call yourself a Christian, or whether you do not call yourself a Christian.

 

If you are obeying your carnal mind, you are not Christ's flesh. He is keeping His own flesh alive. He is saving His own skin. If you are not His skin, He is not saving you.

 

1 Corinthians 3:15. "If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire." Now this world...I really should have looked it up in the Greek. I did not. When we read that, we automatically assume that the Scriptures is speaking about an individual, you or me.

 

I want to suggest to you it is speaking about a spiritual man, and His name is Christ. If any man's work shall be burnt. If the Christ that is coming forth in the earth today, if He shall bring judgment, and the soul and the body that He is living in is burnt, we were just talking about that, Christ shall suffer the loss of that vessel. He will suffer the loss of that soul and that body. That is why in many instances He is keeping him alive. He Himself, Christ, is going to appear in humanity. There will be human bodies and souls which will not appear with Him. Christ is appearing

 

Anyone that gets upset when I talk about Christ aborting, or the seed not sprouting, or Christ being buried under clods of earth, do not get upset. Christ is appearing in a many-membered living soul. He is going to lose a few dead leaves along the way. That only sounds inhumane if you do not understand the basic nature of this creation.

 

This body and soul is just dirt. A true reality is saved. Time to grow up. The world knows about all this. I saw a Star Trek movie once about that. Some low spiritual people come to the planet and were acting live fascists, lining people up and executing them, and at the end of the program, they found out one of the superior spiritual men says to him, "Oh, nobody has died here in 1000 years." The man says, "Well, we have been shooting them down every day." The spiritual man says. "Well, we just wanted to accommodate you, no one has died here in 1000 years." That is just an illusion.

 

All these bodies are just illusions, these bodies are just an illusion. These personalities are just illusions, and as much as you love your family and children and your friends, it is only for here, and when you die it is all over. Only Christ goes on. That is the truth.

 

Whether you believe it or not, it is the truth. I have a whole list of things, whether you believe it or not, it is still the truth.

 

Judges 7:2. "And the Lord said into Gideon, the people that are with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their own hands, lest Israel become boastful, saying my own hand has saved me." I put this in just to let you see that it is very dangerous to say it is my own hand that saved me.

 

Now, not many people would say, "It is my own hand has that saved me." A lot of people would say, "It is my own hand that got me that job. It was my own hand that got me where I needed to be on time."

 

I just encourage you to be very careful. God does not like it. When you are ignorant, He winks at it. For people that have been in the Lord for a while, He really does not like it.

 

Deuteronomy 33:29. "Happy art thou O Israel, who is like into thee. O people saved by the Lord, Jehovah, the shield of thy help and who is the sword of thy Excellency and thine enemies shall be found lairs unto thee." That means they will have no power and "thou shall thread upon their high places."
