-- has happened here is much greater than appears on the surface. It is something deeply spiritual that has happened here, and it is an earthquake that has risen up from the realm of the spirit to try to interfere with the doctrine that the Lord is bringing forth.

 

Now, a couple of months ago, before you came to the ministry, I was teaching in the 78 series on hell and death, and we had all kinds of trouble here, just at the time that I started to teach. It was on hell. It was on -- when I was teaching on hell, all kinds of disruptions and problems, and it was the sa- -- and the disruption was coming through the same person. And as soon as I stopped teaching on hell, everything subsided, and everything was fine. And now, the week before Daniel, before the Lord put me in the Daniel series, it rose up again, this time much worse.

 

OK, so we are not carnal. We are spiritual, and we’re dealing with spiritual things here, and we’re involved in a very serious warfare, and that warfare is Christ against the carnal mind. Now this is no joke, because Christ is about to pierce through, and He is about to put down the carnal mind in a small group of people, and part of this event is the doctrine. It’s -- the doctrine isn’t the whole thing, but it is integrally -- the doctrine that’s coming forth here is integrally associated with the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ in his firstfruits company.

 

OK, now, the problem that a lot of us have is that we can’t really see the spiritual roots of what’s happening, and because we’re basically decent people -- in all of our life, we’ve tried to live decently -- our tendency is to just look at it carnally and say, “Well, you know, this is a simple little thing.” But it’s not a simple little thing. It’s an all-out attack to bring down -- you don’t have to agree with me, but this is what it is. It’s an all-out attack to bring down the authority that God has raised up in this ministry. Why? Because, if I could be brought down, then I won’t be able -- God won’t give me the doctrine. I want to tell you, right now, that if I abdicate the authority that He’s given me, if I don’t stand in righteousness against every attack, He’s not going to give me this doctrine. I know it because He’s told me so, and there’s not a doubt in my mind.

 

There is much more at stake here than what you see as a little thing between two women. This is an all-out push to bring down this doctrine -- and then, if I fall, however long it’ll take the Lord to raise up someone else. He’ll raise up someone else to bring it forth. I’m not indispensable to God. But it could be a delay of a few years, and everyone in this ministry will suffer the loss of what God has had for you now, and I want to suggest to you that everybody here, including me, needs the doctrine that God is bringing forth now. We all need it now in our lives, and it’s a real problem, because we’re in a very serious war, and most of us can’t see it.

 

The Scripture says they were marrying and giving in marriage and that they were proving their oxen and that they were going out and letting the dead bury their dead, and they were following all the things of this natural life, and Christ was in the midst of them. Well, in this hour, I declare to you, the sons of God are about to stand up, and the Scripture says that heresies must be -- now I haven’t looked up that word in the Greek. I don’t know exactly what it means, but I extend it to these noisy upheavals. These outbursts and false doctrines must be -- does anyone know why? Do you know the Scripture? Do you know why? Why?

 

            So that proof of you --

 

So that those who are approved of God will be revealed. Now, what does that mean? That God hates one and doesn’t hate the other? No. What it means is that we’re in -- we’re running a race, and those of us in whom Christ is being formed have two souls or two minds. Everybody here has two minds, and the Lord wants to know, when He puts the pressure on us, which mind we’re going to respond out of. And when He find -- or should He find out that we respond out of our carnal mind, He does not condemn us. And if I have to point out to you that you’re responding out of your carnal mind, I do not condemn you. When I respond out of my carnal mind, I do not condemn myself, but we must know it, so that we can resist it and overcome it.

 

We must know every time that we submit to our carnal mind, so that we don’t do it the next time. Why? Because when we’re submitting to our carnal mind, we’re not standing in full stature. The way you stand in full stature is to resist your carnal mind, resist your carnal mind, resist your carnal mind. Knock him down every time he opens up his mouth or dares to project a thought into you, until one day you have knocked him so hard that he never rises up again.

 

This is what we are involved in, and we’ll never take the victory without recognizing him every time he manifests, and we’ll never recognize him by the words. And you cannot look at an action and discern a spirit on the action. It’s got to be the spirit behind the action, and you weren’t here, but the example that I gave was the prophet that went to a man in the word of the Lord, and he said, “Smite me.” And the man wouldn’t smite him. He wouldn’t hit a prophet. It was God saying, hit the prophet, and he wouldn’t do it, because he said, “God could never tell me to hit a prophet.” And the man went away, and he died. And the prophet went to s- -- another man, and he said to him, “In the word of the Lord, smite me.” And the man smote him, and it was God, and he went to the king, bleeding. God told him to smite the prophet.

 

God sent a lying spirit to King Ahab. God does a lot of things that look like they’re sin, but when God does it, it’s not sin. So you can’t try the word. Neither can you try the behavior. You’ve got to try the spirit, and if you don’t know how to do it, especially in a difficult situation, stand still until you’re sure you heard from God, because any decision that we make, no matter how righteous it may appear to be to us at the time -- because, you know, the carnal mind can make a righteous decision. You know, a carnal mind can look at a thief steal something and say, “I saw you steal it.” The carnal mind could do that.

 

So, we have to ask the Lord to help us, especially in difficult situations, for example, one in which a spiritual authority is involved. We have to really be careful that we’re not judging before the time, and let me remind you about judging before the time and righteous judgment. And judging before the time is judging out of your carnal mind, and judging righteous judgment is judging the same situation with the mind of Christ.

 

So it’s not enough that a deed looks unrighteous, OK? Jesus wants us to stand up in full stature. He loves us, and I love you. I love everybody here. I’ve got a tough job. I’ve got a tough job, and it’s going to benefit all of us to cleave unto the authority that God has given us, if we’re not -- if we don’t have the spi- -- if you have a word from the Lord, well, then, you have a word from the Lord, but to jump to conclusions and condemn the authority that God’s raised up is very dangerous for your own wellbeing, very dangerous. It’s not to be done. OK.

 

So, let me go on with what God gave me, and I ju- -- what I’m -- I said all that to say this. When I sought the Lord, you know, about what was happening, He gave me -- and let me tell you what chapter it is in the Book of Revelation. I don’t remember offhand. It’s chapter 13 -- chapter 13.

 

So when I asked -- you know, when I sought Him, He gave me chapter 13, and I have taught, word for word, on chapter 13, and those or that messages are on the series No. 66 and the series No. 70. But He gave it to me with an insight that I didn’t even have then, and I’m going to go through the chapter as quickly as He lets me. I may skip over some verses, and what I’m trying to establish to you -- and I pray, that if this be the word of the Lord, that it pierces anybody’s carnal mind that’s here, that the spiritual reality of what has happened here is that the carnal mind of man, whose God is Satan, and the people involved doesn’t know what’s going on.

 

She doesn’t know what’s going on. She thinks she’s right, but it -- but the reality of what has happened is that Satan, through his carnal mind, has caused a noisy disruption, and that’s on the message I just gave you on Daniel 12. He’s caused a noisy disruption to confuse the saints of God that are moving into the kingdom, and in that confusion, hoping that they will not be able to distinguish between the carnal mind and Christ. He does it on purpose, and he -- he’ll move around until he’ll find a vessel that has a weakness that will yield to him.

 

That’s how he does it. He finds a vessel that has a weakness, and I’m not condemning her. She has a weakness in this area, and he wanted to stir up trouble because he knew that God was going to give me the Dan- -- He’s opening the sealed Book of Daniel. Do you hear what -- this is incredible. Wait until you hear this message, if I get to it tonight. It’s incredible -- I’m so excited, I can’t even talk straight -- and what He’s doing.

 

And Satan has made a noisy upheaval to try and put such distress on me and such confusion on me that I won’t bring it forth, at the very least, and at the very most, to bring me down from my position of thor- -- authority, as typified by Elijah up on the hill, when the king sent the soldiers for him, so that if I come down from my position of authority, God will take the revelation away from me.

 

And I remind you that the reason that Elijah said, that the king sent soldiers to Elijah to say, come down -- the reason for it was that Elijah had rebuked the king. The king had gone to a pagan god. He had gone to an occult worker to find out whether or not he was going to be healed, and the Lord sent Elijah to say to him, “Is there not a God in Israel, that you should go -- who is it -- to the god of [UNINTELLIGIBLE]?” I may have the wrong god. I’m not a weatherman, I keep telling you. If you hear a mistake on this message, I’m not a weatherman. OK.

 

And the king was so mad, he sent the soldiers to Elijah, who sat on the top of the hill, and they said, “Come down.” And Elijah called on the name of his God, and fire from heaven came down.

 

And that is what has happened here, and this is what will continue to happen to all of us until either we go down, or we stand up in full stature, and how can you win this war, if you don’t really understand what’s happening? And it’s an invisible war. It’s an invisible war, and with all of the cares of this world, especially if you have a family and a husband, and you just got back from Florida, and you got six kids and 15 gra- -- how many grandchildren do you have? Fourteen grandchildren, and you have a job, and all these things are going on. And the tendency, the human tendency, is not to see the spiritual, but God wants us to see the spiritual.

 

“And I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea.”

 

Now, before I get -- to start, I want to tell you this, that I had hoped to review my notes where I looked up every word before I expounded on this, but I did not have the time. So, if you listen to this message, and there’s a contradiction between this message and one of the messages where I looked up every word, please forgive me, because it’s been almost two years since I did the other messages, and I’m doing it off the top of my head. OK? Glory to God.

 

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and 10 horns, and upon his horns, the crowns, and upon the heads -- 10 crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”

 

Now, my recollection of this is that this is the living soul, the fallen living soul. God calls him -- calls her the beast. She’s female, and she was rising up out of the sea, which typifies the soul realm. The sea typifies the unconscious mind of the soul realm, and the beast had seven heads, typ- -- well, the head is the part that appears. The head is the part that’s seen, and it’s typifying the human bodies, which are standing up on the earth of the whole creation. Anybody have a problem with that?

 

Creation is spiritual. It’s wrapped in flesh and appearing on the earth, or sometimes the Bible calls them trees or mountains, and it’s men. It’s men. That’s what we are. And the number seven typifies the fullness of the number of men of the creation.

 

And there were 10 horns on the heads, 10 symbolizing the number of the law, saying that this creation is under the law, and the law is not for a righteous man. So, for the creation to be under the law, it is a fallen creation. Glory to God.

 

And upon his heads, the name of blasphemy -- upon his heads, the name of blasphemy. Now name is a spirit, name as it typifies a spirit, and blasphemy means that it is the spirit of blasphemy, and we have this a lot -- we find this a lot in the Old Testament, and in the Old Testament, it’s expressed as a spirit of shame. The word shame is used. Hallelujah.

 

Now I’m having trouble seeing over here. I think I’m going to move this table. God help me. [UNINTELLIGIBLE] I know you put it over here so I could write on the blackboard, but right now I can’t see.

No, I want to sit up front. I want to just sit down. Anyway, [?do you want this up?]? Yeah, that’s much better.

Glory to God.

 

Verse 2, “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard.” And we found out in this study and in the study No. 71, Daniel’s Beast, that a leopard is called so because of his spots and that it’s referring to being stained with sin. So the beast was stained with sin, “and the feet were as the feet of a bear,” and a bear is an unclean animal. The beast or the fallen creation was unclean and stained with sin, and the feet were the feet of a bear. So the way it walks is unclean. The way it lives its life or its existence is unclean.

 

“And her mouth -- and his mouth as the mouth of a lion,” and the lion in Scripture typifies spiritual strength, and it can typify godly spiritual strength or ungodly spiritual strength, but inasmuch as the creation is a sin-stained leopard and an unclean bear, we’re going to draw the conclusion that this spiritual power is ungodly.

 

So we have an ungodly beast here, “and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and his great authority.” Satan is the ruling force of the natural man. “And I saw one of the heads as it were wounded to death.” It was wounded, brethren, when the creation was separated from the Lord. “And his deadly wound was healed.” How was his deadly wound healed? He still has an existence. He still has an existence, and I’m ju- -- I’m not going to go into this in detail, but I’m going to give you a hint that this existence was granted to him when Cain was cast out of the garden, and he said, “Lord, everyone that sees me will slay me.” And the Father put a mark on his head, saying that no one could destroy this creation until such time as God was ready to deal with it. Hallelujah.

 

“And his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” And I’ve been talking about that Scripture lately. I never really quite understood what it means, but I understand it now as my mind gets renewed, and as I start thinking more and more with the mind of Christ, I look at this beast with spiritual eyes, and I look at what he does, and I wonder at this beast. I wonder at the way he thinks, and I wonder at his devices, and I am amazed and flabbergasted and speechless at the evil and the wickedness that he thinks and that he does. I wonder at the beast.

 

It’s like the word infamous. Are you familiar with the word infamous? Famous means to be well-known in a good way, but to be well-known because of your evil, you are infamous. Well, this is an infamous beast. He is an incredible dragon. He blows my mind. I’m ne- -- I never cease to be amazed at what he can conjure up, the extent of the wickedness and the trouble that he can do, and it’s a she -- she can do. Lord help me with these pronouns, please. Glory to God.

 

Verse 4, “And they worshipped the dragon.” Who worshipped the dragon? All the people in whom he was being revealed, without resistance. Brethren, he must be resisted. He is in your mind. He is in my mind. This is the true Armageddon. I don’t doubt that there’s going to be some kind of a battle in the Middle East, but this world is an image of the mind of the people. He’s in our mind. We were born with him. He was there since birth. Christ is the newcomer. We have to unlearn everything that we’ve learned and start doing it the Lord’s way. Hallelujah.

 

“And they worshipped the dragon.” The many members of the living soul worshipped Satan. Brethren, I’m not pulling any punches. The one that you submit to, that’s the one that you serve. The one who you obey, he is your god, and if you’re obeying your carnal mind, you’re obeying and worshipping Satan. Now stand up and face it, so that you could stop doing it. The whole world’s doing it. The whole church world is doing it.

 

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast.” What kind of power? To exist in this world system. Brethren, wake up. If Jesus Christ was generating your existence, you could not die. Your existence is being generated by Satan. Christ is the newcomer. He’s coming in, and He is taking away that which Satan has labored to make. And there are Scriptures on it. I don’t have time now. It’s in Job. He’s taking over the clay houses that Satan has generated, and He has not yet taken us over totally. Why? How do I know that? Because I was in the hospital. I almost died a couple years ago, and if Christ was the one that was generating me, if I was taken over completely, I would never be sick, I would never think out of my carnal mind, and I would never have the problems that I have.

 

Satan is everybody’s god. We are in the process of literally being stolen from him by Christ. Now you say, “Well, the law said, thou shalt not steal.” God can steal. God can steal that which belongs to Satan, and He is doing it. The Scripture says, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” The Lord Jesus Christ is committing adultery with Eve, who is married to Satan, and the Lord Jesus Christ can do it.

 

The Scripture says, “Thou shalt not kill.” The Lord Jesus Christ has already killed the carnal mind in His -- in the days of His flesh, and He’s going to do it in our person, and He can do it. They said, “Thou shalt not lie,” but the Lord sent a lying spirit to Ahab. The Lord can do anything He wants to do. Don’t judge the action -- judge the spirit. Hallelujah.

 

And he gave power to the beast to generate human beings, and they worshipped the beast, all the human beings that he generated, saying, “Who is like unto the beast?” He’s wonderful. “Who is able to make war with him?” Who is able to defeat the beast?

 

I declare to you, brethren, there is no human being alive that can defeat the beast. Only Christ can defeat the beast. Without him, we will be enslaved to this beast forever. This world system, we have recently found out, will never self-destruct. It is an eternal pit. Mankind would go down lower and lower and lower, but we will never be destroyed. But there’s only one way out, and that is to be absorbed into Christ. There’s o- -- only one way out of this age. This is an age that we’re dwelling in, and the only way out is to transfer our true reality, which is our human spirit, into the new age of Christ.

 

And anyone that has known -- that knows anything about science knows that this world system doesn’t -- nothing here is destroyed. It just changes form. It just changes form. Anyone that knows anything about science knows that that’s true, and the example is water. It goes from vapor to water to ice, and it can continue to be converted. If you don’t have this knowledge, you think the ice is destroyed, but it’s not. It’s just been converted to water or vapor. Nothing here is destroyed, and the only way out is to transfer into a new age, and that is what Christ is doing here. He is making Himself available, a ransom for us to run into, a city of refuge to get out of this age, one of which -- the name -- one of the names of which is hell. Hallelujah.

 

“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies.” One of the overriding characteristics of the carnal mind is pride, and the mouth typifies the personality of the beast in the realm of appearance, thinking great things of himself and blasphemies against God.

 

“And power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.” Forty-two months, and I do want to take a minute to show you this, because I think it’s going to bless you. We recently did a message on Bible numerology. I’ll do it fast. And we found out that in the 40 columns -- in the 40 columns -- that that refers to the realm of appearance. The 100 columns refers to the realm of the soul. The 1,000 columns refers to the spirit. Anybody not with me? Are you with me?

 

OK, the 40 columns -- not the 40, the 10 columns refers to the realm of appearance. The number four typifies the glorified man, but we found out that this number can be positive or negative. It can be the spiritual man, Christ, totally glorified, or it can mean the fallen man at his most fallen condition. And, since we’re talking about the beast, I’m going to suggest to you this number 40 is talking about the fallen man in his most fallen condition, and the number -- the digit where the two is -- I don’t know what that’s called. The digit where the two is refers to ministry, and the number in that place is two. So we have the fallen man, at his most fallen condition, ministering in the realm of appearance on two levels. He is fallen to his uttermost, both in his soul and in his body, both in his soul and in his body. And the Scripture doesn’t even talk about the spirit. He’s an utterly corrupted, fallen being to the ultimate that he can descend to.

 

Anybody not understand that? OK.

 

So he was doing all his dirty work until -- he was doing all his dirty work, from when to when? Whenever we talk about spiritual things, we have to ask the Lord, from when? The Lord gives me a lot of words of wisdom and prophecies about things that will happen, and He’ll say to me, “in two or three days.” And now I have learned that I must say to him, Lord, two or three days from when? Because I was losing confidence in my ability to hear from God. Two or three days would go by, and it wouldn’t happen. And He finally taught me, “Sheila, you have to say, two or three days from when?”

 

Hallelujah. God’s not going to change for us. We have to learn His ways. We have to learn how to reach Him. He’ll only come down so far, far enough for us to lay hold of Him, and we have to start hiking ourselves up. He’s not coming down here. He’s not changing. We have to change. Man has to change. We’re fallen. God’s not fallen. OK. And he opened his -- and he continued blaspheming God in his most fallen condition, from the time of the fall, I suggest to you, unto his lowest spiritual condition.

 

And let me put this comment in right here now. You’re free to disagree with me, if you want. I have sought the Lord on this issue, and it -- especially with regard to the Book of Daniel, where there was so much talk about Daniel 7, weeks and all of this calculation with the time. And I am of the opinion that any figures in the Scripture, with regard to natural Israel, are literal. We know Israel went into Babylon for 70 years. The Scripture prophesied it, and they went. But I declare to you that this is a spiritual covenant, and we are entering into the spiritual age, and any numbers in the Scripture with regard to this covenant are spiritual. And pretty soon, Lord willing, we’re going to be do -- doing Daniel 9, and unless God changes my mind, I am of the opinion at this point that those Scriptures about Daniel 7 -- weeks, et cetera, et cetera -- that they are not literal.

 

Now you may recall that I told you a couple of weeks ago that the Lord brought me into the Book of Daniel and gave me an overview of the Book of Daniel, and then He started me on chapter 8, word by word. So it’s possible that I’m going to find out that I was mistaken, but right now, this is what I believe He told me. Glory to God. OK.

 

Verse 6, “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name -- that’s God’s spirit -- and his tabernacle.” Who’s God’s tabernacle? Anybody? Our -- yes, our Adamic soul is His tabernacle. “And them that dwell in heaven.” So who dwells in heaven? Our human spirit. We are our human spirit. Our reality is our human spirit.

 

Our human spirit dwells in a soul, and the soul dwells in a body, but we are spirit, and the problem that we have right now is that we are so completely joined to Satan that we think that we are her, but we are not her. We are Christ, and we are in the process of being separated from our false identity, and we have a whole church world out there that has this revelation and thinks that all they have to do to get separated from their false identity is to deny that they have a false identity. But I declare to you that the Scripture has shown that we are so -- not tied, but so interwoven with Satan and the carnal mind that it’s likened to a dyed fabric, and dye is irreversible. But all things are possible with God, and it’s going to take a lot more than denying your false identity to get separated from Satan and the carnal mind. It’s going to take a warfare, and there’s going to be a lot of casualties. You’re not going up automatically, and if you bought that lie, I really suggest you pray about it, because it’s just that, a lie, as -- and the travail is going to come upon you suddenly, and you won’t be prepared for it. Hallelujah.

 

So he opened his mouth -- that’s his personality in the realm of appearance -- and he blasphemed against God, God’s spirit, the soul that God dwells in, which is -- we -- our Adamic personalities, and them that dwell in heaven, our human spirit, our true nature. He blasphemed. He lied about God and God’s people and God’s people’s personalities.

 

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints.” Who was a saint? A saint is anybody that has a relationship with Christ in any measure. You become a saint. “And to overcome them.” It was -- it is Satan’s intention through the carnal mind to overcome the saints in anything and in everything, to pull them down and pull them away from what God has called them to. “And to overcome them.” And what does that mean? It means that they should not live out of Christ, but live out of the carnal mind. How does Satan overcome a saint? He gets that saint to disagree with Christ and agree with the carnal mind, and I want to tell you something. It’s a very rare saint that’s going to do it willingly. Most of the saints must be deceived. If you’ve come to the Lord, and you have a relationship with the Lord, and you’re moving in God, why in the world would you willingly obey your carnal mind? He must deceive you. There’s no other way.

 

“And power was given him over all kindreds, tongues and nations.” Brethren, Satan through his carnal mind has power over human beings. He has power to destroy. Destroy what? Destroy Christ in you. Christ is dwelling within you, as if He is a fetus. If He’s being formed in you, you are a pregnant woman, and you are capable of aborting. And it is Satan’s full intention to cause you to abort through willing or unwilling rejection of the mi- -- of the instruction of Christ in you. And if you won’t do it willingly, he’ll trick you into it.

 

Do you not know that the only way the natural Israel could be harmed was to make them sin? Balaam would not curse them. He was afraid to curse them. God warned him not to curse them. Everyone that cursed them got hurt. Every army that fought them was defeated. Every nation that fought them was wiped out. What brought it? What brought Israel down? What brought Israel down? They rebelled against their God. They entered into idolatry, and they were lifted up in pride.

 

Nothing can destroy you as a believer except your entering into sinful activity, whether you know it’s sinful activity or not. This is not a game -- this is dangerous. Your spiritual life depends upon it. Who is your spiritual life? He is Christ that is dwelling in the midst of you, and if you sin to the point that He aborts, you are a dead man. Hallelujah.

 

Verse 8, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him.” And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him. At some time in your life, you have worshipped the beast, and even if you are a Christian, there are probably some times that you are worshipping him now. How do I know that? Because you’re not in full stature. You must be worshipping him part of the time. No matter how hard you try, you’ve got to be doing it.

 

“Whose names were not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world is the spiritual Son of God who was joined to the earth so that we could be formed, and to be written in His book, brethren, means that His image must be engraved upon your soul.

 

So, if Christ is being formed in you, and you have two minds or two souls, Christ and the carnal mind, you are doing both. Your name is partially written in the book of life, and it’s partially written in the book of death, and you must choose. He who halts between two opinions shall surely die. Halt ye not between two opinions, but cleave unto righteousness. Deny your -- any selfish motives that you have, and ask the Lord continuously. I pray continuously, keep me from sin. I know that I don’t stand a chance of entering in, if it weren’t for Christ. I have seen the deceptive ability of the carnal mind. I have been deceived. I know what it’s like to be deceived. It’s not pleasant. If you really have a goo- -- if you’re deep into God, and you’re deceived, it’s a terrible feeling. I felt shame. All I could do was hang my head.

 

Verse 9, “If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity, and he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

 

If you can understand, brethren, then understand. The one that leadeth into captivity must go into captivity. Who leadeth into captivity? The carnal mind ruled by Satan, he leads you continuously into captivity. He must go into captivity, but how is he going to go into captivity? He’s very strong. He’s stronger than any single one of us.

 

The next phrase says, “And he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword.” And this I know is not on the other messages, because the Lord just gave it to me. Every spirit, every mind, has a weapon. We’ve talked about it here. Every mind has a weapon. The weapon of the carnal mind -- the weapon of Satan is the carnal mind, and the weapon of the Father is Christ. He who killeth with the sword, the carnal mind, the only way he’s going to die is with the sword of Christ.

 

Does not Christ possess a sword, a two-edged sword? The only way the carnal mind will be destroyed is to be impaled upon the sword of the Lord Jesus Christ, and of the twain, he made one new man. We must each kill our own carnal mind. We must slay the enmity in our flesh by the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. And before we can get to that point, we must identify the carnal mind. We must resist the carnal mind. We must hate the carnal mind and actively destroy him. We must lay hold of every thought and bring it into captivity.

 

Verse 11, “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake like a dragon.” And that, I’m going to suggest to you, is the human spirit that is still attached to Satan. Our human spirit, at this point, is having a sexual relationship, both if He’s being formed in you or even if you have the baptism with the Holy Spirit -- our human spirit, our reality, is involved sexually with two men. She’s a harlot. She’s involved with Satan, and she’s involved with the Lord, and she has a child from both of them, the carnal mind and Christ. And the whole mess is inside of us, in our mind. Do you wonder that sometimes you have trouble distinguishing between your carnal mind and Christ? Both the carnal mind and Christ have the same mother. They’re both in the same household of your mind. Is it not understandable that you could be deceived, that any one of us could be deceived?

 

But when Isaac was weaned -- excuse me -- when Isaac was weaned, when Christ is mature enough to be weaned, Sarah said, “Cast out the bondwoman and her child.” We are living in this hour with two minds: one, the mind of promise, and the other, the bastard. And when Christ is mature enough, Eve, the mother, will say, “Cast out the child of the bondwoman,” and she will end her relationship with Satan, and she will cast out the carnal mind, and she will cleave solely unto the Father and her son Christ, and she shall be saved in childbearing. Hallelujah. Glory to God.

 

So we have a human spirit that is not all our friend. She’s a harlot. What does that mean? The human spirit is involved in everything spiritual. Anything in your life that’s spiritual, whether it’s the spirit of God or outright witchcraft, the human spirit is involved in it. So we’re talking here about a beast that looks like a lamb. She looks like she’s Christ, but she spake like a dragon. Brethren, open up your ears. It’s that easy to be deceived. It really looks like God, it sounds like God, it tastes like God, but it’s not God. The Bible calls it an angel of light, and you know, you can be an angel of light one day or in one circumstance and not in another.

 

Wouldn’t it be easy if the angel of light was always evil and we could go around and say, “That’s an angel of light. Stay away from there.” Isn’t that what the church world does? Don’t go no -- near the Jehovah’s Witnesses. They’re wicked. Don’t go to that church. They don’t believe in the rapture. But it’s not that easy. People are human beings. God loves us all. He’s saving this whole human race. And I don’t know where this message is going, but batten down the hatches, brethren, because the Jehovah’s Witnesses have some truth. There’s truth everywhere. There’s spiritual truth in Hinduism. There’s spiritual truth in Buddhism. Sometimes they’re wiser than the church in spiritual truth, but what the church has that these other religions don’t have is the Spirit of God, and all of the truth in the world is worthless without the Spirit of God.

 

Are you so weak that you’re afraid to talk to a Jehovah’s Witness? If you are, I recommend you petition the Lord to strengthen you. How are you going to minister to the world? And if you can’t do it, you need instruction. You need instruction. I don’t condemn anybody. I’m God’s spokeper- -- spokesperson. I’m not here to baby you. If you can’t do it, if you can’t talk to someone that you disagree with in a godly way, you need instruction. And if I can’t do it, I need instruction. You don’t say to somebody, “It’s OK.” It’s never OK. You have to stop doing it. It’s never acceptable to God.

 

Verse 12, “And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” So your human spirit joined to the carnal mind in Satan has all of the spiritual authority of what you might call the unregenerate man, someone that you know is not in Christ. This beast looks like she’s in Christ, but she’s not, and she has spiritual authority to do all kinds of wonders, and what does she do? She convinces you to worship the beast.

 

What does that mean? She convinces you to believe that the thoughts that she’s putting in your mind are Christ. To the one that you yield your members, to the one that you obey, to the one that you serve, that is the god that you worship. The worship of the beast, brethren, is agreement with the carnal mind. The church is filled with fantasy and childish fables about guillotines and anti-Christ soldiers. Brethren, the worship of the beast is agreement with your carnal mind; the one to whom you yield your members, the one whom you obey is the one that you worship.

 

How simple it would be to line up and bravely be guillotined. I’m serious. It’s over. One, two, three, your head’s cut off, and it’s finished. Trying living 15 years out of your life resisting the carnal mind, trying to figure out where she is and who she is and when she’s manifesting.

 

Verse 13, “And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven and on the earth in the sight of men.” That’s talking about spiritual signs and wonders, healing and deliverance. Are you confused, brethren, because you’re looking at someone, and they look so much like a person of God? And they’re great in healing, and they’re great in deliverance, and they have wonderful revelation, and they’ve given you wisdom and counsel, and they’ve prayed for you, and you’ve been healed. And then one day, all of a sudden, blasphemy is coming out of their mouth. Are you confused? Well, that’s the way God said it would be. He told us that’s how it’s going to be. One person, one day, they’re the carnal mind; the next day, they’re Christ. One hour, they’re the carnal mind; the next hour, they’re Christ. One minute or second, they’re the carnal mind; the next minute or second, they’re Christ.

 

Verse 14, “And deceiveth them that dwell upon the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

 

And I’m not going to spend much time on it, but the image is the carnal mind. It’s the personality in the realm of appearance. The human spirit in union with Satan has deceived them that dwell on the earth. Those that are carnal men, you are deceived that your human s- -- about the fact that your human spirit has joined with Satan to produce the carnal mind in you. That’s the image that they made, the carnal mind. And you think it’s Christ because it has two horns, and it looks like a lamb, but it’s the beast.

 

Verse 15, “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast.” And that word means breath. He gave existence to the carnal mind. That’s us. We’re all manifestations of the carnal mind in a human body. We have breath. We have breath, we have existence. Satan has generated this en- -- this entire world of humanity. Every human being alive has been generated by Satan. Even Jesus’ body -- Jesus was the logos of God, the perfect seed of Christ that was injected into a body and an Adamic soul that was generated by Satan. And He overcame it, and He killed it.

 

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak” -- let me tell you, the carnal mind speaks, and he speaks out of the most religious believer you know -- “and cause that as many as would worship the image of the beast -- as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

 

Well, how could you get killed? Do you think you’re going to line up and get guillotined? Do you think you’re going to get shot? Brethren, all -- you can only get killed when you lose your life. Who is your life? Who is your life? Jesus is your life. This is not talking about the death of your body, brethren. You’re already dead. If Jesus is not your life, if He’s not dwelling in you, you’re already dead. When your body dies, it’s just after the fact. The only way you can lose your life is to be in agreement with the carnal mind so much that it treads Christ in you underfoot, and for that person, there is no more sacrifice for sins. Why? Because you’ve just killed him!

 

Verse 16, “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bound, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.” Boy, the church world goes crazy with this. Brethren, your forehead is your mind, and your right hand is your behavior, and everybody is born with this mark. Every human being alive is born with the carnal mind. Everybody alive is not born with the mind of Christ. Jesus Christ of Nazareth was the only one that was born with the mind of Christ. He had a warfare from the day He was born, maybe even in utero. I don’t know. Everyone else is born with the mark of the beast. You’re worried about getting out of the army? You already got it.

 

And the only way you’re going to get the mark of God is to erase the mark of the beast from your mind. And how do you erase the mark of the beast from your mind? You have to start thinking with the mind of Christ. You have to change your mind. You have to start looking at things differently. You have to start thinking differently. You have to start handling yourself differently, and you have to make a transition. Your human spirit must transfer out of the carnal mind into the mind of Christ, and that’s not easy, and it’s a warfare, and it takes -- right now, it’s taking a long time. I don’t know what’s going to be in the future, but I’ve been working on it for years. Glory to God.

 

And when you -- when your mind gets renewed, then your behavior gets renewed. For you to change your behavior without renewing your mind is a religious work of no consequence. The Lord is looking at the heart in this dispensation. If you had the power to totally keep yourself from doing any ungodly deed, you would still die. The only thing that will give you life is Christ. This is the -- in my opinion, the greatest error of the teaching of old-order deliverance. Keep casting them out, keep casting them out, keep casting them out. You’ll be OK. No, you won’t be OK. If Christ is not formed in you, if Christ is not fully born in you, you will not be OK. You will die.

 

And the purpose of old-order deliverance is to clear your mind to the extent that the seed of Christ can implant. That’s the purpose of old-order deliverance. It’s a mercy of God, but it has a purpose. It’s just like there are ministries all over the country -- I don’t know about the world -- where you’ll see they have soup kitchens, and they feed the poor, and they go after the alcoholics and the drug addicts and the derelicts. What is their main motive behind doing this? Is it just the mercy of God for the starving, or is it their intention to impart the gospel to them? Is it not their intention to impart the gospel to them? And why would it be their intention to impart the gospel to them? Because nobody wants to be feeding the downtrodden and the poor for the rest of their lives. The poor shouldn’t want it. They should get fed and get restored and get up on their feet and become self-sustaining, and that is what the gospel will do.

 

Well on one level up, that is what we’re doing with old-order deliverance. We’re ministering to the poor. We’re feeding them whatever word is coming to them. We’re helping them get on their feet. We’re helping them get out of major sin: drug addiction, alcoholism, fornication. But our real motive, whether you know it or not, the Holy Spirit’s real motive is to engraft the seed of God in their heart. Hallelujah. And there is an idolatry for old-order deliverance. Beware of it. It will kill you. Hallelujah.

 

Verse 17, “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

 

Now I’m not going to go into it here, but I think we deal with it on the No. 32 series. The expression, buy and sell, is referring to the formation of human souls and human bodies that eventually appear in this realm of appearance. And if I recall correctly, when we looked up those three levels on which they were to function, they would have to have the name of the beast, which is his spirit. And they would have to have the mark of the beast, which I’m not really sure. I don’t remember this exactly. The mark of the beast would probably be the carnal mind, if I remember correctly. The name of the beast is the spirit of Satan, and the number of his name turned out to be the human body.

 

So, in order to appear in this realm of appearance with a spirit, a male spirit -- and we know Satan has stolen the male role -- with a male spirit, and he’s stolen a human body, you have to cohabit with Satan -- except, of course, it doesn’t say it here. It’s a hidden mystery, but of course, there is coming into the world very soon a new way. Right now, Satan is the only way that you can get into this world system. You need her to generate a body and an Adamic soul. Even when the Lord wants to put an anointed on the earth, He has to take one of the bodies and souls generated by Satan, but that’s about to change. When we enter into the new age of Jesus Christ, the new power base that is already in the earth, we’ll begin to generate souls and bodies. Exactly how it’s going to happen, I don’t know. I’m sure it won’t be the same way as Satan is doing it.

 

Does anyone have a problem with that? OK.

 

And, finally, verse 18, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six.”

 

And, as we said earlier, the hundreds digit in our Bible numerology refers to the soul. In the realm of appearance, the number is six. He is a natural man. In his soul, he is the natural man. In the realm of appearance, in his body, he is a fall -- I should say, a fallen man. The number six is the number of the fallen man. So, in his soul, he is a fallen man. In his body, he is a fallen man. And in the 10 digit, he is also a six in his ministry. He is also a fallen man, and that means that he is not subject, or he does not have available to him the spiritual healing of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now healing and doctors and nurses, they’re wonderful if you’re living in this world system, but there is a better way. There is a better way than having your abdomen cut open. Can you deny that there’s a better way? But, for the time being, if you want to be a nurse, and you want to be in the medical community, it’s a wonderful thing. Do you understand that? OK.

 

OK, are there any questions on this issue? God wants you to understand this unseen warfare. I had a dream once that there was a country, a seashore -- a seaside resort, and there were all these people on this patio-type thing. I saw it once when I was at a hotel in Puerto Rico. It’s a platform, and they have all these umbrellas and tables, and they have the bar where they have the piña coladas and all that, you know, and everybody’s having a wonderful time.

 

And off the shore, in the water, were these ugly-looking beasts, and they were under the water. And there was this big fence. It was like a cyclone fence that went down into the sand, and it was in the water, you know, but it’s guarding the beach. But these wicked beings were on -- of course, outside of the fence, but they had a captain there. And, one by one, they were presenting themselves at the cyclone fence, and the captain would lay his hands on their head and force them all the way down under the water, down two or three feet, and they were going under that cyclone fence and popping up on the other side. And they were all -- it was almost like a cartoon comedy. They were running up on this platform with all the umbrellas, and the Lord told me that was the church and all the saints having this wonderful time. And they were running around setting their explosives and setting up all their plans and all their paraphernalia, and they kept looking around, you know, to see if anybody could see them. And nobody saw them. Nobody saw them. They were too busy having a good time. And that’s the truth.

 

So, if you wonder why your life is hard, part of the reason might be that God doesn’t want you to be a part of that crew that cannot see the enemy, because life is so good that they can’t imagine that anything could be wrong. But the truth is, we’re fallen. The truth is, we’re spiritually deranged and insane. Compared to the mind of Christ, the best of us is criminally insane. Our bodies are corruptible, and we’re vile on every level in comparison to God. We are so vile on every level that God in His Scripture calls us nothing. Do you remember that, when we did Isaiah 63? We had that in one of those messages. God calls us nothing. He says, you are nothing compared to Me. Who do you think you are? And our only hope is to totally align ourselves with Christ, that by His strength, we might ascend back up into the heavenlies.

If Christ is just to be formed, His character, His character has -- not -- the knowledge isn’t the point. It’s His characteristics, His mercy, His gentleness. That’s Christ forming with, you know [INAUDIBLE].

 

Well, that is Christ forming us, but also, when Christ starts to mature in you, the revelation will come forth. It’s not the only -- sorry, the primary sign. There are two primary signs of Christ. The first one is his righteousness, and the second one is His love. And I remind you that both righteousness and love out of Christ, although they might look the same as righteousness and love out of the carnal mind, are very different, and we must learn to distinguish them.

 

As He continues to mature, revelation knowledge and wisdom in the Scriptures is a sign that His mind is appearing in you. It’s not the only sign, and one must be very careful to not be condemned because they don’t have revelation, but look forward to that happening in them as He continues to be formed in them. Do you understand me? There’s no condemnation in it, but look for it. Look for an -- for little, like, little bursts of understanding as a sign that His mind is overtaking your carnal mind.

 

And at the time that we stand up in full stature, the doctrine will have to be there, at least in some measure. I honestly don’t know at what point. He’s going to meet us in the air, the Scripture says. So that means we can only go so far, and then He’s going to come down and meet us and take us up the rest of the way. So, exactly -- all I could tell you is, I got a lot of revelation, and I’m still locked down here. I’m still in this insane asylum down here, and I want to tell you, when you have all the revelation that I have, and you -- you’re in this insane asylum, it’s painful because it’s more real. You realize the insane asylum that you’re in. The more you ascend in Christ, the more you realize that you’re in jail, that you’re in an institution for the criminally insane, you know.

 

So at some point -- and it may be -- you know, it may be different for everybody. Everybody may not be at the same degree with their revelation. Everybody may not be at the same degree with righteousness, although I honestly don’t know. I just know that we can -- we’re going to go so far, and He’s going to yank us up the rest of the way. It’s going to be cut short in righteousness, the work. What work? The work of our laboring to overcome the carnal mind is going to be cut short in righteousness. What does that mean? He is going to stand up in us, and He’s going to put down the carnal mind, and our labor will be over. OK?

 

So don’t worry about it, because He’s called you very strongly. So you have nothing to worry about. Just keep on doing what you’re doing. Everybody here is very serious.

 

But the whole -- let me just say it one more time. I feel -- to say it one more time. The whole point is that He enters into our heart as a mustard seed, and He’s almost -- virtually powerless at that point, and He starts to grow, and He -- we suffer a lot in this pregnancy, but at some point, He will get strong enough to just do the wor- -- finish off the work in one quick stroke. So we’re struggling with Him until --
