Why Another Translation?

 Introduction
Romans 8:1-14 (KJV)

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. KJV)

Why Another Translation?

The King James Translators were not spiritual men. They were scholars who, themselves, perceived the Deity of the Scripture as an unforgiving, punishing God.  But there is another Message, a spiritual understanding of the Scripture called the Doctrine of Christ, which reveals a loving God. whose sole intention towards mankind is to deliver us from hell and death.
There are many definitions for each word in the English dictionary. There are also many translations for each  Hebrew and Greek word in the original text of the Scripture.
The King James Translators deal with the problem of one Hebrew source word appearing several times in a single Chapter, by using a different English word each time that the Hebrew word appears.
The Translator's choices, then, are directly related to his knowledge of the Word of God, and the degree to which he is influenced by the Spirit of Revelation.
It is for this very reason that the Lord directs us to study the Hebrew and Greek Interlinear text and, when appropriate to express the spiritual intent of the Scripture, to choose a legitimate Alternate Translation from the Hebrew and Greek lexicons listed in the front of the Alternate Translation Bible.
The Alternate English Translations for some of the Hebrew and Greek words in the Scripture are just as legitimate as the choices made by the King James Translators, but they render a radically different, and much more positive, Translation than the Authorized Version.
Multiple English translations of the same Hebrew or Greek word in the King James text are a perfectly legitimate example of Translator's License, and simply prove our point: That the King James Translators, themselves, used multiple definitions of the same Hebrew and Greek Word.
The Alternate Translation Bible is a Spiritual Translation of the Scripture which is as legitimate to the Spiritual Mind as the King James translation is to the Carnal Mind.
The Alternate Translation Bible  sounds radically different than the King James and other translations, because it  must be Spiritually Discerned (1 Cor. 2:14).
The King James Translation is one of many accepted translations of the Scripture. A knowledge of the True Intent of the Spirit who gave the Scripture, and a desire to cleave to the spiritual Word of Christ, rather than to a Translation of the written Hebrew and Greek Word (Phil. 3:8), should be a top priority for all genuine seekers of Truth.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Truth (Jn. 14:6) and the Living Word (Jn. 1:1) that feeds Mankind through  imperfect vessels. Seek God and He will direct your paths (Pro. 3:6), but beware of idolatry for the King James, or any other Translation.
May the Lord Jesus Christ expose all of our wrong thinking, and graft the Truth of Christ to our heart and mind because, when the Doctrine of Christ is taught by the Spirit of Christ, that Spirit resurrects our potential for Eternal Life (Rom. 8:11).

God bless you.

Sincerely in Christ,
